The Sault St. Marie Press Conference

[The shot opens up outside of the WMW Press Room of the WMW Arena. Sault St. Marie walks up to a podium as reporters sit in front of the podium. Camera shots are audible.]

Sault St. Marie - Hello everyone. Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Years. Obviously, we welcome the new year with a big show. Nothing like starting off the year with a bang, and this year - 2010 - it's with Blizzard. It's almost fitting considering how the weather has treated us for the last few weeks.

[He smiles.]

Sault St. Marie - Well, I'm obviously out here to make a few announcements as we head into the first supercard of the year. First of all, I want to welcome our new set of reporters, who have joined us representing the World Wrestling Alliance. We are very thankful that you are here and really look forward to working with you and the WWA in 2010. Blizzard is our first show under the WWA umbrella. That doesn't mean anything is changing, but just a categorical change.

[He looks around and smiles again.]

Sault St. Marie - Just like how things went in the AWA for the last 8 months, we plan on working hard and earning top billing week in and week out. It's just here in the WWA, the competition is a bit stronger. Well, except for Dream. We have experience beating them in the ratings before, so I don't see them as a huge threat in 2010. But who knows, things can change, right?

[He shares a small laugh with the reporters.]

Sault St. Marie - But, regardless, we're going to be doing a few different things this show. Oh, before I get too far a head of myself, I do want to make the announcement that there is a change in the card. Hell Rell vs. Mo' Bad has been postponed. That will most likely move to Graveyard Shift next Thursday. We're working with Mo' Bad on a new contract and, after working with him and his agent, we decided that it would be best to hold off this match until a later date. But, we plan on securing him to a deal, and all signs point to a positive outcome to our next conversation.

[He looks down at his notes before turning back to the reporters.]

Sault St. Marie - But, moving back to Blizzard. A few different things we're going to be doing. First of all, John Squires and Stephen Squires, we were really impressed with how they built up some of the matches for El Dia '09, that we'll asking them to once again walk the crowd through each matchup, give their take on what's been going on with the competitors involved, and even give some predictions. Just adding a bit more flavor, a bit more commentary to the mix. We received some good feedback from our fans and feel like this is a good move for everyone involved.

[He clears his throat and takes a sip from his water.]

Sault St. Marie - Another thing we'll be doing is replaying a few matches from 2009. 2009 was a big year for us. One of the things that WMW has been good at in it's existence is staying under the radar. Part of the decision to partner with Sports Time Ohio and Apex Wrestling, and which ultimately drove us to begin talks with the WWA was to see what type of feedback and reaction we'd get from our peers and our fans. And, obviously, I think WWA signing us was an exclamation point at the end of the statement that we are a great group. We've got a great group of competitors here, and the organization is just top notch. Especially with a city like Cleveland supporting us for as long as they have, and continue to do so. Another sign that we were in fact, not only showing up on people's radars, but really pushing ourselves to the forefront of the business, was the fact that many of the national media outlets were reporting our news, and highlighting our achievements. So, at Blizzard, we're going to take a look back at 2009, we're going to take a look at what exactly people have been saying about us, and go over what it means to be a part of the WWA and to be nominated for so many awards by EWTorch.com.

[He looks at his notes again.]

Sault St. Marie - And, we normally try to keep the word "stipulations" out of our "heavy use" dictionary. But, seeing as this is Blizzard, our first supercard of 2010, it's nice to have an opportunity to put something more than a title on the line. Now, we do have 3 big matches planned and all have these types of stipulations. The first being Hecate defending the Heartlands Championship against Audrie McLaughlin and Damien Knight. Then, Jade defending the Shoot Championship against both Amariie and Jack Reynolds, and both the Great Lakes Championship and the Ace Superior Championship on the line in a mega 7-person fight.

[He smiles as he looks around.]

Sault St. Marie - We've got some special stipulations on these matches. In brief, the Heartlands Championship match will involve the idea of sacrifices. Obviously, Hecate will be sacrificing the title if she loses. Damien Knight has offered an additional $10,000 to take part in this match, a part from his $10,000 campaign at the end of the 2009. And Audrie McLaughlin will have her contract on the line. Money, Success and a Career, all on the line in this one. Unlike most "sacrifice" matches, both losers in this one will be forced to sacrifice. So, if Hecate can retain, Knight will lose his $10k and Audrie McLaughlin will lose her roster status.

[He looks at his notes.]

Sault St. Marie - The Shoot Championship is no different. Because of the partnership with the World Wrestling Alliance, it is important to not sit on old competition, but push for new competition. The Shoot Championship is the title based on tradition and honor. But, it would be dishonorable for us, as an organization, to keep pushing the same matches show after show. The Shoot Championship match at Blizzard 2010 will be held under gauntlet rules. Jack Reynolds and Amariie Maerthos will begin the match. When one of them is eliminated, the remaining competitor will then face off against Jade to determine the undisputed Shoot Champion. The person who is eliminated in the first part of the contest will not only lose their shot at regaining the title at Blizzard 2010, but will be banned from competing for the Shoot Championship again until 2011.

[He looks at his notes again as he takes a drink of water.]

Sault St. Marie - The Great Lakes and Ace Superior match will be in a very special match we're calling the "Frostbite Brawl". It's a multiple person match, obviously Kronin and Valora, defending their titles against Druscilla, Father Nathan, Ryven, AWS Man and Adam Pyre. You need to score a pinfall or submission to be eligible to climb the ladder and remove a briefcase representing one of the two titles. Person pinned or submitting will be sent to a penalty box for 2 minutes. The match will end when both titles have been claimed, at which point the briefcases will be opened and we'll find out who the GLC and ASC holders are.

[The scene fades.]

Opening Commentary

Image
[The shot switches to ringside, where Jack Gene and Bill Hughes sit, dressed in their best commenting attire, ready to call tonight's action.]

Jack Gene - And welcome everyone to 2010! This is Wrestling Midwest Blizzard!

[At that, the explosions rock the arena from the in-house fireworks display. The fans get on their feet and cheer.]

Jack Gene - We are here live from the WMW Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and we are here to welcome in the new year. My name is Jack Gene and I sit alongside Bill Hughes, and Bill, what a year 2009 was.

Bill Hughes - It definitely was a good year, but it's time to move forward into 2010, Jack. I mean, you look at what we accomplished last year - and big things are starting in 2010. That's for sure.

Jack Gene - And tonight, as you've heard from Sault St. Marie at yesterday's press conference, which we replayed at the beginning of the broadcast, every single Championship is on the line. It is quite possible we that new Champions will also walk into 2010 here tonight. Coming up in the first contest, we've got the 3-way between Damien Knight, Audrie McLaughlin and Hecate as they fight for the Heartlands Championship. Obviously, there is a lot of history between Hecate and Audrie. Pretty much, since Audrie's arrival here, she has vowed to beat Hecate for that title and tonight... well, it looks like it quite possibly could be her last shot.

Bill Hughes - Yeah, if she loses, she's gone from WMW. It's a shame that it came to this, as Audrie is a good fighter. But, she's putting it all on the line here tonight.

Jack Gene - Well, let's take you back. El Dia '09. Hecate vs. Audrie McLaughlin. We'll show you the match that really defined this feud.

El Dia '09 Replay: Hecate vs. Audrie McLaughlin

Written by: Garvin

Wayne Inkster - The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Heartlands Division Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from San Francisco, California. She weights in tonight at 170lbs and stands 5' 10" tall, she is the San Francisco Shooter....AUDRIE 'THE BUTCHER" MCLAUGHLIN!!!

[The lights go out as "When The Storm Comes," by Blood For Blood hits and a single spot light shines down on the entrance ramp. Coming through the curtain, taped fists clenched, is Audrie McLaughlin. The black hood from her jacket keeps her face hidden as she makes her way down to the ring, shouldering past any fans reaching out to her. She moves up the steps and wipes her feet before entering the ring. She stands in the center of the ring and throws back her hood, making a cut throat motion.]

Jack Gene - Audrie McLaughlin has promised to win here tonight...no she's guaranteed that she will beat Hecate tonight.

Bill Hughes - Audrie is confident and cocky, but she might already be looking past Hecate to the shoot championship which could come back and cost her in this match.

Jack Gene - And with her promise that this would be the last time she was seen if she lost tonight, that puts alot of pressure on Audrie.

Bill Hughes - That was a very risky thing to promise, it hasn't worked out very well for others here. Maybe Audrie will be the one to break that streak.

Wayne Inkster - And currently making her way to the ring, hailing from Delphi, Greece and is the current reigning Heartlands Division Champion. She weighs in tonight at 158lbs and stands 5' 10" tall, she is a member of the Daughters of Darkness, the Dark Priestess herself......HECATE!!!

