Graveyard Shift 97 – WMW Arena in Cleveland, Ohio

The Network Makes A Decision
[The shot opens up inside of the ring where Sault St. Marie stands with a microphone and a briefcase. He smiles.]
Sault St. Marie – Welcome everyone to Graveyard Shift 97. Thank you for those watching at home and thank you those here in the WMW Arena in downtown Cleveland.
[The crowd cheers.]
Sault St. Marie – Now, I’ve decided to take this time to, basically address the current situation here. There are a lot of things going on, a lot of big shows, like El Dia De Los Muertos, and Graveyard Shift 100 coming up… I mean, so much to consider, but – we need to move forward.
[He pauses and begins to pace slowly.]
Sault St. Marie – Last week, as we all saw here in the WMW Arena, arguably the greatest Hardcore Champion in WMW History Valora Salinas, decided – for the betterment of her and for the betterment of this company, that she was going to retire the Hardcore Championship, and move on to bigger and better things.
[He stops and looks around.]
Sault St. Marie – I don’t know about you guys, but it really took me by surprise. And all though it took me a-back, I know… I know that it was the right decision. And I wasn’t going to stand in her way… or the company’s. To succeed here… to survive here… you must create opportunities for yourself.
[He smiles and nods.]
Sault St. Marie – So again, I want to congratulate Valora. I fully grant her wish to retire the Hardcore Championship as her… Hardcore Championship. And I also want to wish her luck in her way to achieving her goal – at becoming the next Ace Superior Champion.
[The crowd cheers.]
Sault St. Marie – Tonight, she will be put to the test, as in tonight’s Main Event, we will have Valora vs. Druscilla… and this match, for sure, has #1 Contender implications. Only time will tell, but one of these two women will more than likely go on to El Dia 09 to challenge Ryven.
[The crowd cheers again. Lots of "Valora" chants. SSM smiles and begins to pace.]
Sault St. Marie – But, just like that door closed to some people here, another one opens. Guys like Mo’ Bad, Dess, Amariie, Damian Knight, they all have an opportunity before them.
[He pauses and sighs.]
Sault St. Marie – When I talked about creating your own opportunities, I wasn’t just talking about Valora. No… I had a chance to sit down with someone over the weekend, and he too, had some ideas of how he can, not only help this company, help the guys in the back. But also, to help himself. And- to be honest, I normally don’t go to sales meetings because a lot of the times, you get sold junk. But this guy…
[He walks over to the ropes and drapes his arm over it.]
Sault St. Marie – This guy… had an idea that – realistically, in this market – I’d bury the company bone dry if I didn’t take it. So, first – let me introduce to you… this guy.
[Just then, "The Dance" from the Life Aquatic Soundtrack blasts from the PA and out walks Jack Reynolds. The crowd pops.]
Jack Gene – It’s Jack Reynolds!
[Jack's wearing a suit. Well, sort of. The jacket is a nice fall brown, with out a dress shirt under neath it. He's just wearing a t-shirt. And, on the bottom - he's wearing jeans and flip flops. He walks to the ring. Oh, and his beard is growing quite nicely.]
Bill Hughes – Seriously? He’s the guy? Jack couldn’t come up with a good idea even if he tried. And by Jack, I mean him. And by him, I mean you. And by you… I mean him. Or did I?
Jack Gene – …what the heck are you on about?
[Jack gets into the ring and he shakes hands with Sault St. Marie.]
Sault St. Marie – So… Jack Reynolds – explain to these people… your idea.
[Jack takes the mic. He can't stop smiling.]
Jack Reynolds – Wow… just… great introduction. I’m honored, first and foremost, to have this opportunity to come out before you and to introduce what we’re… well, what I’m about to introduce. Wrestling Midwest started over 5 years ago. It was a dream child of 2 men. The Johnson Brothers. They brought in Umbrage, Garvin, and Sub-Beast. With them, they brought prestige, dignity, and the type of savvy that you rarely see. Together, they brought in the likes of Harold Hash, Fury, Dess, Matrix, Noah Hanson. And later on Justin Evers, AWS Man, I mean I could go on about the history – you guys know about the history.
[He shakes his head.]
Jack Reynolds – Sorry, I’m really nervous. But… one of the things they set out to do was… do this differently. Whether it was to reach out to a community like Cleveland and make this their permanent home instead of spending loads of cash to go globably, and fail epically. They wanted to make sure that the home ground was strong so that – building forward they could also build upwards.
[He begins to pace.]
Jack Reynolds – You look at what this industry has done in the last 5-10-15 years, and when you look at fed after fed after fed, you start to lose track of what you’re looking at. Because, they lost their tradition. They lost their identity. So, the Johnsons set out to bring together a group of fighters, workers, families… to bring back that tradition. That is the identity of Wrestling Midwest. Respect, Honor, Dignity. You look at the Champions here and you know that they are the Champions and they will be for the forseeable future. You believe that they are bigger than life. You go anywhere else and that same feeling isn’t there.
[He nods and looks at SSM. They share a nod.]
Jack Reynolds – Part of that identity, was not only being different on where competition was held and being traditionally sound, it was about innovating. Not just throwing together a table match and a ladder match. But, really – changing the way people think. Now, one of the things that I always loved about Wrestling Midwest when I first started watching, was the fact that – they really always didn’t have a Hardcore Champion. I mean, everyone has a Hardcore Champion. But, no one has a Great Lakes Champion. No one has an Ace Superior Champion. Or a Heartlands Champion. Or…
[He looks back over to Sault St. Marie and points to him. SSM raises up the briefcase. He begins to open it. As he does, he throws the briefcase away only leaving a Championship title in his hand.]
Jack Reynolds – And no one had a Shoot Champion. Except here.
Jack Gene – My god! It’s the Shoot Championship! Its been… 2 years since we last saw it.
Jack Reynolds – …and that set us apart. WMW isn’t cookie cutter. WMW doesn’t fit a mold. When I came here, I didn’t come here to become another World Champion for a fed that would only last a month. I came here to become the Shoot Champion. The title of honor, dignity and respect. Pure wrestling, done the right way. No chairs. No ladders. Just you… your opponent… and the weapons that God gave you.
[He holds up his fists and smiles. Just then, Sault St. Marie walks up to him and takes the mic.]
Sault St. Marie – Exactly, Jack. So – tonight, there are 2 matches taking place between some people who are looking to make a name for themselves. And tonight, they will have that opportunity. Dess vs. Damian Knight. Amariie vs. Mo ‘Bad. Tonight… we’re going to start our selves a little tournament.
[The crowd pops and Sault smiles as he looks around. Reynolds smiles at him.]
Sault St. Marie – Tonight, is the beginning of the First Annual…
[He looks over at Jack and smiles.]
Sault St. Marie – Jack Reynolds Invitational. And, at the finish line. The winners of this tournament will go on to face… Jack Reynolds… at El Dia De Los Muertos 2009, for the Shoot Championship.
Jack Gene – My god! Did you hear that Bill? Jack Reynolds, El Dia ‘09, he’s using his title shot to bring back the Shoot Championship! I can’t believe it!
Sault St. Marie – So, there you go. When one door closes, another door opens. Good luck to all those involved.
[At that, the music hits, and the shot fades to a commercial.]

Without Fail
[The shot opens up as Sault St. Marie walking into his office holding the Shoot Championship. He puts it on the shelf behind him, along with the retired Midwest and Women's Championship. He walks back to his desk and sits down. Just then, he looks up.]
Sault St. Marie – Ah, so its you that wanted to see me? My secretary was being a tad bit vague on who the next appointment was going to be. Come, take a seat right here.
[St. Marie motions the individual, not yet in view, to grab a seat. Once the camera pans a touch to the left, Mr. Videogame is shown in view. He takes a seat. On closer inspection, its clear that Mr. Videogame is holding a "Nintendo DS" on his right hand.]
Sault St. Marie – So, what’s this about? Just like you, I also read— oh, how do you call them? “Dirtsheets” right?
Mr. Videogame – That’d be correct.
Sault St. Marie – Yeah, dirtsheets. Meltzer had a lot to say a couple of weeks back in regards to you. I could only assume someone in my staff said something aloud without thinking of the ramifications of what’s being said. I do sincerely apologize on their behalf and of my own, Videogame.
[Mr. Videogame with his right hand while nodding his head.]
Mr. Videogame – Its no problem. These things happen, you know? Besides, Meltzer has himself a nice story now, you know?
[St. Marie chuckles a bit from that comment.
Sault St. Marie - Ha, indeed! ... well, alright. Cat is out of the bag. I am sorry to say that your idea isn't exactly as ground breaking as Meltzer thought, though. Valora her self has the idea of having all the championship belts around her waist at the same time.
[Mr. Videogame nods.]
Mr. Videogame – I know. I guess she beat me to the punch, didn’t she?
Sault St. Marie – Indeed, she did…
[St. Marie begins to snaps his fingers, as if to say "eureka!".]
Sault St. Marie – Man, imagine a match between you two sometime down the line. You versus her. With the same goal in mind. She might have the hardcore, Ace Superior, while you have the Heartlands or any random combination could happen! It could make plenty of money for the both of you and for all of Wrestling Midwest. That’s a money feud not even the WWE could replicate! I mean, Orton vs Cena XV? Come on now!
[Mr. Videogame remains mute. He wears a stone faced expression on his face.]
Sault St. Marie – Though, if I were a betting man, I would bet on her you know? She’s plowed through the competition while you have stalled a fair bit, sorry to say. You’ve won all of your tag matches while you’ve lost all of your singles matches! … man, tough break, you know? But that’s the business for you.
[St. Marie notices Mr. Videogame is still silent. A nervous chuckle escapes out of his throat for a moment. He even avoids eye contact for a second.]
Sault St. Marie – Geez, lighten up a bit, will you? I’m only kidding around. Come on, laugh a bit, yeah?
[Mr. Videogame continues to stay mute, though the expression he wore earlier, as if he were having laser beams go right through St. Marie's body, has worn off. Its a more casual glare, at least one that doesn't spell "driving fear into a man's heart".]
Sault St. Marie – Well, alright then. That settles it. Wrestling Midwest and its fans would love to see where you, Mr. Videogame, stand a couple of months down the line. Maybe you might hold all the belts? Maybe not. But it will be a journey to broadcast, regardless. Heartlands is up first, right? Helcate beat you once and she’s doing well for her self. So win some matches and I’ll see about granting you a title shot against her. I wish you the best. Good luck!
[The shot fades to a shot inside of the ring.]

Valora/Videogame vs. Allocco/Father Nathan
Written by: Hecate
Wayne Inkster – Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Midwest Tag League 2 match. Introducing first, coming in with a combined weight of 470lbs from Rochester, NY and South Bend, Indiana respectfully they are the team of ….Adam Allocco and Father Nathan!!!