[The arena suddenly goes black as the opening cords to the "Dance of Curse from the Escaflowne soundtrack" starts to play through the arena as a single spot light shines down on a figure at the top of the entry ramp completely concealed by a full red cloak. The figure remains still for several moments as the song plays through the arena until it reaches a crescendo in the music, the figure then exploding into motion, tossing the cloak off and lifting one hand to the sky and looking up for a moment before dropping it's gaze to look at the wrestler in the ring. Dressed in gold and red, Hecate looks much like an ancient Greek with her red hot pants, gold top with a design like a Greek warrior's breastplate on it. On her arms she wears fingerless black and gold gloves, designed to look like bracers and her wrestling boots have been designed to look like leg greaves from the front and Hecate has applied warriors battle paint to her face for this match.]

Jack Gene - She changed her music again, she's going through as many theme songs as Valora is.

Bill Hughes - Well the two of them do hang out alot and train together, perhaps they are rubbing off on each other...I would pay to see that.

Jack Gene - Hecate is looking to reverse her recent luck against Audrie, so far in both confrontations, Hecate has come up short against Audrie.

Bill Hughes - She looks to be more focused that the last singles match these two had. This could turn into a very brutal match very quickly.

[Hecate starts to make her way down to the ring as the lights come back on, pausing about half way down the ramp and letting out a battle cry and pumping her fist in the air while Audrie paces back and forth in the ring with her eyes locked on Hecate. The crowd very mixed, some cheering for Audrie, some for Hecate but most seem to be booing both of the women as Hecate climbs into the ring. Referee Luna Pier making sure Audrie stays in her corner as Hecate climbs between the ropes and moves over to the center of the ring and kneels down on one knee, bowing her head a moment in a prayer before jumping up to both feet with another battle cry and moving to her corner. Both women come to the center of the ring where Luna Pier shows the Heartlands Belt to both wrestlers then lifts it above her head before one of the ring side attendants takes the belt out of the ring. When Luna Pier finishes going over the match instructions with both women, Hecate extends her hand towards Audrie who bats it aside and just glares at Hecate before Luna Pier sends both women back to their corners.]

Jack Gene - Wow! Hecate extended her hand in a pre-match gesture and Audrie just batted it away, Audrie certainly is setting the tone for this match even before it gets started.

Bill Hughes - Audrie said she didn't like Hecate at all, and has no intention of giving Hecate any respect it seems.

Jack Gene - What game plans do you think these two have going into the match, Audrie seems intent on showing she's a technical wrestler as well.

Bill Hughes - She might be, but might be better sticking with her brutal style that brought her to the match. Hecate doesn't have hard core experience and Audrie's already shown she can beat Hecate with that style.

Jack Gene - You don't think that Valora would have helped Hecate in that area?

Bill Hughes - Hardcore isn't something you can really teach a person, either they have that in them or they don't. Hecate is tough, no doubt about that and she can come at you with different styles, but the brutal hard core mentality is just not something she's used to. A grounded match favors Hecate a bit, but Audrie does have enough experience to keep up with Hecate long enough to overpower Hecate and put the champion away with her brutal butcher style.

Jack Gene - So you're predicting Audrie will win this match then. I can't believe that we actually agree with a pre-match prediction for once. Audrie seems to have Hecate's number and I think it will continue tonight. And Luna Pier is calling for the bell.

(Ring, ring, ring)

[Hecate and Audrie slowly move towards the center of the ring, Hecate lashing out with a quick low kick aimed at Audrie's leg but Audrie is able to dodge out of the way before the kick lands. Audrie backs up a moment and the two move towards each other again, this time Hecate feints the low leg kick but actually leaps forward and connects with an elbow to the side of Audrie's head, knocking Audrie back a few steps where she rubs the side of her face while glaring at Hecate. Finally the two lock up in the middle of the ring, jockeying back and forth for the advantage with neither one getting the edge for several moments but then Audrie gets the upper hand and breaks the lockup with a hammerlock on Hecate's left arm. Hecate twists to her right, sending the point of her elbow into Audrie's ribs over and over until Audrie breaks the hammerlock by yanking Hecate to the mat by the hair, earning Audrie a warning from Luna Pier which Audrie simply ignores.]

Jack Gene - Audrie once again showing her contempt not only for Hecate but perhaps for the WMW with her complete disregard of Luna Pier's warning after using the hair to take Hecate to the mat.

Bill Hughes - Expect to see alot more of that during this match. Audrie looks like she plans to do everything she can to belittle and ruin Hecate before destroying her. Just like she is doing now by standing on Hecate's hair and pulling her up by the arms.

[Audrie sports a sadistic smile as she pulls up on Hecate's arms, bringing a growl of pain from the prone woman, shoving downwards as she steps back at the count of four and a half, slamming the back of Hecate's head off the mat. As Hecate grabs the back of her head, Audrie runs and bounces off the ropes to deliver a running knee to the side of Hecate's head as the Champion start to get up, sending Hecate back down to the mat. As Hecate rolls over face down on the mat, Audrie steps up behind Hecate and grabs both her arms and lifts her up and placing one foot between Hecate's shoulder blades. Audrie looks around with a condescending look before lifting the foot off Hecate's shoulder blade's, kicking downwards to drive Hecate face first into the mat as Audrie releases her arms. Audrie continues her assault on the champion by lifting Hecate's legs up and grabbing the champion around the waist in a wheelbarrow hold, pausing a moment to smirk at the dazed champion, flipping her over backwards and slamming the back of Hecate's head and her shoulders into the mat with a wheelbarrow suplex. Audrie bridges up as she keeps her arms locked around Hecate's waist, turning the suplex into a pin attempt.]

Jack Gene - Good Lord! Audrie may be trying to knock Hecate out or give the champion a concussion. The Butcher is focusing on Hecate's head and neck and here is the first pin attempt of the match...Luna Pier in position...1...2...Hecate rolled her shoulder and broke up the pin attempt.

Bill Hughes - Nice series of high impact moves by Audrie there, but it's too early in the match to put Hecate away. Audrie needs to keep up with this style and keep wearing Hecate down.

[Audrie looks down at Hecate a moment before running and springing off the ropes, rushing back towards Hecate to connect with a short snap leg drop right across the back of Hecate's head. Rising to one knee, Audrie puts the shin of her leg across the back of Hecate's neck, grinding her head into the mat as Audrie paintbrushes the back of her head and yells down at Hecate as the champion thrashes underneath that leg. The Mexican fans are starting to cheer more for Hecate in response to Audrie's actions although Audrie is still getting a fair share of the cheers. Finally lifting off the champion, Audrie reaches down and pulls Hecate up by her hair, bending the champion over backwards and walks in place, spinning in a circle before drawing her thumb across her throat but before Audrie can lock in her Sweet Dreams submission hold, Hecate kicks off the mat and flips upwards to smash a knee into Audrie's face. The momentum of the flip and the impact of the knee sends Audrie down to the mat with Hecate landing on top of her before rolling off to the side.]

Jack Gene - The first real signs of life from the Champion, so far this match has been pretty much all Audrie, but that counter to the Sweet Dreams might have knocked some of Audrie's teeth out. Luna Pier is starting the ten count on both wrestlers.

Bill Hughes - That was a wicked knee strike by Hecate but lets see if she can follow it up with more offense. So far she's been about as effective as a blow up doll.

[Audrie gets to her knees as Hecate starts to get up, sliding over and clamping her arms around Hecate's head in a side head lock. Hecate grabs Audrie around the waste and turn, pulling Audrie over onto her back and shoulders but Audrie uses her legs to help roll back before Luna Pier can even get a one count. Hecate rolls her body once again, pressing Audrie's shoulders to the mat and gets a one count before Audrie is able roll back up to a sitting position. Audrie makes the grinding motion as she cinches down harder on the head lock but Hecate manages to get one knee under her and slips her head free while at the same time grabbing one of Audrie's arms and pulling it up into a hammer lock.]

Jack Gene - Audrie mixing up her attack, looks like she is going to try and keep Hecate grounded after that first overpowering assault.

Bill Hughes - I know Audrie holds Hecate and seemingly the rest of the WMW in utter contempt, but trying to out wrestle in a ground or mat match is like Valora trying to make Ryven tap out to a submission move. I think Audrie may be letting her contempt get the better of her judgment here.

[Audrie twists to the right then back to the left, trying to seek leverage to break the hammer lock, but Hecate just yanks up higher on the arm. Grimacing in pain from the hold, Audrie reaches down and pulls Hecate's leg up between her legs, sending the Champion off balance. As the pair falls to the mat, Audrie locks on a knee bar, trying to hyper-extend Hecate's knee. Hecate immediately counters by using her other leg, hooking it over her ankle and pulling back, bending her knee as she sits up and wraps Audrie's head under her arm, turning the knee bar into a headlock. Audrie release her attempt on the knee bar and as both wrestlers rise to their feet, wraps her arms around Hecate's waist and flips Hecate over her head in a release overhand belly to belly suplex.]

Bill Hughes - See that is what Audrie needs to stick with, the power and high impact moves. Hecate just has too many tricks to try to fight her in a ground or mat game.

Jack Gene - Hecate was able to almost instantly counter that knee bar attempt. Audrie will need to weaken Hecate alot more if she wants the ground game to be successful.

[As Hecate gets back to her feet, slowly after that suplex, Audrie moves up to hook her arms around Hecate's waist from behind this time but before Audrie can lift Hecate up into the suplex, Hecate locks her foot around Audrie's leg to block the attempt. Audrie goes for a second attempt at the belly to back suplex, but Hecate is able to block it again. Hecate then drops forward into a roll, using Audrie's position to off balance the challenger and as a result send Audrie stumbling ahead of her and through the ropes to the outside. Hecate wastes no time in using the ropes to spring board over the top and down onto Audrie in a splash which brings the loudest cheer from the audience so far this match. Referee Luna Pier warns both wrestlers to get back into the ring as the two of them slowly untangle themselves and get back to their feet.]

Jack Gene - And just like that Hecate is able to switch gears with that springboard splash over the top rope.

Bill Hughes - Hecate will need to keep mixing it up, keep Audrie off her toes but outside the ring favors Audrie more than it does Hecate.

[Hecate moves to get back into the ring, but Audrie stops her, pulling the champion back by the waistband of her hot pants and buries an elbow in the small of Hecate's back. Keeping a hold of Hecate's pants, Audrie delivers several more elbow shots to Hecate's lower back and spine before spinning Hecate around, grabbing one arm and whipping her across to crash head first into the ring steps. Quickly rolling in and out of the ring to break Luna Pier's ten count, Audrie stalks over to Hecate as the champion lays curled against the steel steps. Pulling Hecate up by her hair, Audrie grins as holds up Hecate's head to show the blood flowing down her face. Audrie looks down and actually spits in Hecate's face before going to whip her into the ring steps on the other side, but Hecate reverses it and sends Audrie face first into the ring steps. Wiping the blood from her eyes, Hecate rolls into the ring and moves up to the rope, gripping it with both hands and watching as Audrie starts to get back to her feet. Despite Luna Pier's warnings, Hecate uses the top rope to springboard over one more time, this time driving Audrie face first into the thin mats at ringside with a Hades Bound, bringing a huge cheer from the crowd.]

Jack Gene - OH!MY!GOD! Hecate just jumped over the top rope and connected with a Hades Bound on the outside! Neither woman is moving!

Bill Hughes - And these moronic dirty spics are eating it up. Don't they know that move would have hurt Hecate just as much as it did Audrie.

Jack Gene - Luna Pier is starting her ten count...Good!Lord! Both Hecate and Audrie are busted wide open now.

Bill Hughes - I told you this match would turn brutal, both women are starting to stir, but how much damage did Hecate do not only to Audrie with that move, but to herself.

[Luna is standing by the ropes, looking down on the bloody faces of Audrie and Hecate as the two fighters start pull themselves together....1....2....Hecate is holding her back as she uses the ring apron to pull herself up to one knee while Audrie rolls over onto all fours and puts one hand on the steel steps....3....4....Audrie is uses the steel steps to push herself upright, wiping the blood from her eyes as Hecate stumbles back against the opposite steel steps....5....6....with a growl, Audrie charges towards Hecate, looking to spear her into the ring post or the steps, but Hecate rolls into the ring and Audrie crashes hard into the steel steps. Hecate slips back out of the ring and pulls Audrie up to her feet, rolling the challenger into the ring before sliding in after her. Pulling Audrie to her feet, Hecate bends the challenger over and wraps her arms around Audrie's neck and then gripping her tights, lifting Audrie up and laying her feet over the top rope, walking backwards until just Audrie's feet are on the ropes. Lifting her arm and howling out a battle cry which seems to fire the fans up again, Hecate then drives her forearm into Audrie's shoulder blades while falling backwards to the mat, driving Audrie's bloody face into the mat. Hecate quickly rolls Audrie over, covering her for a pinfall. Luna Pier drops into position...1...2....Audrie manages to get her leg on the rope to break up the pinfall attempt.]

Jack Gene - Audrie tried to spear Hecate into the steel steps and it certainly backfired as Hecate was able to get out of the way. I'm not sure how Audrie managed to get her foot on the rope but she did after that brutal DDT move from Hecate.

Bill Hughes - Both women have been beaten up, are bloody messes, I am not sure how much more punishment either of these women can take. Hecate may have been right when she said the only way Audrie would get the title was to pry it out of her lifeless hands.

Jack Gene - What a minute, is that Mo' Bad at the top of the entrance ramp? What is he doing here...

Bill Hughes - Looks like he came out to watch the match, remember Hecate did distract him at Graveyard Shift 100 which lead to Amariie being victorious.

[Mo' Bad starts to walk down to ringside, he's wearing a Valora t-shirt and has one of her bandanna's on his head, strolling around the ring and jawing with some of the fans, most likely trying to push his Mo' Bad restructuring plan on them which they respond with by booing Mo' Bad loudly. Neither Audrie or Hecate seem to notice Mo' bad at ringside as Hecate pulls Audrie to her feet, hooking her up for another DDT, but this time hooking her arms under Audrie's knees and with a slight push off, flips over, bringing Audrie with her and driving the challengers head into the mat. Hecate rolls Audrie over and goes for another pinfall but Luna Pier isn't around to make the count.]

Jack Gene - Good!Lord!Almighty! That has to be it! Hecate just connected with her flip DDT on Audrie who looks to be completely out after that move. But where it the referee!?!

Bill Hughes - Luna Pier is busy with Mo' Bad, it looks like he is trying to point something out to her.

Jack Gene - Hecate just realizes that Luna is not there to make the count, she's up and moving over to the side of the ring where Luna and Mo' Bad are. Hecate is pointing back towards where Audrie is still down and making a pin count motion but Luna is pointing to Mo' Bad.

[As Luna and Hecate confront Mo' Bad, Audrie gets to her hands and knees and crawls over to the corner, pulling herself up and starts to take the pad off the top turnbuckle. Mo' Bad, meanwhile takes the Valora bandanna off and wipes himself down with it before balling it up and throwing it at Hecate who looks ready to come through the ropes, blood dripping all down her face and onto her ring attire. Hecate stops and with a grin on her face, bends down and picks the bandanna up, rolling it out and tying it around her forehead, the bandanna quickly getting soaked with Hecate's blood as Luna gives Mo' Bad one look and makes the over exaggerated ejection motion, sending Mo' Bad to the back amid cheers from the Mexican fans for both the ejection and Hecate donning Valora's bandanna. On the other side of the ring, Audrie finishes pulling the turnbuckle padding off and tosses it into the fans before pushing herself out of the corner.]

Jack Gene - The fans are going wild as Hecate puts on the Valora bandanna, consummating it with her own blood. Mo' Bad's attempt to get under Hecate's skin might have backfired.

Bill Hughes - Maybe not, it did distract both Hecate and Luna Pier, allowing Audrie to get the padding off the top turnbuckle, that could play a critical roll later in this match.

Jack Gene - Yeah what a way to potentially cheapen what has been a great match between these two so far.

[As security staff escorts Mo' Bad to the back after his ejection, Hecate turns back towards Audrie only get taken down by a running spear from the challenger. Audrie, her own face a crimson mask of  fresh and dried blood, gets in the mount position and starts raining punches and elbows down on Hecate but the Greek wrestler quickly counters by bringing her legs up and around Audrie's arms, using them to pull Audrie down to the mat. The champion grabs a hold of one of Audrie's legs, wrapping her arm around the Achilles tendon and pressing down on the knee with her other hand. Audrie grimaces and growls out in pain before she is able to roll herself over and grab the ropes to break the hold.]

Jack Gene - What the hell, Hecate with what appeared to be a variation of an ankle lock that Audrie was very quick to find a way out of.

Bill Hughes - That is a Pankration Achilles leg lock, can very easily break a leg or rupture the Achilles tendon, Audrie was smart to get out of that hold quickly.

Jack Gene - Both wrestlers look like that are running on fumes though right now, Hecate's submission skills can really make the difference at this point.

Bill Hughes - Both of them need to start thinking about serious putting this match away. Audrie seems hesitant to go with her tried and true FYL.