[The entrance music then starts as 'Hands on the Bible' by Local H plays over the speakers as Father Nathan walks out, his cross strapped to his back, dressed in the black robes of a catholic priest. A moment later, Adam Allocco walks out to stand on the top of the ramp beside Father Nathan and the two make their way down to the ring to a very mixed crowd as boos and cheers fill the aa. Father Nathan unslings his cross, laying it to rest at ringside, unfolding a stand to allow the cross to stand as Adam Allocco quickly climbs into the ring, and leans against his team's corner. He then kneels down before the cross, making the sign of the cross, and recites the prayer of serenity before standing and climbing into the ring to join Allocco on their side of the ring.]
Jack Gene – Father Nathan was pretty bold in his statement that his team would be the ones to do what no other team has done this tournament and that is beat Valora and Mr. Videogame.
Bill Hughes – The best the team of Father Nathan and Adam Allocco can hope to end up at is with a tie for second place, and as Valora pointed out to do that they have two huge mountains to climb in the team of Valora and Mr Videogame and the team of Druscilla and Amariie.
Jack Gene – Don’t think they can do it?
Bill Hughes – This is wrestling, there is always a chance but I wouldn’t place any bets on it. For Father Nathan and Adam Allocco to even tie for second place, they have to beat both Valora and Mr. Videogame tonight and then return to beat Amariie and Druscilla next time, if they are able to do that they will tie Amariie and Druscilla for second place with 10pts. Valora and Mr. Videogame have already secured first place.
Jack Gene – Put that way, it is a tall task for Father Nathan and Adam Allocco, but what about Father Nathan’s comments that since Valora and Mr Videogame have already secured first place they might be prone to letting their guard slip a bit?
Wayne Inkster – And their opponents, coming in with a combined weight of 405lbs from South Central LA, CA and Miami, FL respectfully they are the team of ….Valora and Mr. Videogame!!!
[The arena darkens a bit. After a few moments, 'Prayer' by Disturbed begins to play, followed immediately by "Poltergeist Mix" by Binster as Valora and Mr. Videogame walk out of the back and stand at the top of the entryway for a few moments. Then suddenly both Valora and Mr. Videogame start running down towards the ring, about halfway down the rampway, Valora hops twice and breaks into a dead sprint sliding into the ring, stopping her slide somewhere near the middle of the ring. She then hops up onto the top turnbuckle holding her Left arm out in front of her chest bringing her right fist up and placing it on the inside forearm of her left arm before lowering her face to be just above and behind her arm symbol, basking in the crowd's cheers before backflipping off the top turnbuckle and landing on her feet. She then makes her way to her corner and plops down into a seated position, rocking back and forth as she tugs at her hair while Mr Videogame slides into the ring just after her and waits in their corner.]
Bill Hughes – To answer the question you asked before Wayne so rudely interrupted, well it’s obvious that Father Nathan was given misguided information or was trying a lame attempt to get inside Valora’s and Mr. Videogame’s heads. First off, have you ever seen Valora give less than 150% inside that ring? Nope didn’t think so.
Jack Gene – You do have a point there, she seems to only have one speed, and that’s full speed.
Bill Hughes – Exactly, secondly…Valora wants to send a message to the tag champs, whoever ends up stepping in the ring to defend them. She wants to match what Kronin and AWS Man by going undefeated through the tournament, that’s enough for her to push Mr. Videogame to bring himself to at least the same level as Father Nathan and Adam Allocco.
Jack Gene – I don’t think that was..
Bill Hughes – It doesn’t matter what you think! Lastly and most importantly, if Father Nathan and Adam Allocco pull off a miracle here and beat Valora and Mr. Videogame, that will open the door for Druscilla and Amariie to end up with 12pts as well and tying Valora and Mr. Videogame for first place in the tournament.
Jack Gene – So this match does have more importance than just the pride of the wrestlers and this match could very well decide the final standings of the MTL 2. Looks like it will be Mr. Videogame and Father Nathan starting out for their teams.
Bill Hughes – This is smart by Valora, she’s going to let Mr. Videogame prove himself to her as a partner and secondly it wears down and weakens the person considered to be the most dangerous of their opponents. Everyone focuses on her violent matches, but it’s small things like that which show she’s alot more of a well rounded wrestler than what she’s given credit for, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out she’s been working with others to strength those parts of her game. And referee Luna Pier is calling for the bell now that she’s finished checking all four wrestlers for foreign objects.
(Ring, ring, ring)
[Mr Videogame and Father Nathan slowly circle each other for a moment before stepping forward and locking up in a collar and elbow tie up, both men straining to get the advantage over the other. They seem frozen in the middle of the ring as they are locked together in a silent conflict until in a flash, Mr Videogame gains the advantage with an armbar which he quickly turns into a hammerlock, yanking Father Nathan's arm up towards his shoulder blades, causing the priest to wince in pain. Father Nathan lifts himself up on his toes, his slightly larger height allowing him to relieve some of the pressure before leaning forward slightly, making Mr Videogame move with him to keep the pressure on the hammerlock, then suddenly snaps back and sends a heavy elbow slamming into the side of Mr. Videogame's head with enough force to jar Mr. Videogame but not enough to cause the hold to be broken. Father Nathan follows up with several more elbows until Mr. Videogame breaks the hammerlock as he staggers back a few steps and shakes his head to clear it as Father Nathan works out his arm to get the blood flowing again. Mr. Videogame moves in and tries to grab Father Nathan by the arm again but Father Nathan steps forward and delivers a rising European uppercut that freezes Mr. Videogame in his tracks, allowing Father Nathan to continue his offense with several more European uppercuts. Each uppercut knocks Mr. Videogame back a step until he's backed into the corner where Father Nathan suddenly unleashes his Fightin' Irish boxing combo, connecting with rights and lefts and finishing off with a wicked uppercut that rocks Mr. Videogame's head back against the turnbuckle.]
Jack Gene – Father Nathan has just rocked Mr. Videogame’s world with that combination of punches after those heavy European uppercuts staggered him back, I bet Mr. Videogame feels like he left the rumble control on during one of his games again.
Bill Hughes – Hardy har har…good one there Jack. Father Nathan only got the advantage by blinding Mr. Videogame with his bling.
Jack Gene – Bling, what bling are you talking about?!?
Bill Hughes – Why the diamond encrusted platinum crucifix that he wears around his neck, I saw it plan as day…I have no idea how that got past the referee.
Jack Gene – When was the last time you had your eyes checked Bill, Father Nathan doesn’t have a crucifix on!
Bill Hughes – That’s because he tucked it back in his shirt after he blinded Mr. Videogame with it, he’s not that dumb as to leave it out in plan view. Just you wait, Father Nathan is sneaky enough to try something like that again during this match. And now look, Father Nathan is blatantly ignoring the rules on attacking someone when they are in the ropes.
[Father Nathan is delivering a series of elbows and European uppercuts to Mr. Videogame in the corner, with the full weight of his body behind each blow. Stepping back before the referee Luna Pier can reach the end of her count, Father Nathan then charges the corner and puts all his momentum behind a clothesline that rocks Mr. Videogame's body which has no where to go. Father Nathan takes a few steps back as Mr. Videogame staggers out of the corner and delivers a boot to Mr. Videogame's midsection, hooking in a double under-hook as Mr. Videogame bends forward and hooking one of his legs around Mr. Videogame's legs. After a moment to look around the ring at the cheering crowd, Father Nathan sweeps Mr. Videogame's leg out as he falls backwards, driving Mr. Videogame's head into the mat with a combination side Russian leg sweet/double under-hook DDT. Quickly rolling Mr. Videogame over for a cover, Father Nathan hooks Mr. Videogame's far leg as Luna Pier starts her count...1...2...Mr. Videogame is able to kick out before the count of three. Father Nathan pulls Mr. Videogame back to his feet and sends the gamer across the ring into the ropes, stepping forward as Mr. Videogame charges back towards him and scoops Mr. Videogame up in his arms and allowing momentum to carry him around to deliver a thudding scoop slam to Mr. Videogame and quickly pulling his legs up for another pinning combination. Luna Pier slides into position and counts...1...2...Mr. Videogame is able to get his shoulder up again. Father Nathan doesn't let up though, pulling Mr. Videogame to his feet and sending him crashing into the corner where Allocco waits on the outside.]
Jack Gene – Father Nathan is really focused out there tonight, he’s not giving Mr. Videogame any chance to recover at all and it looks like he’s going to bring the fresh Allocco in.
Bill Hughes – Father Nathan, even if he’s a goody goody buddy of Reynolds, is showing he has some ring smarts by going for those quick pinfalls to try and end this match early and without letting Valora into the match.
Jack Gene – And this is a good chance to send a message to the rest of the Ace Superior division that he’s not one to be overlooked.
Bill Hughes – The referee must be a member of Father Nathan’s congregation or something, she’s allowing Father Nathan and Allocco to double team Mr. Videogame in the corner.
[Father Nathan has tagged Allocco in and both of them deliver several boots to Mr. Videogame's midsection before pulling him out of the corner to deliver a double suplex. Father Nathan slips out of the ring as Allocco paces around the ring, measuring Mr. Videogame as the fallen gamer makes his way back to his knees before Allocco rushes, jumping and delivering a DDT to Mr. Videogame before he could get both his legs under him. Allocco grins as he sits next to the downed Mr. Videogame a moment, then lazily rolls Mr. Videogame over and goes for the pin but Allocco took so much time, Mr. Videogame is able to kick out just after the referee got into position. Allocco gets back to his feet, delivering a few stomps to Mr. Videogame before charging and bouncing off the drops and delivering a hard running leg drop to Mr. Videogame then follows that up with a series of rapid elbow drops to Mr. Videogame's chest before raising his hands and turning to look at the various parts of the crowd, all of which are booing Allocco although the boos only seem to drive him on.]
Jack Gene – Adam Allocco with his every present cocky attitude might have cost his team a chance to pick up the win there.
Bill Hughes – See, whether you like it or not, whether you like the participants or not, people tend to elevate their game when they are in the ring with Valora. Allocco had so much potential, I really expected more from him, but tonight he is picking his game up against Valora and Mr. Videogame just like Father Nathan has.
Jack Gene – I will have to agree, Allocco has been rather mediocre since his return but the team of Father Nathan and Allocco seem to be on a purpose tonight.
Bill Hughes – I just can’t believe that Mr. Videogame is already letting Valora down in this match. He even came out and said he has to be at the top of his game when he teams with Valora and look at him flat on his back. Can you imagine if Valora actually found a tag partner that she didn’t have to carry the whole way?
Jack Gene – Considering the success she’s had teaming with both Adam Pyre and now Mr. Videogame, if she hasn’t found her perfect partner yet, I am not sure WMW tag teams would be able to handle or want to see something like that. Looks like Allocco is setting Mr. Videogame up for another high impact move.