Jack Gene - She must be figuring Amariie shared the counter to that with Hecate, which means Audrie must be thinking submission to beat Hecate at her own game or she has something else in store for the champion.

Bill Hughes - Audrie tried for the Sweet Dreams earlier in the match, so look for her to go for that again. Hecate, this is where she really is dangerous for she really does like to switch things up and she has moves that could really end it fast

Jack Gene - Like she did with Dess a few weeks ago. Audrie just ducked a spinning roundhouse kick by Hecate and connected with jumping Enziguri to the back of Hecate's head!

[Audrie wipes some more blood from her face, flicking it down onto the back and hair of Hecate before pulling the champion up to her feet, locking both of Hecate's arms in a double under hook and grinning sadistically as she starts into her series of knee strikes to the seemingly defenseless Hecate. After the first couple knee strikes, Hecate hops a little, just enough to hook both her legs around the back of Audrie's knees, shifting her weight and causing Audrie not to be able to strike with those knees. The counter overbalances Audrie enough that the woman falls backwards to the mat, turning the move into a double under hook DDT. Somehow Hecate has the presence of mind to grab onto Audrie closest arm as she rolls away from Audrie and quickly twist, bringing both her legs around the grapevine the arm and tries to cinch in an armbar.]

Jack Gene - I am still not sure exactly what happened there, it all happened so fast but it started with the FYF by Audrie and ended with an arm bar submission hold by Hecate.

Bill Hughes - This is the exhaustion factor playing in, Hecate made sure she trained for several days in the conditions down here which no one knows if Audrie even considered Hecate enough of a threat to do. If it had been earlier in the match, Hecate might not have been able to counter that or if she did come out in the dominant position like she has.

[Hecate twists on Audrie's arm and tries to get her legs locked around the arm, but Audrie is about to get her other arm in between them, keeping Hecate from fully getting the hold locked on. With a grimace, Audrie rises up to one knee, while Hecate holds on and does a forwards roll to get close enough to put a foot on the rope. Luna Pier forces Hecate to break the submission hold, which she does at the count of four. Hecate climbs back to her feet only to be on the receiving end of bull rush by Audrie, which takes Hecate down to the mat. Using Hecate's own hair, Audrie slams the back of Hecate's head into the mat over and over until Luna Pier forces her to break it up. Rising to her feet with a condescending look on her face, Audrie once again makes a cutthroat motion across her neck with her thumb.]

Jack Gene - Looks like Audrie is sensing victory here, she's eying that exposed turnbuckle too. I think she has something diabolical planned for the champion.

Bill Hughes - Audrie went back to her brutal butcher style, over powering Hecate and she primed to take her place as the Heartlands Champion.

[Audrie pulls Hecate back up to her feet by Hecate's hair, but Hecate breaks free and ducks an elbow strike attempt by Audrie and responds by burying a knee in Audrie's midsection. After an elbow strike of her own to the side of Audrie's head, Hecate whips Audrie across the ring, off the ropes and catches Audrie in an Arn Anderson style spinning spine buster. Hecate takes a few steps back, crouching slightly and motioning for Audrie to get to her feet, a wicked expression forming on her face.]

Jack Gene - I think Hecate is stalking Audrie to deliver another Hades Bound to the challenger.

Bill Hughes - Audrie might be expecting that but Hecate has shown she can connect with that move from just about anywhere and any direction.

[Audrie makes it back to her feet just as Hecate starts to rush in, Audrie brings her arms up to fend off any attempt at the Hades Bound but Hecate just grins and delivers what is commonly called the Spartan Kick to Audrie's midsection which drops Audrie to the mat like a sack of potatoes. Hecate doesn't give Audrie a chance to recover, dropping down in a kneeling position over Audrie's body and twisting Audrie so she is on her side. Hecate then bends Audrie's arm in double, looping one of her arms though it and locking onto her other arm as she starts to pull Audrie's arm and shoulder back towards her spine rather violently.]

Bill Hughes - Holy Shit! I thought that move was just made up for the movie the 300, you mean there is actually a real Spartan Kick?

Jack Gene - Hecate with another new submission move, whatever is it, it got Audrie tapping out almost right away. Hecate has just beating Audrie McLaughlin to retain the Heartlands Championship.

Bill Hughes - That is a Pankration shoulder lock, if Audrie didn't tape out Hecate could have easily dislocated Audrie's shoulder or worse, that is not something you want to be in for long.

Jack Gene - So that was what Kronin was talking about when he was on Mat Briefs with Mischa.

[Hecate looks at Audrie as she is handed the Heartlands Belt and extends a hand to Audrie, who bats Hecate's hand away and rolls out of the ring. Hecate gets her hand raised in victory by Luna Pier before climbing the turnbuckle and lifting the Heartlands Title over her head as the fans cheer loudly, blood still pouring down her face.]

A New Beat

[The scene opens up backstage, showing Sault St. Marie's office.  The door opens and a tall, powerfully built black man walks out, wearing a New Orleans Saints Jersey, Saints cap tilted off to the side and big golden bling pendant.  In his right hand, he holds a short stack of paper.]

Gras-Dawg - Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' bout!  Get ready, boss man, cause the beat round here is bout to change cause Gras-Dawg's bout to be all up in here!

[He closes the door behind him and turns around as Jane Coughlin walks up to him.]

Jane Coughlin - You're Demetrius D'Angelo, yes?  One of the new talent?  I had heard rumors some or all three of you might be here for Blizzard.  Is...Is that a contract you're holding in your hands?

[Demetrius grins and holds up the paper, revealing that it is indeed, a WMW Contract.]

Gras-Dawg - Damn!  Baby, I'm whoever you want me to be, but you can call me Gras-Dawg cause when I'm around, it's like everyday is Mardi Gras! and yeah, this be a contract.  I'm officially here in the WMW roster, which means that these punks and playas better get ready, cause the next big thing is here and I got enough Bourbon Street Beatdowns to go round for everyone.

[Gras Dawg then looks back and checks out Jane's ass and body and nods, reaching into his pocket and handing her a card.]

Gras-Dawg - And uh..if you be lookin' to make a bit of money on the side or wanna experience just how much pleasure you can stand, why dun you give me a call later on tonight.

[Gras Dawg winks and Jane rolls her eyes.]

Jane Coughlin - I'll pass, thanks.  Onto more serious matters, can you tell the WMW fans a little about yourself?  You're from New Orleans, right?  I also understand you have history with two superstars in WMW, Valora and Kronin.  Is that true?

Gras-Dawg - Damn baby!  You ask too many questions!  One thang at a time, one thang at a time!  Yeah.  I'm from the lower 9th ward of New Orleans.  Ya know.. the place ya all shit on when that big bitch Katrina came knockin'.  I been fightin' all my life and I'm here to show off what I can do.  As for Kronin and Valora... I met up with Valora, she's as dangerous as she is hot if ya get what I'm sayin' and she can be one hot tamale!  WHOO!  As for Kronin, I seen him round, another white punk that thinks he knows street fighting and what a hard life is.  I been itchin' to show him what hard knocks really are, and now I'm here and have the chance to not only do that, but to show these other punks and bitches what's up as well.  The mood's bout to change round here baby!  Those other two new signs, they dun even matter baby!  The talent is all right here in this 6 foot 8, 260lb body of pure unadulterated big bad voodoo perfection right here!

Jane Coughlin - So...wait.  You're dismissing the other two new signings?  What about Wone?  He's a returning WMW Star.

Gras-Dawg - Wone?  Fuck kinda name is Wone?  Man I haven't heard of him before and if I ain't heard of 'im, he can't be all that.  I got my ear to the street, girl.  Any good fightin' talent makes it's way to my ears sooner or later.  'Sides, I said to focus on me and what I bring because I'm gonna take this place by storm!

Jane Coughlin - Alright, so why did you come all the way here to Cleveland?  Why not stay in New Orleans?

Gras-Dawg - Because, there's top quality talent here!  I seen some sick matches here, and finally, after beating everyone in and around New Orleans, I decided I needed a new scene, and so I flip on the channel.  I see one FINE ass latina chick here, Valora.  I see only two brothers, Hell Rell and Mo'Bad?!  I see one fine ass Asian chick, them some freaks right there, you get them into bed and Whoo Mama!  but anyways... the point is, I see a place that needs some more color, needs a bit more soul, ya feel me?  So, I came on up here to Cleveland in the butt ass crack of winter to show people what I can do.  Now excuse me sugar, I gotta go party to celebrate my new contract and get ready to make my name here!

[Gras-Dawg spins around and starts dancing as he makes his way down the hallway and Jane Coughlin looks around confused.]