[Adam Allocco is once measuring and stalking Mr. Videogame as he gets back to his feet, Allocco charges at Mr. Videogame and goes for a running Enziguri kick but Mr. Videogame ducks and grabs Allocco's ankle as it passes by, quickly countering it with an ankle lock. Allocco's eyes go wide as pain shoots up his leg and he quickly flails around trying to look for the ropes before he is able to gather his wits, lifting himself up and rolling through the ankle lock which sends Mr. Videogame flying towards the corner and crashing into the turnbuckles. Unfortunately for Allocco, the turnbuckles happened to be in the corner Valora was waiting at and she quickly tags herself in which brings a loud cheer from the crowd. As Allocco gets back to his feet, realizing what happened, Valora slingshots herself over the top rope and into a perfectly placed drop kick which sends Allocco falling backwards across the ring. Allocco wastes no time in scurrying to his corner to take in Father Nathan, causing Valora to smirk and pointing her finger at Allocco and dropping her thumb like a gun hammer before she turns her eyes to watch Father Nathan slip into the ring.]
Jack Gene – Seems Allocco thought better of tangling with Valora there and quickly tagged in Father Nathan. And it looks like he earned a target from Valora for that.
Bill Hughes – Once again, when given the chance to step up, Allocco takes the easy way out. And I really want to like this guy, he has the right attitude but he needs to learn when it’s time to step up to the plate. He better hope Father Nathan is able to hold his own against Valora cause she seems to have evil intentions in mind for Allocco now.
Jack Gene – Looks like Valora and Father Nathan are about to lock up here, each of them feeling out the other a bit before they actually do.
[Valora and Father Nathan are hesitantly moving in, cautiously grabbing and pulling back as they get a feel for the other before they go to lock up but Valora is one step ahead and drops into a split as Father Nathan goes to grab her and delivers an uppercut punch as she retracts her legs and uses them to lift herself. Father Nathan goes stagger back while Valora charges towards Father Nathan and deliveries a flying elbow then pushes Father Nathan back into the ropes. Valora continues her follow through, burring not one but a series of knees into Father Nathan's midsection before pulling him out and holding up her arm and twirling her finger in the air which brings cheers from the crowd again. Tucking Father Nathan's head under one arm, she starts to turn him so she has a lane to the ropes when Father Nathan uses his strength to straighten up and toss Valora off him, sending her crashing stomach first onto the mat. As Valora starts to pick herself off the mat, Father Nathan charges across the ring and connects with a huge boot to the side of Valora's head sending her sprawling across the mat. Nathan hesitates a moment, trying to decide whether or not to go for the cover before he picks Valora back up, this time Valora grabs a hold of Father Nathan around the neck and head and drops down to her knees, driving Father Nathan's neck and throat down onto her shoulder in a reverse stunner which straightens Father Nathan up for a moment before he falls backwards to the mat. Valora gets back to her feet just as Adam Allocco pulls Father Nathan out of the ring, giving his team a chance to recover.]
Jack Gene – Smart move by Allocco to sense his partner in real danger there and slow the pace down before Valora could really get herself worked up into a frenzy.
Bill Hughes – First intelligent thing he’s done all match, well take that back..the second since not staying in the ring with Valora could be considered intelligent.
Jack Gene – No she can’t be serious…Valora is eying both Allocco and Father Nathan on the outside, she looks to be measuring…
[Valora lifts her arm up in the air, making a shooting gun motion before running at the turnbuckle nearest Allocco and Father Nathan, hopping onto the middle then top turnbuckle and without missing a beat leaping off into a corkscrew moonsault and crashes down on both Allocco and Father Nathan on the outside. While Valora rolls herself off the tangled bodies, Mr. Videogame suddenly runs down the side the apron, climbing the ring post and jumping off the top rope into a splash on Allocco and Father Nathan as the pair start to try to get to their feet. Valora and Mr. Videogame exchange a high five before the Luna Pier starts a count on Mr. Videogame for him to get back to his corner and follows him with her eyes as he walks back around the ring. While the referee is busy with Mr. Videogame, Allocco slams Valora into the ring post from behind then quickly delivers a half nelson face buster on the outside before rolling first Valora and then Father Nathan into the ring and climbing up to his corner to stretch his hand out for the tag.]
Jack Gene - Good Lord! Valora with the Aztec Moonsault off the top rope onto the outside, and followed up by Mr. Videogame with a top rope splash of his own.
Bill Hughes – And Mr. Videogame showed why Valora is the one carrying the team, his actions allowed Allocco to get the advantage on Valora and now lets see who recovers first.
[Valora is starting to stir in the ring as Father Nathan gets back to his feet, clenching at his own head and looking at Valora then around the ring in confusion, giving Valora enough time to get back to her feet. Nathan looks over at Allocco and before he can move to make the tag, Valora charges him again and unloads a 'Taker like series of punches along Father Nathan's body who absorbs them and responds with his Fightin' Irish combo pushing Valora back towards the center of the ring where the pair exchange punches as the "Valora" chants compete with the Father Nathan's prayer chants from the crowd. Father Nathan slowly gets the better of the exchange and finishes off the exchange of blows with a massive boot to Valora's head, then following it up with a thunderous powerbomb. As Father Nathan looks down at Valora's prone body on the mat, he makes the sign of the cross and reaches down to pick Valora up, lifting her onto his shoulders and holding her there a moment, the crowd responding with loud chorus of the "Nighty Nighty" lullaby. Father Nathan pushes Valora up but before she leaves his shoulders, she shifts her weight and actually drives Father Nathan down to the mat and locks on a Crippler Crossface on the way down.]
Jack Gene – Valora countered the Go to Sleep…with a Crippler Crossface!?! Valora isn’t a submission wrestler…
Bill Hughes – I don’t think I have ever seen her use the Crippler Crossface, I didn’t even know she knew that submission hold.
Jack Gene – Looks like Valora has been working with someone to improve on her game to make her a more rounded wrestler.
Bill Hughes – Just goes to show you how serious Valora is about this move out of the Hardcore Division and how she is evolving as a wrestler, kudos to her and whoever is the person willing to put up with training someone that crazy, it would have to be for more than just money.
[Valora is pulling back hard on Father Nathan's chin and neck as Luna Pier crouches down to check for a submission from Father Nathan who grunts out no over and over, and slowly works to get his knees under him and uses his strength to pick Valora up and before she can break the hold turns it a forward Samoan roll and drives all his weight into Valora's chest and midsection then leaning backwards to turn it into a pin attempt. Luna Pier slips down and starts her count...1...2...Valora kicks out and with a growl reaches around Father Nathan and literally rips at his eyes. Father Nathan cries out in pain and brings his hands to his eyes, rolling away from Valora instinctively and just within reach of Adam Allocco who tags himself in and rushes towards Valora, trying to reach her before she can get to her feet but just before he arrives, Valora looks up and gives Allocco a feral grin and launches herself into the air, flipping over and delivering a pele kick to the top of Allocco's head, a kick that combined with his own momentum literally sweeps him off his feet.]
Jack Gene – Pele! Pele kick from Valora out of no where and Allocco is rocked within moments of his return to this match.
Bill Hughes – Allocco forgot that Valora has a large number of tricks in her arsenal and it cost him. Now we get to watch Valora go to work on Allocco, she’s already marked him once in this match. Both of them are back up to their feet.
[Allocco makes it his feet about the same time that Valora does and charges her once again, trying to grab her but Valora moves forward before Allocco can reach for the grab and turns it into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. But Valora doesn't just let Allocco fall off her knee, instead she wraps an arm around his neck and pulls him off her knee and drives his head into the mat with a DDT like maneuver. Turning her head to give Father Nathan a sweet almost innocent smile, Valora pulls Allocco up by the hair and then takes one of his arms and holds onto it as she climbs the corner to the top rope. Her eyes watching Allocco as she slowly takes measured steps out to the middle of the top rope and with a springing bounce, leaps off the rope and down towards Allocco. Valora keeps one hand holding Allocco's arm as the other drives the point of her elbow into his collar area at the same time her knee jerks up to strike Allocco under the chin, sending him spinning away to the mat as Valora lands only to roll through and hits her feet running towards the opposite corner.]
Jack Gene – Valora going Old School there on Allocco!
Bill Hughes – Looks like she switched it up to give it her own flare too, that looked like a devastating knee and elbow combo as well, Allocco still hasn’t moved from where he fell.
Jack Gene – Valora never stopped her motion on that either, she’s heading towards the corner…could this be another Aztec Moonsault by Valora?
[Valora completes her run across ring and hops onto the second then top turnbuckle, jumping backwards as she starts to twist and corkscrew through the air several times before spreading her arms and sailing through the air in a diving headbutt, crashing into Allocco's upper body and sending both of them writhing on the mat for several moments before Valora is able crawl over and drape herself over Allocco.]
Jack Gene – OH!MY!GOD! I don’t think I have ever seen anything like that, a corkscrew diving headbutt?
Bill Hughes – That was a beautiful move, a very high risk move but in this case it appears to have paid off.
[Valora hooks Allocco's leg as Luna Pier gets into position, Mr. Videogame springing boarding over the top rope and intercepting Father Nathan before he could make the save.]
Jack Gene – Mr. Videogame just made sure Father Nathan couldn’t break up the pin count, here we go…1….2….3.!! Valora and Mr. Videogame have just beat Father Nathan and Adam Allocco!
Bill Hughes – What an important win for them as well, not only did they complete the MTL 2 tournament undefeated, that win moves them to 14pts and sole possession of first place and locking Druscilla and Amariie into second place.
[The shot fades to a commercial.]

Damian Knight vs. Amariie
Written by: Damian Knight
[The shot opens back up at ringside.]
Jack Gene – Welcome back to Graveyard Shift 97. And what an MTL2 we just saw. My oh, my, Valora and Videogame look absolutely awesome out there, Bill. But, right now – we’re going into our next contest, and it’s our first First Annual Jack Reynolds Invitational match. And it should be a good one.
[The shot goes to Wayne Inkster in the ring.]
Wayne Inkster – The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is set for a 10-minute time limit. This match is in the first round of the First Annual Jack Reynolds Invitational, with the winner going to El Dia De Los Muertos 2009 to face Jack Reynolds for the Shoot Championship.
[The crowd cheers... again.]
Wayne Inkster – Introducing first…
["Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence blasts from the PA as Amariie makes her way down to the ring, followed by Druscilla and Hecate.]
Wayne Inkster – She is…, AMARIIE!!!!
Jack Gene – Big opportunity for Amariie. She’s been spending most of her time dedicated to MTL2. But, you’ve got to know that her only goal was to bounce back from her devastating Heartlands Championship match, and win another title.
[As Amariie reaches the ring, she slides in. Hecate and Druscilla remain on the outside. Just then, "You Found Me" by The Fray blasts from PA as Damian Knight makes his way down to the ring, followed by Zana Knight.]
Jack Gene – And here comes Damian Knight.
Bill Hughes – Oh, call him MOD. What does it matter. He is who he is, and I wish he’d just get over it. Start destroying again, MOD.
Jack Gene – He goes by Damian Knight, Bill. He’s turned the page in his life and he hopes to turn the page in his career here against Amariie.
[Damian Knight gets into the ring and Luna Pier checks him out. She walks back to the center of the ring and calls for the bell.]
Jack Gene – Referee, Luna Pier, calls for the bell….
Bill Hughes – Damian Knight goes to connect with a punch on Amariie, but she quickly ducks it and connects with a low drop kick to the knee of Damian. Damian goes down to one knee. Amariie now goes to the ropes and rebounds off attempting to drop kick Damian in his face, but The Business Man swats Amariie away like a fly. Damian Knight makes it back to his feet and begins to stomp away on Amariie. Damian Knight then stops and begins to taunt the crowd. The fans are booing Damian Knight out of the arena.
Jack Gene – Damian Knight now bringing Amariie to her feet, and pushes her into the nearest corner. Damian Knight beings to yell at Amariie stating, “Now, this is how you handle business.” Damian begins to drill the midsection of Amariie with multiple shoulder thrust. Amariie drops down in the corner holding her stomach. Referee, Luna Pier, backs Damian Knight out of the corner, so that she can check on Amariie.
Bill Hughes – Damian Knight allowing Amariie back to her feet. It takes Amariie a few seconds, but finally makes it back to her feet. Damian Knight quickly runs toward Amariie and clotheslines her back down to the mat. Damian then grabs Amariie and forces her back to her feet. Amariie seems to be on spaghetti legs. Damian hooks in a Suplex and lifts up Amariie onto the top turnbuckle. Damian Knight looks to have a Superplex in mind.
Jack Gene – Amariie quickly goes on the offense with jabs and slaps to the face of Damian as he climbs to the second rope. The Business Man begins to lose his balance, and Amariie out of no where takes both of her feet and kicks them into the face of Damian Knight. Damian falls backwards off the second rope, and falls to the mat. Amariie takes a second to catch her breathe, then begins to position herself on the top rope. Amariie jumps into the air, and then comes crashing down on Damian; connecting with a Flying Elbow Drop. Amariie quickly goes for the pin. Luna Pier gets into position. …1 …2
Bill Hughes – The Business Man kicks out as the match continues. Damian shakes off the cob webs, and is up to one knee trying to make it back to his feet, but out of no where Amariie measures Damian Knight as she connects with a running knee strike to the temple of Damian. Damian is stun from the knee strike, but does not go down. Amariie follows up the attack with a DDT sending Damian head first into the mat. Amariie with another pinfall. Luna Pier gets into position. …1 …2
Jack Gene – Damian Knight kicks out again at 2. Amariie begins to complain to the referee. Damian Knight makes it back to his feet, and turns Amariie around. Damian Knight goes for a Chokeslam, but Amariie rakes the eyes of The Business Man. Amariie goes to the ropes and on the rebound Damian plants a boot right into the mid section of Amariie.. Damian tries to get in a Powerbomb but Amariie realizes it and tries to pull away from Damian’s grip, but The Business Man pulls Amariie back into his grip and locks in the Business Minded Vice Grip. Amariie struggles and struggles but all seems lost. She then uses her last resort, the ropes. Amariie uses her athleticism to springboard off the ropes while Damian Knight still has the Business Minded Vice Grip locked in on her. The momentum from the springboard pushes Damian back and he loses his balance causing him to lose his grip on the Vice Grip, and almost to fall down to the mat. Amariie takes advantage of the situation and rolls Damian Knight up with a school girl rollup.
Bill Hughes – Amariie catches Damian off guard, and Luna Pier gets into position to count the pinfall. …1 …2 …3!
Jack Gene – Amariie has won this match.
[The ref raises her hand as the shot fades.]

Jack Looks Towards The Future, Part 1
[The shot opens up in the back where Jack Reynolds stands watching the previous match on the monitor. He smiles as he watches Amariie walk up the ramp.]
Jack Reynolds – I knew she’d win. Oooh… I can’t wait. I remember what she did to Shank and how horrible she made him feel. Man… I know how angry Shank was the next day. He wanted to… to smash her face in.]
[He swipes at the air with a powerful shadow-box-right hand. He shakes his head.]
Jack Reynolds – Well, I can’t wait. If she wins the tournament, I’m going to beat her down for Shank.
[The scene fades as he smiles and nods at the monitor.]

Dess vs. Mo’ Bad
Written by: Garvin
[The shot opens up inside of the ring.]
Wayne Inkster – The following contest is scheduled for one fall and set for a 10-minute time limit. This match is in the first round of the First Annual Jack Reynolds Invitational, with the winner going to El Dia De Los Muertos 2009 to face Jack Reynolds for the Shoot Championship.
[The crowd cheers... again.]
Wayne Inkster – Introducing first, from a Street called Bad Lands… weighing in at 235lbs, he is Mo’ Bad!
["Safe 2 Say" by Fat Joe blares up as the crowd immediately begins to boo. Mo' Bad, wearing his usual attire and wearing a doo rag makes his way down to the ring seemingly unphased by the fans booing and looking straight ahead into the ring.]
Jack Gene – Mo bad picked up a big win last week.
Bill Hughes – That wasn’t just a “big win”. He retired Sam Hershey. He put Sam Hershey out of his misery, and I for one am very glad for that.
Jack Gene – Well, yes – he did defeat Sam Hershey in what became his last match here in Wrestling Midwest. But, I think it’s a bit early to start touting this kid as the next big thing.
Bill Hughes – Who’s saying he will be? He is… Jack. We’ve heard it before how Jade, Kronin, Valora, they were the future of this company. Now, they are this company. It’s time we look at the next… Future of Wrestling Midwest. And that’s him, right there, in the ring. Mo’ Bad.
[Mo Bad's music fades away and "Cocky" by Kid Rock echoes throughout the arena. Dess pops out of the curtain, his fist in the air, much to the crowd's approval.]
Wayne Inkster – His opponent, hailing from Brooklyn, New York, weighing 257 pounds and is a WMW Hall of Famer… He is…. DESS!
[Dess steps into the ring, then hits the ring posts, posing for the crowd, as the flashbulbs pop around the building. He steps down as referee John Law approaches him to pat him down.]
Jack Gene – Dess is looking for a win here, and he needs it. He said he came back to WMW to get his 100th career WMW win. And, he’s a long way from it thus far in his return. He looks to take Mo’ Bad and make a state…
[Just then, Mo' Bad charges across the ring and immediately attacks him, sending a forearm into the side of his head, and begins to stomp him in the corner.]
Jack Gene – Oh, come on ref! The match hasn’t even started.
[As Dess falls to the mat, Law tries to pull Bad away from Dess, but Mo' Bad pushes forward and drops a double forearm smash to the back of his head. He throws lefts and rights at the back of his head. The referee quickly pulls him off and warns him. He walks back to Dess and checks on him.]
Jack Gene – Oh, now that was just uncalled for.
Bill Hughes – Uncalled for? Again – Jack – this is a fight. They aren’t coming down here to dance. They’re coming down here to win the match. And, if that means attacking someone before the bell officially wins, then so be it.
Jack Gene – It’s against the rules, that’s all I’m saying.
[John Law rings the bell. Bad pushes past the ref and walks back over to Dess, who tries to pull himself up on the ropes. He pulls him up by the head and slams a forearm into his back, causing him to stumble forward, arching backwards in pain. He turns Dess around and hits him with a right hand to the jaw. Dess stumbles a bit, but returns a right hand of his own, which gets the crowd (and Mo' Bad)'s attention. Bad backs up against the ropes, and Dess walks over, reaching out with another right hand. He lands it. He pushes Bad up against the ropes and goes to shoot him across the ring, but Bad reverses it and Dess runs across the ring. He bounces off the ropes and charges towards Bad, but Bad hits him with a drop toe hold. He immediately dives on top of Dess and locks on a headlock.]
Jack Gene – Mo’ Bad putting on a headlock.
Bill Hughes – He’s putting on a show, is what he’s doing.
Jack Gene – Well, this is a huge opportunity for both of these guys. As we heard earlier tonight, this match is for the first round of the First Annual Jack Reynolds Invitational, with the winner going to El Dia for a chance at the Shoot Champion. I mean, can you believe it? The Shoot Championship is back in Wrestling Midwest!
[Dess fights the hold, but Mo' Bad wrenches back keeping the advantage.]
Bill Hughes – Beautiful headlock by Mo’ Bad. He is taking Dess to task here tonight. And, really Jack – I don’t see how you could think differently. You want to talk about… who will become the next Shoot Champion? That guy, right there. Mo’ Bad.
[Dess tries to fight the hold off, but Mo' Bad continues to wrench it. Referee John Law looks for a tapout, but Dess disagrees that it's an option.]
Jack Gene – Well, the Shoot Championship is one of those titles that… everyone respects. I mean, consider this fact, it was brought into the organization by then fighter Garvin in 2003. It went from 2003 until it was retired in 2006. That’s 3 years, Bill.
Bill Hughes – So?
Jack Gene – But, Bill. In 3 years, that title only saw 7 Champions. 7.
Bill Hughes – Well, yeah – Jack. You’re talking Justin Evers, Corvus, Slayer, Guy Kinski. I mean, these are big name guys. And when they won the title, they kept it. True fighting Champions. Not these no bodies like Dess and… certainly not Jack Reynolds. It’s guys like Mo’ Bad. Real fighters.
Jack Gene – Dess is getting to his feet.
[Dess powers his way to his feet as Mo' Bad continues to wrench the head and neck. He loses a bit of leverage once Dess reaches his feet. Dess drives an elbow to his midsection. And another. This causes Bad to lose his grip. Dess tries to reach for the ropes, but Bad catches him from behind and slams him to the ground by his head and neck. He quickly goes for the pin. Law gets into position and starts the count. 1... 2...]
Jack Gene – And a kickout by Dess.
[Bad quickly gets to his feet as Dess rolls to his side and then up to his knees. Bad drops a boot to his back. As Dess falls forward, Bad drops another boot, this time connecting with his shoulder. He positions himself behind Dess as Dess tries to pull himself up to a knee.]
Jack Gene – And Dess just won’t stay down, Bill.
Bill Hughes – Well, he should. If he doesn’t want to stay down, Mo’ Bad’s gonna force him down.
[As Dess gets to his feet, Bad grabs him and slams him back down to the mat with a German Suplex. He quickly rushes over to him and hooks his leg for a pin. Law starts the count. 1... 2...]
Bill Hughes – No!