Jane Coughlin - Well... that was a few words from our new acquisition Gras Dawg.  His debut match will definitely be something to look forward to.

[The scene fades.]

The Knights Arrive at Blizzard

[All of a sudden a 2010 Cadillac Limo begins pulling into the parking garage area. The 2010 Cadillac begins to slow down and comes to a stop. Slowly the limo driver opens his door, and out steps the limo driver who reveals himself to be Outlaw Biker. Outlaw Biker proceeds to make his way to the back of the limo, and opens the backseat driver side door. Out steps Zana Knight with a suitcase in hand. Outlaw Biker helps Zana exit the limo. Outlaw Biker kisses the hand of Zana Knight. Damian Knight now begins to exit the limo, but out of no where Zana Knight takes her suitcase and hits Outlaw Biker in the back of the head with it. Outlaw Biker is stun by the shot, and then with good measure Damian Knight levels Biker with a big boot to the face sending him down to the ground. Damian then bends down over Outlaw, and begins to speak.]

Damian Knight - I told you to make a speedy recovery. Why? because you got a job to do. Outlaw you have not been working for me long enough to have sick leave. You have been gone for a whole month. I'm sorry that Hell Rell whipped your ass at Graveyard Shift [103], but that was your problem,Outlaw, not mine. You had cost me to pay for a temp limo driver. You cost me money Outlaw. I hired and gave you a salary to do this job, but you had to fuck it up. Outlaw Biker, since you want to cost me money, it's going to cost you to keep your job. As of this moment you will no longer make 10.00 per hour. Now you will be making only 7.00 per hour. Outlaw it's not like you have a choice in the matter. WMW has not gave you work in months. I am the salvation to your well being. This time I cut your pay, next time you fuck up, Biker, it's going to be your well being.

[Out of no where, Zana Knight spits on Outlaw Biker.]

Zana Knight - What a fucking loser.

[The Knights begin to chuckle away at the damage done. They now leave the scene and begin to make their way into the arena.]

Heartlands Championship Buildup

[The shot opens up in the back where John Squires and Stephen Squires sit. Behind them is a wide screen TV with the Blizzard 2010 logo and a shot of Hecate, Audrie McLaughlin and Damien Knight in the ring.]

Stephen Squires
- And we are just moments away from the "Sacrifice" triple threat match for the Heartlands Title. In this match all three participants are putting something on the line. In this case, Hecate is putting her Heartlands Title on the line, Damian Knight is putting $10,000 on the line and Audrie McLaughlin is putting her WMW Contract on the line...Title vs Money vs Career all in one match!

John Squires - And unlike a normal sacrifice match, where normally it's the person who gets pinned or submits that has to sacrifice something, both losers will be sacrificing, it's a winner take all match.

Stephen Squires - Given the promos put out by all three this week, I don't expect anything short of a spectacular match with all three giving it their all. The Champion Hecate and Audrie McLaughlin have a history here in the WMW already, having fought some battles both in singles competition and in tag team matches like their epic match at El Dia but Damian Knight is the wild card here, especially with his size he could make a real difference in this match.

John Squires - Damian Knight has been reeling since his losses to Hell Rell, someone he considers inferior to him in every way. What a better way to get back on track than to win the Heartlands Title here tonight.

Stephen Squires - That would certainly go a long way to elevating Damian Knight in the ranks here of the WMW, but he's got a tall order ahead of him. First off Hecate has had one of the hottest starts here in the WMW, her only loss coming at the hands of Audrie McLaughlin and has stated she intends to break Jade's record for the longest Heartlands Title Reign. Secondly, there is Audrie McLaughlin, who is fighting for her very job and livelihood here, a loss tonight and she's gone from the WMW. How do you see this playing out John?

John Squires - Everyone is expecting either Hecate or Audrie to win this match, based mainly on their history together. It's very likely that the two of them will focus on each other and that will allow Damian Knight to pick his shots. I am going to have to go with Damian Knight in an upset win over both Hecate and Audrie McLaughlin. Damian Knight has two losses in a row to Hell Rell and he needs to make a statement quickly otherwise any hopes of moving up the ladder here in the WMW will be gone, and this is the perfect time for him to do so.

Stephen Squires - I am going to have to disagree with you there John, of all the competitors in this match, Audrie McLaughlin has the most to lose and that will mean she will do everything she can to win. Audrie won't fall into the same trap that she did last time with trying to wrestle to Hecate's strengths and I expect her to let Damian Knight and Hecate wear each other down and pick up the pieces, keeping the match to her strengths. I'm going with Audrie McLaughlin for not only the victory and the Heartlands Title here but to save her career as well.

John Squires - So we are in agreement though that tonight will mark the end of Hecate's championship run and Jade's record will be safe. In a triple threat match, the champion is always at a disadvantage and for Hecate it is even more so tonight. She's going to topple one of the largest athletes here in the WMW as well as defeat the woman who could very well know Hecate as well as Hecate knows herself. I just don't see how Hecate can pull that off, no matter how good a wrestler and champion she is.

Stephen Squires - I agree with you there John, tonight will be someone else's night to shine in the Heartlands division. And that match is coming up next. This is Blizzard 2010! Stay tuned!

[The shot fades.]

Hecate (c) vs. Damien Knight vs. Audrie McLaughlin

Written by: Hecate

["You Found Me" by The Fray blasts from the PA as Damian Knight walks out to the top of the entryway with his wife Zana Knight by his side. The pair stop at the top and give the crowd a long disdainful look before making their way down to the ring. Damian pauses on the ring apron and sneers at the ringside fans before holding the ropes for Zana to step through before stepping over the ropes into the ring.]

Wayne Inkster - The following contest is a triple threat match, scheduled for one fall and is for the Heartlands Championship. Introducing first, from parts unknown and coming into tonight's contest at a height of 7 feet 0 inches and weighting in at 327 lbs. He is the Business Man....DAMIAN KNIGHT!!!!

Jack Gene - This should be quite a match and a big opportunity for Damian Knight to get right back into the spot light here in WMW.

Bill Hughes - MOD or Damian Knight or whatever he is calling himself this week is always a dangerous competitor no matter who he is going against, but tonight he has his work cut out for him.

Jack Gene - You really don't like calling him Damian Knight do you ?

Bills Hughes - We've been over all this before, focus on the match Jack.

[The lights go out as "When The Storm Comes," by Blood For Blood hits and a single spot light shines down on the entrance ramp. Coming through the curtain, taped fists clenched, is Audrie McLaughlin a moment later Eric Dillinger steps out to stand just behind her. The black hood from her jacket keeps her face hidden as she makes her way down to the ring, shouldering past any fans reaching out to her. She moves up the steps and wipes her feet before entering the ring. She stands in the center of the ring and throws back her hood, making a cut throat motion as she does before pointing at Damian Knight on the outside.]

Wayne Inkster - Introducing second, hailing from San Francisco, California and coming into tonight's contest at a height of 5' 10" and weighing in at 170 lbs. She is The San Francisco Shooter, AUDRIE "THE BUTCHER" MCLAUGHLIN!!!!

Jack Gene - Audrie has had a run of bad luck here in the WMW recently, and now finds herself in a position I don't think she ever envisioned herself in. If she doesn't win here tonight, her contract with the WMW is voided and she's out of a job.

Bill Hughes - She had a great start here in the WMW and really pushed the Heartlands Champion Hecate, but Audrie wasn't able to get the job done in that historic match the two of them had at El Dia and since then fell short against the Great Lakes Champion Kronin and against Druscilla. Tonight it's do or die time for Audrie and regardless of whether you like her or not, it would be a shame if she isn't able to stay around after tonight.

Jack Gene - I wouldn't bet against Audrie in this situation, we very well could be looking at the next Heartland's champion.

[The arena suddenly goes black as the opening cords to Flyleaf's "All around me" start to play through the arena as a single spot light shines down on a figure at the top of the entry ramp completely concealed by a full black cloak. The figure remains still for several moments as the song plays through the arena until it reaches the first chorus section then the figure explodes into motion, tossing the cloak off and lifting one hand to the sky and looking up. Lifting her scepter above her head as she bows her head, letting the song move through her, Hecate is joined by Jade and the pair make their way down to the ring, the crowd mostly booing the pair which only causes Hecate to smirk before sliding into the ring as Audrie and Damian both glare at her from the outside of the ring.]

Wayne Inkster - And their opponent, hailing from Delphi, Greece and coming into tonight's contest at a height of 5' 10" and weighing in at 155 lbs. She is the current Heartlands Champion and is a member of the Daughters of Darkness, she is the Dark Priestess....HECATE!!!