Jack Gene – Oh, so close! Dess once again kicks out.
[Bad quickly locks on an Octopus Hold stretching Dess' back and torso. Law looks for a tapout, but Dess fights it.]
Jack Gene – Mo’ Bad now targeting Dess’s back here. He hit him with that German suplex, and now has the Octopus Hold locked on.
Bill Hughes – He’s looking very strong out here. And it’s been that way from the get go.
Jack Gene – Well, that’s the one reason to start off with a cheap shot. You get past the opponents defenses and can start with the advantage.
Bill Hughes – …that’s the only reason to start off with a cheap shot, Jack. And it’s not cheap. It’s all a part of the game, here.
[Bad continues to stretch Dess' back out. He finally lets go and rolls him up for another pin. Law gets into position and counts. ...1 ...2 ...]
Jack Gene – And again, Dess is able to kick out.
[Bad stands up and argues with Law. He requests a faster count. He walks over to Dess and pulls Dess closer to the center of the ring by the leg. He drops an elbow to the inside of his right knee. He then tries to lock on a single leg crab lock, but Dess pushes him off with his left leg sending him into the ropes. Bad turns back around as Dess tries to get to his feet. He charges Dess, but Dess dodges a clothesline and punches Bad with a right hand, and another. He pushes Bad against the ropes and shoots him off. As Bad bounces back, Dess goes for a hip toss, but Bad blocks it, and then hits a swinging neckbreaker.]
Bill Hughes – Yes, yes, yes! That is what you like to see from these new guys. Whoa. He saw Dess make his move, and he knew exactly what he was going to do, and Dess does it, boom – neckbreaker. He’s got this match. This has got to be it.
[He sits very pleased with how the match has gone thus far. He reaches over and makes a casual pin. Law starts the count... 1... 2... ]
Jack Gene – OH! Again, kickout by Dess.
[Bad quickly stands up and lays a few boots on Dess. He pulls up Dess by the head and neck. As Dess reaches his feet, Bad reaches in with a side waistlock, and goes for a gutwrench suplex, but Dess counters. He gets out of the hold and kicks Bad in the midsection. He goes for a DDT, but Bad pushes out of it. Dess charges with a clothesline, but Bad ducks it and hits Dess with a boot to the midsection. He then goes for a guillotine choke.]
Bill Hughes – He’s going for the Badmission!
Jack Gene – But Dess is fighting it…
[Dess is able to break out of it. He grabs him with a double overhook, then a front waistlock, before slamming him to the mat with a belly to belly suplex.]
Dess – Belly to belly suplex!
Bill Hughes – Gah!
Dess – I don’t know if it was out of desperation or what, but you can see that the adrenaline is pumping now.
[Bad bounces up and charges Dess, but Dess ducks a clothesline attempt. They both turn towards one another and Dess hits him with a boot to the midsection. He locks on a double underhook.]
Jack Gene – He’s going for the Dessolation!
[He lifts up Mo' Bad and slams him down with a double underhook sitout piledriver.]
Bill Hughes – No!
Jack Gene – Dessolation! He’s got the pin! …here’s the count… 1…. 2… 3! It’s over!
[The ref calls for the bell, pulls up Dess and holds his hand up.]
Jack Gene – Oh my! What a win for the Cocky kid from the Bronx!
Bill Hughes - You mean, disappointing loss for Mo’ Bad.
Wayne Inkster – Your winner… and advancing to the next round of the First Annual Jack Reynolds Invitational… Dess!
[Law checks on Mo' Bad who lays on his back with his hands on his head. Dess slides out of the ring and begins to walk up the ramp.]
Jack Gene – Regardless of the outcome, Mo’ Bad looked very impressive out there. But, he just could not win one over the veteran. Dess is a former Great Lakes Champion, and is now on his way to becoming the next Shoot Champion. Stay tuned!
[The shot fades.]

Jack Looks Towards The Future, Part 2
[The shot opens up in the back where Jack Reynolds stands watching the previous match on the monitor. He smiles as he watches Dess walk up the ramp.]
Jack Reynolds – So… Jack vs. Dess… two. Without Umbrage. Hrm. That could be interesting. I was really expecting Mo’ Bad to win tonight, but – I wouldn’t mind once again stepping into the ring with one of the biggest superstars in WMW… ever. Yeah. That would be awesome.
[He looks off into the horizon with a smile. He takes a deep breath and looks back at the monitor.]
Jack Reynolds – But, he obviously doesn’t remember what I said… and what I did to him the last time we were in the ring together. His time… as Wrestling Midwest champion is over. It’s time for Jack Reynolds to take that ball and run with it.
[The scene fades as he smiles and nods at the monitor.]

Umbrage/AWS Man/Pyre vs Ryven/Kronin/Vyper
Written by: Ryven
[The shot opens up at ringside.]
Bill Hughes – And now for the match that I’ve been waiting for all night!
Jack Gene – Wait, what about all the matches so far?
Bill Hughes – Appetizer.
Jack Gene – Okay, and what about Druscilla and Valora later?
Bill Hughes – Dessert. And I hope it comes with chocolate syrup!
Jack Gene – Wow, that was sitcom-quality humor right there.
Bill Hughes – And we could top them off with some Hughes Family Peaches! Ha! I’m a genius!
Jack Gene – What my partner is trying to explain, ladies and gentlemen, is the next match is truly, truly epic. And we mean epic. For I believe the first time, the heavy hitters in the two main stables here in Wrestling Midwest, Pinnacle of Power and That Damn Awesome are about -
Bill Hughes – That Damn Awesome!
Jack Gene – That’s what I said.
Bill Hughes – You forgot the !.
Jack Gene – Wait, how did you say that?
Bill Hughes – You mean this? !. It’s easy. See? !.
Jack Gene – Yeah, wait…how…ah, nevermind. Moving along, That Damn Awesome and Pinnacle of Power have been dancing around eachother, but never really went head-to-head in a fashion quite like this. The big names in both groups, Champions, Former Champions, Hall-of-Famers, all here, tonight, in the same ring….Bill, I’m nursing a semi.
Bill Hughes – I can’t blame you, this is a pay-per-view quality match, and we’re about to see it here live on the Graveyard Shift! How about that? You don’t even have to torrent it tomorrow to avoid having to pay for it!
Wayne Inkster – Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is a 6-man, 2-team tag match schedule for one fall! Introducing first, with a combined weight of seven hundred, twenty three pounds, they are comprised of Scott Vyper, the current Ace Superior Champion Ryven, and one half of the Tag Team Champions Kronin – they are The Pinnacle of Power!!!!
["Machine Gun Messiah" by Sybreed blasts over the speakers as the crowd explodes to their feet. Signs litter the arena, "Marry Me Kronin!", "We are Legion!", "The Vyper has struck!", being waved by excited fans as Ryven, Kronin, and Vyper all walk out from backstage. Vyper strides down the ramp ignoring the crowd, Ryven pauses to look around before following, while Kroninstays behind, pumping them up to biblical heights.]
Bill Hughes – Wait, Scotty-boy’s the only one not holding any gold in that team, how come his music is used?
Jack Gene – Oh, you know, I don’t know. Hang on, I’ll find out what’s going on.
Bill Hughes – No, Jack, it was…you know, nevermind. You need to keep on this stuff, okay? We can’t go national if you keep screwing up like this.
Wayne Inkster – And their opponents, weighing in at a combined six hundred, forty four pounds, their members are Adam Pyre, Umbrage, and the other half of the Tag Team Champions and your Great Lakes Champion AWS Man (also known as Bill) – they are That Damn Awesome!!!!
[“3.14? by The Bloodhound Gang blasts from the PA as Umbrage, Adam Pyre, and AWS Man (also known as Bill) stride out from backstage, surveying the booing crowd. Umbrage grunts and walks down the ramp, Pyre looks around smiling, and AWS Man (also known as Bill) waves back to them, oblivious.]
Bill Hughes – Wow. It’s just surreal when you see them all together like this!
Jack Gene – I am totally and completely with you on that, Bill! Umbrage and Ryven are still in the midst of their hundred-years war, Vyper wants to destroy Pyre for what he did to Jade, and Kronin’s tag team partner is the leader of the group he’s facing tonight; AWS Man (also known as Bill)! And here they are – all of them – tonight! About to face off!
Bill Hughes – I know! Can you imagine having to transcribe the emotion, action, and dialogue that’s about to take place? It’d be damn near impossible!
Jack Gene – Whoever that poor soul would be, I would hope that he gets some recognition for his effort, it would truly be a Herculean task!
[Ding, ding]
Jack Gene – Slow going so far, the men are in their corners, but there seems to be some confusion on both sides of who is going to go first. Umbrage is in the corner, ignoring Pyre who’s screaming at him to move, and AWS Man (also known as Bill) seems to be having some kind of argument with Pen!
Bill Hughes – Meanwhile, the PoP is having issues as well, Vyper is apparently making the case that he wants to go first, but Ryven is putting up quite a fight! It seems he doesn’t want to waste any more time before leaping after Umbrage tonight!
[AWS Man (also known as Bill) finally gets Pyre to calm down, and they both take up positions ringside, letting Umbrage go first. Vyper and Kronin both talk Ryven back to outside the ropes, and things calm down enough for John Law to signal Vyper and Umbrage to begin. They move slowly, cautiously, one sizing up the other. Vyper grapples with Umbrage, pushing Umbrage into the ropes before following up with a knee strike to the ribs. Umbrage maintains the hold and pushes Vyper to the middle of the ring where he snaps Vyper into a headlock. Vyper pushes Umbrage forward into the ropes, sending the smaller man forward into the ropes. Umbrage staggers back, trying to gain his feet underneath him, as Vyper clamps down on him from behind and nails him with a german suplex to the cheers of the crowd.]
Jack Gene – Talk about claiming the momentum early!
Bill Hughes – And Kronin’s working the crowd, getting them into a frenzy! Man, it’s like crack to that guy.
[Vyper grabs Umbrage, pulling him to his feet and hitting him with a monster knee to the face, sending him back to the mat. Vyper looks to Pyre and AWS Man (also known as Bill), smiling before moving down to pull Umbrage up once more. Umbrage responds with a quick punch to Vyper's gut, then another, and another, sending the man reeling into the ropes. Umbrage uses the opportunity to climb to his feet, pressing the advantage by throwing Vyper into the ropes and slamming him with a monster drop-kick. Umbrage bounces to his feet, looks around at the crowd as they shift from cheers to boos. Pyre signals to Umbrage to tag him in, bouncing on the side and slamming his hand on the top turnbuckle. Umbrage shrugs his shoulders and whips Vyper into the corner, following up with a big body splash. Kronin jumps onto the first rope, yelling at Vyper to get out of there. John Law sees this, and moves to warn Kronin to stay in the ring. With Law's back turned, Pyre begins to choke Vyper as Umbrage and AWS Man (also known as Bill) beat on him.]