Bill Hughes - One thing I've learned this last year, is not to bet against Hecate. At the rate she is going, could very well hold the Heartlands title for as long as Hecate wants. What we have here is the irresistible force versus the immovable object with M.O.D. caught in the middle.

Jack Gene - Many people are expecting this match to come down to Audrie McLaughlin and Hecate, but if either of them overlook Damian Knight, he could walk out with the title.

Bill Hughes - The bad thing for M.O.D. is that Audrie seems to have made it a point to focus on M.O.D. at least at the start of the match and with Hecate, she certain to have some game plan for dealing with him as well.

[Referee Luna Pier approaches each of the wrestlers and checks them for foreign objects, patting each one down before taking the metal briefcase from Zana Knight with Damian Knight's $10,000 in it. Luna Pier lifts the Briefcase above her head for a moment before opening it and showing both Audrie McLaughlin and Hecate the cash inside the briefcase, then she closes the briefcase and hands it over to a ring side attendant who places the case by the bell. Next Luna Pier takes Audrie's contact from Eric Dillinger, making sure the Damian Knight and Hecate get a look at it and then hands it off as well before finally taking the Heartlands title from Jade who took it off from around Hecate's waist. Luna Pier shows the belt to both Audrie McLaughlin and Damian Knight before lifting it above her head to show the fans in attendance before handing it off to the ring side attendant.]

Jack Gene - Luna Pier has just collected the items each person is sacrificing in this match; the Heartlands Title of course for Hecate, $10,000 for Damian Knight and in the case of Audrie McLaughlin, her contract with the WMW. If Audrie doesn't get the pin fall, her career with Wrestling Midwest is over and if Damian Knight doesn't get the pin fall he is out another $10,000 meaning in the last month Damian Knight will have lost $30,000 in total. Of course, if Hecate doesn't get the pin fall she looses the Heartlands Title.

Bill Hughes - Certainly puts renewed interest by all those in the ring, no matter what happens tonight, two people will be sacrificing something in this match. This just became a high stakes match thanks to Sault St. Marie.

(Ring, ring, ring)

Jack Gene - And referee Luna Pier has just called for the bell and Damian Knight just rushed past Luna Pier and leveled both Audrie and Hecate with a massive double clothesline. He's wasting no time getting this match started.

Bill Hughes - M.O.D. certainly doesn't want anyone to overlook him in this match and might be trying to make this a quick match.

[Hecate is the first one back to her feet, only to meet the big boot of Damian Knight who was perched in wait for either of them to get up. The boot sends Hecate down to the mat hard with the champion ending up half under the ring ropes. Damian Knights turns around only to be on the receiving end of a spinning heel kick from Audrie but the move barely budges the large man and Damian responds by burying a knee into Audrie's midsection before sending her flying across the ring to impact hard in the corner. Audrie barely has a moment to gather herself before Damian Knight delivers a running elbow strike in the corner, rocking Audrie's head back. As Damian Knight grins and looks around, Eric Dillinger is pounding on the mat and yelling at Audrie but Damian holds her in the corner as he delivers a series of hard shoulder blocks to Audrie in the corner until his assault is stopped suddenly as Hecate impacts with the back of Damian's leg in a running chop block.]

Jack Gene - Damian Knight with the early advantage using his power to overwhelm both Audrie and Hecate, this is exactly the game plan he needs to follow to have a chance at winning this match. Even after that chop block, Damian Knight was able to keep the offense up with a mule kick to Hecate.

Bill Hughes - M.O.D. needs to put this match away quickly, there is no way he can keep up endurance that both Hecate and Audrie possess if the match goes on for an extend period of time. M.O.D. is going for a double choke slam on Audrie and Hecate!

[Damian Knight has one huge hand around each woman's throat, grinning madly as he goes to lift them up in the air, but both women deliver a snap front kick to Damian's knees which cause Damian to break the choke slam attempt and after a second kick to each knee, Damian Knight drops down to his knees. Audrie bounces off the far ropes and connects with a running mafia style kick to Damian Knight as the later tries to rise to his feet, dropping him back down to his knees again. Hecate meanwhile hits Damian Knight with a spinning side kick to the middle of his back, dropping the Business Man to the mat face first. Audrie and Hecate glance at each other a moment before leaping across the fallen Damian Knight to bounce off the opposite ropes and running back to drop a pair of elbow's on Damian Knight, Audrie with a dropping from her full run at the last moment and Hecate connecting with a corkscrew elbow drop. Jade is nodding slightly on the outside but keeps her eyes on Eric and Zana while Eric claps a bit and shouts more encouragement to Audrie while Zana stomps her foot and yells at the downed Damian. The crowd seems to be firmly behind both women although most of them seem to be chanting Audrie's name.]

Jack Gene - Damian Knight went for that power move way to early in the match and both Audrie and Hecate were able to recover enough to not only stop the choke slam but actually turn the tide against Damian Knight.

Bill Hughes - M.O.D. bragged that neither woman would be able to take him down, and these are two women who have yet to back down from a challenge so it's obvious they would make it their goal to make M.O.D. eat those words.

Jack Gene - Looks like Hecate and Audrie's truce is about to end though.

[Audrie and Hecate look at each other, then the downed Damian Knight and then at each other again. Audrie tries for a quick clothes line attempt but Hecate ducks under it and bounces off the ropes, dropping under another clothes line attempt by Audrie and delivering a drop kick to Damian Knight's face as the large man tries to get back to his hands and knees which sends him face first to the mat again. As Hecate gets back up to her feet, she is met by Audrie with a hip toss that Audrie turns into a back breaker, making Hecate grab at her back as she falls to the mat. With Hecate face down on the mat, Audrie steps between Hecate's legs and grabs the champion around the waist and lifts Hecate up in a wheelbarrow position, only to heave the champion up and over her head in a wheelbarrow suplex that leaves Hecate writhing on the mat. Audrie bounces off the ropes to continue her momentum but runs into Damian Knight to connects with a huge sidewalk slam after catching Audrie on the way back across the ring.]

Jack Gene - Good Lord! Damian Knight shook the ring with that sidewalk slam. These three have not slowed down since the bell rang, at this rate I don't know how any of them will be able to survive for much longer.

Bill Hughes - That's why I'm here to bail your ass out as normal Jackie, if M.O.D. can continue to dish out punishment to these two women he will have an advantage, but he needs to isolate one of them if he wants to be able to put this match away soon. Both Audrie and Hecate have shown they can take tremendous amounts of punishment which makes M.O.D.'s job that much harder.

[Damian Knight pulls Audrie back to her feet then scoops her up and lifts her high above his head in a gorilla press, turning in the middle of the ring while he bench presses her up and down above his head. When he makes a full revolution of the ring, Damian drops Audrie down as he falls to one knee, delivering a back breaker to Audrie on his raised knee, then keeping a hold of Audrie and lifting her back up to hit a running power slam on the Butcher. Damian wraps up one of Audrie's legs as he goes for a cover, Luna Pier sliding into position and starts her count...1...2...Hecate with a flying elbow strike breaks up the pin attempt by Damian Knight. As Audrie rolls out of the ring to catch her breath, Hecate rocks Damian Knight's head with a series of elbow strikes before spinning in the opposite direction to drive an elbow into Damian Knight's thigh. The fans around the arena are stomping their feet as these three go at it.]

Jack Gene - Damian Knight with the first pin attempt of the match but Hecate was able to break the pin fall up and keep this match going.

Bill Hughes - Smart move by Audrie to bail out and catch her breath after that offensive series by M.O.D. and now it looks like Hecate is returning to working on his leg.

Jack Gene - So far both Audrie and Hecate have weathered the offensive assault of Damian Knight, but he just showed how quickly he turn things around with a couple of power moves.

[As Damian Knight tries to clear the cobwebs from Hecate's elbow strikes, the champion slams Damian's knee into the mat several times before putting a step over hold onto Damian's leg, then twisting around and dropping back to the mat to wrench on the joints of Damian's leg which causes him to growl out in pain. Damian rolls over onto his back but Hecate pushes her advantage and locks the foot under her arm pit and holding onto the top of his knee, falls backwards to the mat in a DDT type maneuver, jerking hard on Damian's leg and especially the knee joint. Damian responds by kicking Hecate hard with his other leg as he grabs the attacked knee in both hands before grunting and working himself up to one knee where he is able to catch Hecate on the way back in and delivering a quick choke slam to the champion. As Damian Knight goes to cover Hecate, Audrie slips back into the ring and stops that pin attempt with a back cracker to Damian Knight. The crowd starts a "This is Wrestling!" STOMP STOMP STOMP "This is Wrestling!" chant as these three competitors go at it.]

Jack Gene - Choke slam! Damian Knight with a choke slam on the champion but Audrie was able to recover enough to stop any pin attempt and at the same time weaken Damian Knight further with that back cracker.

Bill Hughes - Exchanges like that are what make triple threat matches so exciting and so dangerous, you have to always keep track of where the other two are at all times. In a normal match, M.O.D. might have had the pin twice now but both times it's been stopped by one of the other opponents.

Jack Gene - How very true, but Hecate is still not moving after that choke slam by Damian Knight even though I am not sure he hit all of it on her. Now is a good chance for either Audrie or Damian to really work over the other and possibly make this a one on one match.

[Audrie starts to reign punches down on Damian Knight as the larger man struggles back up to his knees, but Damian Knight is able to push Audrie back with one massive hand and rises back up to his feet only to have Audrie rush in, jump up and grab Damian Knight around the head and drop straight down to deliver a jawbreaker to the Business Man, following it up with a codebreaker as Damian Knight stands there holding his face stunned from the jawbreaker. Audrie glances over to see that Hecate is just starting to stir and quickly goes for the cover, on the outside all three spectators urging their wrestler on by pounding the mat and shouting into the ring. Luna Pier gets into position and starts her count...1...2...Damian Knight kicks out with authority, actually sending Audrie sailing through the ropes to land hard on the outside. Damian Knight glances at Hecate then looks outside to see Audrie already stirring on the outside and slips outside to meet Audrie on the outside while the crowd chants and cheers on Audrie.]

Jack Gene - What a kick out by Damian Knight, sending Audrie clear out to the ring floor!

Bill Hughes - Audrie had a good offensive flurry against M.O.D. but M.O.D. still had too much left for her to get a pin fall. Now both wrestlers are outside the ring and Midnight has used that distraction on the referee to slip into the ring and deliver a DDT to Hecate.

[Jade starts to slide into the ring after Zana Knight but quickly rolls back out after Zana Knight slips to the outside again, the two women arguing on the outside until Luna Pier comes over and warns both Jade and Zana Knight. Hecate is laid back out in the middle of the ring for the moment as Audrie and Damian Knight tried punches on the outside. Audrie connects with a big kick to Damian's midsection, allowing Audrie to hook in the FYF and begins to rain knees into Damian Knights upper torso and face area but Damian Knight uses his power and actually flips Audrie over his head into a back flip, leaving both a bit groggy on the outside while Zana Knight keeps Luna Pier occupied on the other side of the ring to prevent the ten count.]

Jack Gene - Audrie and Damian Knight are going at it on the outside of the ring, neither one getting a clear advantage over the other at the moment and Zana Knight is keeping Luna from starting her ten count as well, looks like Zana believes fighting on the outside of the ring will benefit Damian Knight.

Bill Hughes - Neither Hecate or Audrie have been able to wear M.O.D. down significantly yet so yes, the outside ring environment will benefit M.O.D. more than either one of the others at this point, but both Audrie and Hecate have shown in the past they are right at home outside the ring as well so M.O.D. might be better off getting the match back inside the ring where he can score a quick pin fall.

[Audrie gets up holding her back and wincing from the drop from such a height onto the thin ring side mats while Damian Knight holds onto the ring ropes from the outside and shakes his head trying to clear it. As Damian pushes himself off the ropes and starts to stand up fully, Audrie jumps up and hits a jumping spinning Enziguri to the back of Damian Knight's head, sending the big man slumping against the ring apron down on one knee. Audrie follows up with several wicked forearm and elbow shots to Damian's head causing the big man to stagger as he gets his feet back under him. Audrie delivers several kicks to Damian Knight's midsection before going for the FYF again but this time as she locks in the double underhook, Hecate comes sailing over the top rope and delivers a flying forearm to Audrie and sends all three bodies tumbling to the ground. The crowd is on their feet chanting "That was AWESOME!" in response to that suicide dive by Hecate.]

Jack Gene - Hecate just put her own body on the line to take out both Audrie and Damian Knight on the outside of the ring, all three wrestlers are down and Luna Pier is starting her count.

Bill Hughes - Audrie was really starting to make some headway on wearing Damian Knight down but all that momentum was stopped in an instant by that high flying move from Hecate who once again shows how quickly she can switch gears in a match.

[All three wrestlers make it back to their feet, Hecate charges Audrie who ducks and flips Hecate over with a back body drop onto the thin ringside mats, causing the champion to grab her lower back in pain while Damian Knight uses the opportunity to connect with a big boot to Audrie when she is fulled extended from the back body drop to Hecate. Damian Knight rolls both women back into the ring and then climbs in after them. Damian Knight charges at Audrie who drops Damian Knight with a drop toe hold, while Hecate bounces off the ropes and delivers a low drop kick to Damian Knight's head. The two women take a few moments to deliver a series of kicks to Damian's legs as he is down before both of them do the Garvin Stomp in stereo all over Damian's body, taking their time and really delivering the stomps to his arms and legs.]

Jack Gene - This match is still anyone's game, all three of these wrestlers are still fighting and going at it but it looks like Audrie and Hecate have decided to team up temporarily to put Damian down.

Bill Hughes - If Audrie and Hecate were ever to put their differences aside and actually team up, they would be a scare team based upon how well they have worked together in this match. That gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Jack Gene - Me too, but I'm not sure they are the same kind of shivers.

Bill Hughes - That's what the desk if for, to hide possible embarrassing reactions.

[Damian Knight struggles back up to his knees as Hecate and Audrie switch from the stomps to hard kicks against his ribs before Damian Knight is able to push both women away to give himself some breathing room. But neither woman gives him that chance as Audrie charges in and connects with a Shinning Wizard that leaves Damian Knight swaying on his knees with a dazed look in his eyes. Hecate follows that up by slipping behind Damian Knight, grabbing his head with both hands under Damian's chin and placing it against her shoulder before dropping down to her knees in a modified Widow's Peak neck breaker. Damian Knight stands there on his knees a moment before falling face first to the mat, Zana jumping up on the ring apron to complain about the double team to referee Luna Pier while Hecate is met with kick to the gut followed by a T-bone suplex from Audrie before Audrie dives and rolls Damian Knight over for a cover. The crowd seems to be in the middle of two conflicting chants, one is "Lets go Audrie!" and the other is "Lets go Hecate!".]

Jack Gene - The crowd seems to be be split between cheering for the champion Hecate and the challenger Audrie but they are pretty clear in their dislike for Damian Knight. Zana Knight arguing with Luna Pier about a double team in a triple threat match?

Bill Hughes - It's a smart move on Midnight's part, she saw her man in trouble and this keeps Luna Pier from being able to make the count.

Jack Gene - Audrie is back up and pushes Zana off the ring apron while she points over her shoulder at the downed Damian Knight.

[Audrie turns back around, looking to go for another cover by she is met with a side kick to the gut by Hecate, the two women stand there trading punches and elbow strikes moving back and forth across the ring by the ropes. Audrie gets the upper hand briefly by burying her knee several times into Hecate's midsection then follows it up with an elbow strike that sends Hecate stumbling into the corner. Audrie grins as she charges the corner and connects with a running clothesline before setting Hecate up for a monkey flip, falling backwards and sending the champion head over heels above Audrie only to have Damian Knight grab Hecate out of the air and deliver a running power bomb to the Champion then holds the position to attempt a pin fall but Audrie doesn't even give Luna Pier time to get into position before breaking it up with her For the Hooligan's running mafia kick. Audrie follows it up with another spinning heel kick that staggers Damian Knight and then tries for a standing ankle lock but Damian Knight blocks the attempt with a well placed punch to the side of Audrie's head. Damian Knight then pulls Audrie into a front side headlock and powers the Butcher up and over onto his back, grabbing Audrie with one arm around her neck and the other arm wrapping Audrie's feet up in front of Damian's body, stretching Audrie out in a submission move.]

Jack Gene - Oh!My!God! Damian Knight caught Hecate in mid air and delivered a running power bomb that nearly snapped the champion in half after that exchange of punches and strikes by both Audrie and Hecate.

Bill Hughes - Now M.O.D. has Audrie in a back stretch type submission and he's really pulling down on Audrie's neck, bowing her back out as the Butcher cries out in pain, how long will Audrie be able to stand this hold.

[As Damian Knight walks around the ring with Audrie on his back, jumping a bit from time to time to add extra pressure to hold, Hecate makes her way back to her feet, seeing the situation Audrie is in and runs to the ropes, intending to bounce off but Zana Knight hops up onto the apron and pulls the top rope down enough so that Hecate rolls over the top rope and crashes down onto the mat below. Jade immediately rushes around the ring which sends Zana scurrying until she runs head first into Eric Dillinger who is standing there with his arms crossed. Luna Pier wasn't able to see the initial interference by Zana and orders the three back to their corners as Damian Knight moves to the center of the ring and releases Audrie's ankles before flipping her over his back and drives her face first into the mat with a sit out face buster. With a cocky grin on his face, Damian Knight rolls Audrie over onto her back but before he can go for the pin, Hecate springboards off the top rope and catches Damian Knight with a flying Hades Bound. The crowd erupts into "Holy Shit!" and "This is Wrestling!" chants after that series.]