Jack Gene – Oh how is that fair? How can John Law let this happen?
Bill Hughes – I’m sorry Jack, do you have years of officiating experience that I’m not aware of?
Jack Gene – No, but -
Bill Hughes – Then shut your mouth and let the man do his job!
[John Law spins around, and Pyre and AWS Man (also known as Bill) abruptly stop. AWS Man (also known as Bill) looks down at the turnbuckle, as if inspecting it, with Pyre pointing off in the distance and talking back to a fan, as if giving directions. Umbrage looks at both of them, shaking his head as he slaps Pyre on the shoulder, telling him to get in the ring. Pyre laughs maniacally as he climbs to the top turnbuckle, Vyper against the corner, arms hanging over the top ropes. Pyre spins around, grabbing Vyper by the back of the head before tumbling forward to the mat, hitting Vyper with a monster Stone Cold Stunner as he flips over Vyper and slams into the mat. Vyper hits and falls to the canvas, completely prone. Umbrage rolls his eyes at Pyre's laughter, shouting for the man to pin Vyper. Pyre rolls up a leg, and Law slides in...1...2...Vyper kicks out.]
Jack Gene – What a move by Pyre, and it still couldn’t keep Scott Vyper down!
Bill Hughes – I bet it was spasm. Pyre slammed his head pretty hard there. We should cut him open just to be sure!
[Pyre growls in frustration as he bounces to his feet, bending over to pick up Vyper. He gets him standing, and begins to mock him by slapping him around like the Three Stooges. Pyre grabs Vyper's nose, then slaps his hand away, following it up with three quick slaps from opposite sides. Pyre begins to wave his hand out to distract, but Vyper clamps his hands around Pyre and falls to the mat, busting Pyre's chin on the top of Vyper's head. Both men fall backwards as the crowd roars in response. John Law looks down and begins to count.]
Jack Gene – Oh man! Who’s going to get up first!
Bill Hughes – Does it matter? The only two people anyone want to see go at it tonight haven’t been in yet! I want to see what the tag champs do to each other!
[John Law gets to five, and Vyper begins to stir. Kronin and Ryven are both on the ropes, leaning over, arms outstretched to Vyper, waving him on. Six. Vyper crawls closer, his arms giving out from underneath him as he tries to lift himself up. Seven. Vyper lunges forward, but falls short, his hand barely out of reach. Eight. Vyper summons his strength again and lunges, but is caught midair and dragged back by Pyre, who is shaking his head. The arena fills with boos as Pyre pulls Vyper's other leg and rolls backwards into a Boston Crab. Kronin screams in frustration as Ryven just stares across the ring toward Umbrage who is smiling. AWS Man (also known as Bill) looks completely uninterested as he checks his nails, and then inspects his shoes. Vyper claws his way to the side of the ring and manages to get a hand on the ropes, Law trying to force him to break the hold.]
Bill Hughes – I don’t know how much more of this Vyper should take! I mean, we get it, you’re not very good; you don’t have to keep hammering it home!
Jack Gene – Are you trying to tell me that you think he’s doing this on purpose?
Bill Hughes – Well, it can’t be an accident, can it? I mean, he’s just…..so….bad…..
[Pyre holds the Boston Crab for a few more seconds before John Law shoves him off. Pyre immediately gets to his feet, looking John Law in the eye threateningly. John Law backs away, scolding Pyre and explaining the rules as Vyper slowly makes his way down the ring. He grabs a hold of the ropes and pulls himself, reaching outward and tagging in Ryven to an explosion from the crowd. Pyre finishes with John Law and turns around, only to be struck to the side of the face from an elbow shot by Ryven, who follows it up by pulling the arm back and catching Pyre again with the same elbow. Pyre falls to the mat, holding his face. Ryven reaches down and grabs one of Pyre's spikes, pulling his head back. Ryven growls into Pyre's face and points towards Umbrage before throwing the man down and standing with his arms crossed. Kronin goes nuts, shouting to Ryven and screaming for him to finish Pyre off. Pyre scrambles back and heads towards his corner, Umbrage smiling and nodding, holding out his hand for the tag.]
Jack Gene – What the hell is Ryven doing?!
Bill Hughes – He’s going to give the crowd a show, that’s for sure! Umbrage is going to mop the floor with him!
[Pyre reaches the corner and tags in Umbrage, while Kronin throws his arms up in disbelief. Vyper rests against the ropes and tries to calm Kronin down, who's having none of it. Umbrage eases himself into the ring, looking across at Ryven while the crowd grows increasingly more anxious. Umbrage walks forward slowly, signally for Ryven to approach. Ryven continues to stand still, ignoring the goading, instead staring at Umbrage. Umbrage's smile begins to falter as he holds his arms out, questioning why Ryven wanted him if he's not going to fight. Umbrage breaks eye contact and turns back to Pyre, and Ryven explodes from the corner, catching Umbrage off-guard with a flying knee-kick. Umbrage slams into the mat and Ryven leaps on top, pounding fist after fist into him as the arena explodes. Umbrage tries to throw up a block, but Ryven gets ahold of the arm, twists it and locks it in place as he continues the assault with his free hand. Umbrage manages to get his leg free and twists, throwing his weight and catapulting him and Ryven through the ropes and outside the ring.]
Bill Hughes – Now this is a party!
Jack Gene – Oh I don’t know about this, Bill! Ryven may have more experience when it comes to Martial Arts, but now he’s in Umbrage’s territory!
Bill Hughes – I…I know, Jack. That’s why I said it was a party. I mean, dude. Pay attention.
[John Law moves to the corner, and begins the count as Umbrage raises himself up enough to drive a knee into Ryven's side. Pyre climbs down and beings to walk around, prompting Vyper to leap down and do the same. John Law leaves the ring and drops to the outside, stopping Pyre, and signaling for both Vyper and Pyre to return to their respective corners. Kronin moves around the corner to the other side of the ring, yelling at Pyre to get back to his corner. AWS Man (also known as Bill) pulls himself away from inspecting his bellybutton and shouts to Kronin from across the ring, getting his attention. Meanwhile Umbrage pulls Ryven up and whips him towards the corner. Pyre turns to leave, John Law takes a step back as Ryven hits Vyper, sending him tumbling backwards into Law. The impact pins John Law between Ryven and Pyre as all three men go down. Vyper, Pyre, and Ryven all look down at Law as he's out cold. They look up to one another.]
Bill Hughes – Oh. No. Way.
Jack Gene – This is about to get hectic!
Bill Hughes – All six men are looking around at one another! Listen the crowd! They know it too! There’s no rules now! These men can do whatever it is they want to each other!
[A wicked grin passes over Pyre's face as he shoves Ryven out of the way and leaps toward Vyper. Ryven staggers against the ring as Umbrage turns the corner, cracking his knuckles. Pyre and Vyper being to trade blow for blow, with Vyper ducking a two-handed hammer strike from Pyre, and throwing him into the ringside barrier. Umbrage and Ryven go blow for blow on the outside as the fans get whipped into a blood frenzy. AWS Man (also known as Bill) and Kronin, meanwhile, are standing on opposite sides of the ring as chaos ensues around them. They both enter at the same time, eyes never leaving the other. They hesitate for a moment history passing between them. Then as if a switch is flicked, they charge one another. AWS Man (also known as Bill) spears Kronin, sending him to the mat. He tries to follow up with a few punches, but Kronin fires back as they hit, rolling around the ring and trading blows. The crowd leaps to their feet, cheering maniacally.]
Bill Hughes – This is chaos! This isn’t a wrestling match anymore, it’s a street fight!
Jack Gene – John Law better get up soon or this will never end!
Bill Hughes – I’ll be right back -
Jack Gene – Where are you going?
Bill Hughes – I’m going to hit the ref with a chair, keep him down!
[Vyper lifts up Pyre into a fireman's carry, looking to hit him with Vyper Driver, but Umbrage notices and quickly takes out Vyper's leg, sending both men to the mat. Ryven gets ahold of Umbrage from behind and falls backwards, wrapping his legs and holding his arm, wrenching it backwards. Umbrage cries out in pain as Ryven pulls harder. Kronin finally gets an upper hand on AWS Man (also known as Bill), hitting him with repeated knees to the head as the crowd counts. Pyre turns and kicks Ryven in the back, forcing him to break the hold. Vyper gets behind Pyre and wraps him up, throwing him over his head in a monster german suplex, Pyre's head slamming against the thin mats outside the ring. Umbrage crawls away from Ryven, who's holding his lower back, and manages to get his hands on a chair. Vyper tries to reach for Ryven to pull him away, but flinches back as Umbrage slams the chair into Ryven. Umbrage turns and looks up to the ring, to see Kronin pounding on AWS Man (also known as Bill). He moves to enter, but Pyre is already sliding in, running towards Kronin and nailing him with a running drop kick. Vyper looks down to check on Ryven, who is barely conscious. Pyre gets up from the drop kick and looks outside the ring, and runs towards the ropes, laughing crazily. He leaps over the top rope in a body splash catching the chair that Umbrage tosses to him mid-air. He presses it against his body and slams into both Vyper and Ryven on the outside of the ring.]
Bill Hughes – Holy crap! Pyre just hit them like a suicide bomber!
Jack Gene – My God! I can’t believe that just happened!
[Pyre staggers to his feet, stumbling away as Umbrage laughs, pulling Ryven to his feet. Pyre gets up as well, holding his stomach but laughing like a hyena as he and Umbrage confer over what they're going to do to Ryven. Umbrage reminds Pyre about the night TDA formed, and they both chuckle as they begin to lead Ryven toward the announcer booth. Pyre feels a finger on his shoulder, turns and is met with a fist from Vyper who pulls him up into a fireman's carry, and slams him into the chair with the Vyper Driver. Vyper falls backwards next to Pyre, both men out cold.]
Bill Hughes – Two down! Four to go! That blue haired freak can really deliver sometimes!
Jack Gene – And AWS Man (also known as Bill) is signally for the Slap The Freak Around!
Bill Hughes – Really? No rules and he goes for that. Alright, I guess.
[AWS Man (also known as Bill) begins to hit Kronin with Slap The Freak Around, slapping with wild abandon. Umbrage pulls Ryven to the front of the announcer's table, spinning and nailing Ryven with a fist to the face. Ryven reels backwards but responds with one of his own. Kronin manages to get a purchase on AWS Man (also known as Bill)'s head and hits him with a headbutt, sending him backwards to the mat.]
Jack Gene – These two better get away from here, I don’t want to lose this table again!
Bill Hughes – I just hate the sound our headphones make when the audio feed cuts. It’s like a grating static sound.
[Kronin gets to his feet, pulling AWS Man (also known as Bill) up and going for a headlock, but AWS Man (also known as Bill) hits him with the Buzz Freakin' Saw. The crowd groans as Kronin cries out in pain. Fighting through the hold, Kronin gets a headlock and hits AWS Man (also known as Bill) with a quick DDT, breaking the hold. Kronin gets to his feet and pulls AWS Man (also known as Bill) up, kicking AWS Man (also known as Bill) in the gut and getting him in position for a powerbomb. AWS Man (also known as Bill) yells as he tries to counter, grabbing onto Kronin's legs and trying to launch him over his back. Kronin acts fast and locks his hands in, flipping himself over AWS Man (also known as Bill), and using the momentum to slam AWS Man (also known as Bill) into the mat.]
Jack Gene – Death by Metal! Kronin just hit his own tag partner with Death by Metal! I can’t believe this!
Bill Hughes – Oh, I think they’re partners only in name, Jack!
[Kronin gets to his feet and looks around, seeing Ryven and Umbrage trading blows on the outside. Umbrage shoves Ryven away and goes to climb into the ring to help AWS Man (also known as Bill), but Ryven knees Umbrage in the lower back, gets his arm out in front of his neck, pulls him back slightly and hits him with The Awakening through the announcer's table. Umbrage's head slams through the table, exploding into a shower of splinters. Ryven staggers to his feet and runs to the other side of the ring, picking up John Law and pushing him through the ropes. Law rolls in, comes to, and sees Kronin pinning AWS Man (also known as Bill).]
Bill Hughes – Oh no way! No way can this be how this match ends! It’s so underhanded!
Jack Gene – There’s nothing underhanded about how Kronin has taken out his own tag partner tonight! John Law is there for the pin! 1…2…3!!!! I can’t believe it! The Pinnacle of Power has beat That Damn Awesome!
[Ding, ding]
Jack Gene – Ryven has Vyper and is meeting Kronin ringside as they head back up the ramp! The crowd is absolutely loving this result!
Bill Hughes – Of course they are, the bunch of jerks! They have three giants of this company destroyed ringside! Well, along with our table….
Jack gene – I really wish they’d stop doing that. These things are hard to replace.
Wayne Inkster – Your winners, The Pinnacle of Power!!!!
Jack Gene – We saw a lot of grudges here tonight, Bill. Do you think any of them are over?
Bill Hughes – Not a chance. I have a feeling this is only the beginning between these two groups.
[The shot fades.]

Mo’s Obsession
[The camera goes backstage and we see Mo' Bad still in his wrestling attire walking up to Valora's dressing room with a bouquet of roses. He stops right outside and just looks at her nameplate on the door.]
Jack Gene – What the heck is Mo’ Bad doing?
[Bad smirks and lays the roses on the ground outside her door and he exits view of the camera. The shot fades.]

A Pre-match visit
[Valora is in her dressing room, working on pull ups, her musles bulging as she does so. In the background one of the Comedian's classic quotes plays.]
Dreiberg: “Protection from what?”
Comedian: “Are you kiddin me? From themselves.
Dreiberg: What happened to us? What happened to the American Dream?
Comedian: “The American Dream? It came true! You’re lookin’ at it!”
As the quote finishes, Valora drops to the ground and shakes her head. “Rorschach was right on Dreiberg… a flabby failure, whimpering in his basement… idealists like him hold the agenda back…”
[A knock on Valora's door can be heard.]
Valora stands up and raises an eyebrow. “Come on in, Hecate…”
Hecate opens the door and slips in, dressed in a short skirt, knee high leather boots and a crop top with a leather biker jacket over top. Closing the door and leaning against it a moment, tilting her head. “How did you know it was me?”
Valora looks back over her shoulder at Hecate. “Simple. You’re the only one who would visit me right now.”
Hecate smirks a bit and moves closer to Valora, “And is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
Valora replies, “That depends. What brings you here?”
Hecate smiles softly, “I came to see you before the match and wish you the best…and well…”
Valora tosses back to Hecate, “Question for you. Does Druscilla realize A) How much trouble she’s in and B) how perfect an example of humanity she is?”
Hecate pauses and gives a slight shrug, “She’s not stupid, she knows you have all the skill and tools to beat her…it shows in her digging into your past. And no I haven’t seen the file and didn’t ask to see it.” Hecate moves to stand directly in front of Valora. “As for the second, in her mind she is the elite of Humanity but I doubt she realizes it in the way you mean.”
Valora nods smirking. “Thats the big joke, isn’t it? It’s all a [bleep]ing joke…”
Hecate chuckles softly, “Well humanity are dim witted, easily frightened and for the most part cling to what they know. Not many break free of the chains placed on us by society”
Valora shakes her head. “Society didn’t do this to us. It’s human nature… You know why people like me so much?
Hecate grins, “Human nature makes people like you and I go out and fight day in and day out, makes us learn so many ways to hunt and kill, society tells us it’s wrong…that we should follow rules made up by power hungry despots. People like you cause they can feel the primal instincts again, live vicariously through you.”
Valora nods, “Pretty much…I’m the embodiment of human nature… I just show people what they really are…”
Hecate smiles, “In various ways all of us here do that, we live the lives they never could, be the people they dream of being…allow them a glimpse of all that society has buried and locked inside them…people like you..like me…we are neccessary to keep society running smoothly.”
Valora nods, “Perhaps. You came for more then just to wish me luck… what’s up Hecate?”
Hecate grins a bit, “I’m hunting.”
Valora raises her eyebrow. “For?”
Hecate slips a hand into the pocket of her jacket, pulling out something in a closed fist and grins at Valora a moment before stepping forward and reaching up with her empty hand, pulling Valora down to give her a quick kiss while she pushes the item into Valora’s hand. Breaking the kiss, she smirks a moment and turns to walk towards the door, looking over her shoulder. “Win tonight and you’ll get to see how I look as Silk Spectre or Silhouette later.”
Valora raises her eyes in surprise at the kiss then looks down at the object pressed into her hand. “Well. that should be interesting to see… wonder what your friend Druscilla will think about you, rooting for me…”
Hecate watches over her shoulder as Valora looks down at the yellow smiley face button with a drop of blood streaked on it, looking just like a Watchman novelty item but the blood isn’t under the protective seal of the button. “Most likely she will lecture me and tell me how I’m ruining myself and it will piss her off royally to find there is another thing she can’t control. Although she did tell me to be aggressive and not wait for you if I truly wanted this…but I think she expected me to use my ‘mystical’ abilities to make you more fitting for her company.”
Valora smirks, “If she only knew how alike her and I are in some areas…”
Hecate grins over her shoulder, “Deep inside she knows, that is why she so adamantly despises you.”
Valora smirks. “Well… Joke’s on her then… as she’s about to find out.”
Hecate nods her head slowly, “That she will, and it will be a real test to see how she responds.”
Valora nods. “Can’t wait.”
Hecate chuckles, opening the door and looking back at Valora one last time. “See you after the match…” before slipping through and closing the door behind her. Shortly after she leaves, Valora walks out of the room and notices the roses lying on the floor, tucked off to the side of her door and raises an eyebrow, lifting them up and looking them over.
Valora – “interesting…”
Valora tosses the roses inside her dressing room and makes her way towards the ring for the match…

Valora vs. Druscilla
Written by: Jade
[The shot opens up at ringside.]
Jack Gene – And now, we come to a match that will not only make the race for the number one contender to the Ace Superior title a bit clearer, but will also settle what has become an intensely personal situation and what many have called a split in the PoP. Valora vs Druscilla and Bill, I have to ask since you’re such a huge fan of both of these wrestlers, and because you should at least pretend to work, who do you think has the advantage here? Who’s your pick to win?
Bill Hughes – Well, Jack. I’ll be happy no matter who wins in this match, so it’s a win/win for me at this point. I think this match will be hard to call… Valora is already a legend here…as her partner said, she is performing at the ‘Goddess’ level. She says she is unbeatable, and you really have to believe it when you look back at the trail of destruction she has left in her time here. However, this match is not a Hardcore match, and Druscilla has shown flashes of dominance as well… This match is going to come down to who makes adjustments better on the fly. If Valora allows Druscilla to dictate how this match goes, Druscilla will crush her, but Valora is much better at making adjustments as the match progresses so I’ll give the slight edge to Valora.
[The lights in the arena darken, on the videotron screen, a dark Victorian house is shown is shown in picture with the word 'Druscilla' written across the shot(see Ryven's picture in the Merchandising section) , switching between the house, a middle ages style castle, and shots of the moon, wolves, and brief shots of sexy, female vampires feeding from people. Mist billows out from under the ring and the rampway as a funeral bell tolls throughout the arena. After the third toll, the bell goes right into 'System (Vampire Lestat)' by Korn. Druscilla then rises up through the floor. She looks around at the crowd as she is met with a chorus of boos and makes her way regally down the rampway to the ring, holding her chalice close to her. Once she reaches the ring, she climbs up onto the apron and pauses, looking out over the crowd once more before dipping her finger into her chalice and slowly, sensually licking the blood off her finger before drinking from her chalice and baring her fangs.]
Jack Gene – I swear this woman gets creepier everytime I see her…
Bill Hughes – I love her entrance. Best entrance in the WMW, in my opinion.
[The arena darkens a bit. After a few moments, 'Prayer' by Disturbed begins to play. The lights slowly grow to a dim lighting As soon as the light comes on a bit and Valora is seen standing staring intently at the ring, meanwhile, on the videotron, a clean blue Bandanna is shown with a gunshot ringing out and blood slowly forming on the bandanna as the name Valora appears and a quick cut shot of Valora laughing and smiling is shown. The video then moves to show some of her extreme moments in the ring from past matches, every few shots cutting back to Valora grinning sadistically and/or laughing. Valora slowly makes her way down the towards the ring and about halfway down the rampway, Valora hops twice and breaks into a dead sprint sliding into the ring, stopping her slide somewhere near the middle of the ring. She then makes her way to her corner and plops down into a seated position, rocking back and forth as she tugs at her hair.]
Jack Gene – (Sigh) She changed her theme song. Again. I hope she’s paying the sound guys to keep up with her.
Bill Hughes – Looks like last week was a one week thing, or maybe she’s just enjoying torturing you.
[Luna Pier looks over at both competitors and calls for the bell which rings and Druscilla charges forward, trying to get the early advantage but Valora springs to her feet and takes Druscilla down with a basic drop toe hold, slamming Druscilla face first into the middle ring turnbuckle. Druscilla gets to her feet and angrily swings a powerful punch towards Valora who ducks under it, comes up and slaps Druscilla across the face, grinning. Druscilla throws another powerful right hand and Valora again ducks it, coming up and slapping Druscilla, smiling even wider this time. Druscilla throws a quick left jab and catches Valora off guard, sending her staggering backwards. Druscilla charges forwards full speed and nails Valora with a powerful clothesline that sends Valora flying and turns her inside out as she lands hard on the mat. Druscilla smirks and stands there regally, playing to the crowd as they shower her in boos.]
Jack Gene – Valora starting off as she had the last few matches but Druscilla was one step ahead and took her down hard with that brutal clothesline.
Bill Hughes – She almost took Valora’s head off with that clothesline and Valora has already fought a match tonight.
[Druscilla pulls Valora to her feet and measures Valora before dropping her to the mat with a huge left hand. Druscilla then pulls Valora to her feet and whips her hard into the ropes, but Valora jumps onto the ropes, springboarding off towards Druscilla who tries for the Black Hole Slam but Valora counters it into a Tornado DDT. Valora hops up to her feet and runs to the turnbuckle, jumping up to the turnbuckle and leaping off into her Aztec moonsault, hitting Druscilla as she gets to her feet, taking her back to mat, where she goes for the cover. Luna Pier makes the count but right as she gets to 2, Druscilla sits up, pushing Valora off her.]
Jack Gene – Match is starting to pick up steam now, Valora trying to quicken the pace and went for the cover but still way too early to get the win.
Bill Hughes – Yeah, but Valora is trying to take control of this match… if Druscilla wants a chance to win, she needs to slow the pace down.
[Druscilla and Valora get to their feet and stare at each other a moment. Valora charges forward, jumping up to try for another high impact DDT but Druscilla catches her in mid air, hoisting her up into a torture rack position on her back and smirks as she runs forward before dropping down to a seated position, sending Valora bouncing off her shoulders and to the mat hard. Drusilla then bounces off the ropes and jumps into the air, slamming her knee into the forehead of Valora before going for the cover, placing her forearm across Valora's face as Pier counts, getting to 2 before Valora is able to kick out. Druscilla gets to her feet, growling as she picks Valora up, lifting her up into the air and holding Valora over her head as she runs forward and throws Valora sending her flying over the ropes and into the front row of the crowd.]
Jack Gene – Wow! Druscilla just threw Valora out of the ring and into the crowd!
Bill Hughes – Druscilla is one of the strongest wrestlers here in WMW and she just gave a great demonstration of that.
[A couple of fans help Valora to her feet and she climbs over the railing. Druscilla smirks and waits for Valora to get back in, which she does as Pier makes it to 6 on her 10 count. The two trade punches before Druscilla pokes at Valora with a thumb to the eye, lifting her up and dropping Valora gut first onto Druscilla's knee before going for the cover again, once more placing her forearm across Valora's face, Valora kicks out just a split second before the three count and Druscilla pounds the mat in frustration. Druscilla then grabs Valora by the throat and pulls her to her feet, lifting her into the air for a Chokeslam, but Valora kicks Druscilla in the gut and grabs her arm, placing Dru's arm behind Valora's back while bending Druscilla forward and rolling forward, slamming Druscilla's back and the back of her head into the mat as Valora rolls to her feet and bounces off the ropes, running towards Druscilla, who sits up Undertaker style, only to met with a dropkick to the face from Valora. Valora then jumps to her feet and hops up and down in place hyping herself up as the crowd cheers and Valora chants break out throughout the WMW Arena.]
Jack Gene – This match is starting to change momentum here, the fans feel it and are starting to get behind Valora, who is continuing to show us she is more then just a hardcore wrestler. I think I’m even more scared of Valora now…
Bill Hughes – Yeah. She doesn’t need a weapon to hurt and be a threat. She’s matching Druscilla move for move here and is really making a case to show she deserves the high rankings she’s been getting from EWTorch lately, which currently has her ranked #4 in the world, by the way.
[Valora climbs the ropes and makes the same arm gesture she made during her entrance before the match and then smiles widely as she lifts her right leg almost straight up, her foot over her head as she pauses a moment and drops from the top rope, moving her leg so that she drops in a split legged position, her leg hitting Druscilla in the chest.]
Jack Gene – What is she… Holy Crap! Did you see that?
Bill Hughes – Christ, that hurt me just watching it.
Jack Gene – Valora pulling off a move very similar to Christy Hemme’s Firecrotch Flying Guillotine Leg Drop there… amazing athletic ability there to get that kind of flexibility…
Bill Hughes – You’re probably the only person who doesn’t just call it the FFG..
[Valora gets up and paces around before bending over Druscilla and giving her the finger as she yells out. "You can't beat me!" The crowd yelling it along with her as she then bounces off the ropes and making her way towards Dru, slowing down as she reaches Dru's body, wiping her shoulder off before dropping her fist straight into Druscilla's forehead. She then goes right into the cover and Pier makes the count, getting to 2 before Druscilla kicks out, causing Valora to move up to her knees and sigh in frustration.]
Jack Gene – Valora follows the FFG up with a five knuckle shuffle but is still unable to put Druscilla away there. These two are really having a classic match, lemme ask you Bill.. who do you think Ryven would prefer to face out of these two?
Bill Hughes – Who cares? I just hope that smug, SOB gets his ass handed to him sooner rather then later….
[Valora pulls Druscilla to her feet but Druscilla grabs Valora and bends her forward, clubbing her back with a vicious blow before grabbing her head and slamming her right knee into Valora's face, followed by a left knee smash, followed by a right knee smash, before hopping up and driving both knees into Valora's face, sending Valora to the mat hard. Druscilla gets back to her feet and then pulls Valora up by the hair, looking around the arena as she holds Valora up and delivers mocking slaps and punches to the dazed Valora. Baring her fangs, Druscilla yells something at Valora. Druscilla delivers a monstrous right hook that is hard enough to rip Valora right out of Druscilla's grasp, leaving Druscilla holding some of Valora's hair which she makes a disguised face as she brushes the hair off her hands. As Valora staggers up to her knees, Druscilla looks down at Valora with a haughty smirk and pulls her back up once again, lifting Valora into an overhead military press holding Valora up there as she slowly walked around the ring and even going as far as to lift Valora up and down several times. Finally seemingly having toyed with Valora enough, Druscilla pushes her up and thrusting Valora's legs out and away, letting the Latino woman start to drop to the mat before catching and driving Valora down to the mat with an Impaler DDT.]
Jack Gene – Holy Hell! Looks like Valora awoke the sleeping beast there. Druscilla appears to be actually trying to kill Valora in the ring.
Bill Hughes – Druscilla is trying to make a point that Valora isn’t the only one who can evolve or elevate their game, that was a wicked combination of moves that ended with one deadly Impaler DDT.
[Druscilla casually rolls Valora over, who hasn't even twitched since the impact of the DDT and takes a moment to cross Valora's arms over her chest and grinning wide enough to show off her fangs, Druscilla pins Valora. Luna Pier gets into position and checks, but Valora is able to somehow get a shoulder up before Pier's hand hit the mat for three. Druscilla starts to argue with Luna Pier about the speed of the count, not believing that Valora could have kicked out of that. Druscilla growls as she punches the mat and gets back up to her feet, pulling Valora up by her hair then wrapping her arms around Valora's waist from behind, grinding her arms around Valora's ribs in a reverse bear hug, trying to squeeze the air out of Valora who responds by trying to pry Druscilla's arms apart. After squeezing down hard on Valora's ribs and abdomen for several minutes, Druscilla shifts her grip slightly and lifts Valora up, going for a German suplex, but Valora digs her nails into the nerve centers on Druscilla's wrists. Druscilla hisses and growls out, having to release her hold around Valora's waist and Valora counters by dropping straight down and grabbing a hold of Druscilla's head on the way down and delivering a stunner that sends Druscilla flying backwards to crash to the mat.]
Jack Gene – And just as quickly momentum has shifted again, but this time both women are down on the mat.
Bill Hughes – What an awesome counter to Druscilla’s German suplex. Neither woman may survive this match tonight.
Jack Gene – Luna Pier is up to 6 on her count, and Druscilla is up to her feet, followed moments later by Valora.
[Both Valora and Druscilla look a bit unsteady on their feet still, but they don't give the other a chance to catch their breath. The two women meet in the middle of the ring, Valora leading the way with a running European Uppercut that knocks Druscilla back a step but she responds quickly with a wicked short arm clothes line that levels Valora. Druscilla presses the advantage with hard boots to Valora's arms, face and torso, trying to drive her boot all the way through Valora. Pulling Valora up by her hair once again, Druscilla grins and runs her tongue over her fangs before grabbing Valora around the neck and lifting her up for a chokeslam, but Valora grabs a hold of Druscilla's wrist and swings her legs around to the other side of Druscilla's body, shifting the both of them enough that Valora's swinging weight pulls them down. Valora keeps a grip on Druscilla's arm and rolls through to grapevine her legs around Druscilla's arm and pulling back hard on it.]
Bill Hughes – What just happened…I was positive Druscilla was about to send Valora through the ring with a choke slam and now Valora has an armbar submission locked in? Where did she learn this stuff at?
Jack Gene – Watching the replay on our monitors, you can see Valora counting the choke slam and then rolling through as Druscilla went down to lock in the arm bar. Impressive display for someone who was toted as only being a Hardcore wrestler.
[Valora keeps the armbar locked in as Luna Pier checks for the submission but Druscilla rolls through and gets up, letting out a yell of strength as she powers Valora up into a powerbomb position even as Valora tries to maintain the armbar, before Druscilla runs forward and powerbombs Valora into the mat. Druscilla paces around before bending over and slapping Valora again and picking her up to her feet, leaving Valora standing there dazed as she grins and measures her before grabbing Valora and lifting her up onto her shoulders, trying for her Dark Sacrifices move but Valora counters, trying for a tornado DDT but Druscilla shrugs it off and Valora lands on her feet, off balance. Druscilla tries for her Power of the Punch but Valora ducks under the punch, dropping into a split legged position, hitting Druscilla with a right and left punch combination as she gets to her feet, Druscilla swings again, but Valora rolls through the attempt, coming up behind Druscilla, jumping to her feet. Druscilla turns around and Valora jumps into the air, nailing her with the Trouble in Paradise kick, sending Druscilla staggering backwards back onto the mat. Valora then follows it up by running to the turnbuckle, jumping up and leaping off, hitting the Aztec Moonsault on Druscilla, going right into the cover as Luna Pier drops down and makes the 3 count, leading to the bell ringing.]
Wayne Inkster – Ladies, and gentlemen, your winner, by pinfall… VALORA!!!!!
Jack Gene – And what a match, right down to the end it was back and forth, a real chess match between two great wrestlers but tonight, Valora was just a couple moves ahead of Druscilla and she comes out with the big win tonight in her debut outside the Hardcore Division…
Bill Hughes – I told you she’d win! And next she’s going to move on up and knock Ryven down a peg or two! It’ll be great!
Jack Gene – Great, huh… well – we’ll see, and we’ll see YOU next week. Have a great week everyone.
[The shot fades.]