Jack Gene - Hades Bound! Hecate out of no where connected with a Hades Bound to Damian Knight who looks as out of it as Audrie does in the ring, Hecate might be able to pick up a win here.

Bill Hughes - I thought she would have been out of the picture longer after that spill to the outside and you can see she's still favoring her back a bit as she goes to cover Audrie.

Jack Gene - Doesn't look like she's able to put all her weight down on Audrie for this cover...here is Luna with the count...1...2...Audrie gets the shoulder up before the count of three. What is it going to take to for one of these three to win the match?

Bill Hughes - Both Audrie and Hecate will have to knocked out completely for either one of them to be pin if any of their previous matches are any indication and Damian Knight has managed to keep himself from being ganged up on a good portion of this match so it's still anyone's game although you can see how the match is starting to wear on all three of them.

[Hecate shakes her head as Luna Pier indicates it was only a two count and rises back up to her feet only to receive an forearm in the back from Damian Knight. Damian pulls one of Hecate's arms up into a hammer lock before wrapping his other arm around her neck and pulling her back into a Dragon Sleeper submission maneuver. Rising up to his full height, Damian lifts Hecate off the ground briefly before driving her back down onto one knee and cinching in the submission hold deeper. Luna Pier is in position to see if Hecate gives up or passes out while Audrie slowly crawls back to her feet.]

Jack Gene - And Damian Knight with another new submission move, using the classic Dragon Sleeper on Hecate and with his height he can really apply the pressure to the champion's back and not to mention possibly put her to sleep by cutting off the blood flow to her head.

Bill Hughes - Looks like M.O.D. might have actually got some pointers from hiring that expensive trainer of his. But I've said it before, I really don't think it's wise to try to match submission wrestling with Hecate outside of maybe our GLC Wayne or his boy wonder Garth Whynven.

Jack Gene - Hecate may be weakened enough for a submission hold to work on her, but I agree, I'm not sure of many who can out perform her in the submission skills.

[Audrie makes it back to her feet by using the ropes and moves to stop the submission hold when Zana Knight grabs at her leg just as Luna Pier glanced over that way, Luna rises to her feet and walks over to the ring ropes pointing at Zana Knight and makes the motion kicking Zana Knight from ringside to which Zana Knight starts to throw a temper tantrum before security comes out from the back and physically drags her away. Damian Knight starts yelling at Luna Pier for kicking Zana from ringside which distracts him just enough for Hecate to counter the Dragon Sleeper with a pair of knees to Damian's face. Damian Knight growls out as he lifts Hecate up and delivers a big boot to the charging Audrie at the same time, sending her back first to the mat and using Hecate as a weapon, slamming the champion belly first down on top of Audrie who manages to get her knees up so Hecate takes the brunt of the damage. The champion rolls to the side holding her midsection as Audrie ducks under a second big boot as she gets to her feet and actually catches Damian's foot on her shoulder, using that to trip his other leg and sending Damian Knight down to the mat before clamping on an ankle lock.]

Jack Gene - Zana Knight has been ejected from ringside by Luna Pier for attempting to interfere in this match, Damian Knight will have to win this one on his own now but he's in a bad spot with Audrie clamping that ankle lock on tightly.

Bill Hughes - Midnight was able to make some impact on this match but she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar. That gives the advantage to the women who both still have people at ringside.

Jack Gene - True but so far both Jade and Eric Dillinger seem content to let the three in the ring decide things and not get involved in the match.

Bill Hughes - How lame, they should be trying to help their wrestler win at any cost.

[Damian Knight manages to roll over and uses his other leg to push Audrie off, breaking up the ankle lock submission and gingerly gets to his feet, favoring that ankle a bit as he tries to walk off the submission hold. Audrie charges at Damian Knight, looking to deliver a kick to his weakened leg but Damian Knight catches her with a massive vise grip claw to her face. Audrie cries out as she pounds at the arm holding her head in that grip. Hecate uses the rope to get to her feet, shaking her head and turning around as Jade tries to yell a warning to her only to find her head clamped in a vise grip as well, Damian laughing as he uses those massive palms of his to squeeze both women's heads. Neither woman seems able to break the grip as Damian Knight squeezes down and actually lifts each woman off the mat with the vise grip, showing the strength of the hold.]

Jack Gene - Good Lord Almighty! Damian Knight has locked the Business Minded on both Audrie and Hecate. Neither woman seems to be able to break that death grip he has on either.

Bill Hughes - M.O.D. could easily make one of them pass out here and be declared the winner. Look at the strength of him, he's easily lifting both women into the air as if they weighted nothing.

Damian Knight - MARKET CRASH!!!

[Damian Knight lifts both Audrie and Hecate up in the air and drives them down to the mat at the same time with a vise grip slam, leaning forward to press their shoulders to the mat, attempting to pin them both at the same time. Luna Pier slides into position, checking both women's shoulders and starts her count...1...2...Both Audrie and Hecate manage to roll a shoulder up and stop the count as Damian Knight curses in the ring but doesn't release his vise grip hold on either woman. The fans actually groan out as the two women are slammed to the mat and boo Damian Knight loudly.]

Jack Gene - Holy Slam! Damian Knight just slammed both Audrie and Hecate to the mat at the same time while holding onto them with the vise grip, how strong is this man?

Bill Hughes - The more important question is how either of them managed to get a shoulder up to break the count, I thought for sure the match was over and what an impressive win that would have been.

[Damian Knight growls out as he keeps the vise grip on both women's heads and starts to stand up again, lifting each woman off the mat and off their feet. But Audrie and Hecate deliver a snap front kick first to Damian's knees and then another one to his midsection followed by several more each until he finally breaks the vise grip hold and both Audrie and Hecate wrap his arms over their shoulders and lift him up and over into a suplex. All three wrestlers lay on the mat recovering, Audrie and Hecate from the extended vise grip and Damian Knight from that massive double suplex.]

Jack Gene - What a thunderous double suplex from Audrie and Hecate, the ring literally shook from the impact of Damian Knight landing from that. But neither woman seems able to capitalize after been held in that vise grip for so long.

Bill Hughes - What a match this has been, there may not have been a lot of high flying spots or the like but these three have really put on a tremendous match.

[Damian Knight manages to get to his feet first, but is met by a spinning back kick from Hecate who is clearly trying to shake the remainder of that vise grip off. She delivers another kick to Damian's midsection and then loops his arm over her shoulders, kicking off and rising high up in the air vertically like Damian Knight is about to deliver a suplex to her but before anything else can happen, Audrie charges in and delivers a running spear to Damian Knight, sending him down to the mat and dropping Hecate head first to the mat in a brain buster type move. Audrie quickly pulls Hecate up by the hair and bends the groggy champion over, lifting Hecate up over her head before taking a few steps and driving Hecate down to the mat in a power bomb, keeping her mount position and starting to rain punches down on the defenseless Hecate until Damian Knight breaks it up with a running big boot to the side of Audrie's head. ]

Jack Gene - Oh!My!God! Hecate went for the Lunar Eclipse on Damian Knight but a spear by Audrie turned that into a brain buster for Damian Knight!

Bill Hughes - Audrie's follow up power bomb and those mounted punches could prove to be the difference, Hecate might very well be out in the ring leaving just Audrie and M.O.D. to fight it out to determine the winner.

[Damian Knight picks Audrie up, sending her across the ring and catching the Butcher on the way back, lifting her up and spinning around to drive her into the mat with a power slam. Damian grins as he picks Audrie up by the hair and sends her across the ring once more, this time lifting her high into the are as he spins and drives her down to the mat once more, this time with a monstrous spine buster one that cause Audrie to cry out in pain and grip her lower back as she arches on the mat. Damian Knight looks around and makes a cut throat motion before looking over at Hecate who is still laying on the mat where she was power bombed and then at Jade and Eric at ringside before pulling Audrie to her feet.]

Jack Gene - Damian Knight looks to be in full command of this match at this point, the champion Hecate still hasn't moved after what happened earlier and Damian has been free to unleash his offensive power moves on Audrie without any fear of interruption.

Bill Hughes - Things are not looking good for the champion Hecate or the Butcher Audrie McLaughlin, we may be witnessing her final moments here in the WMW. M.O.D. appears ready to put this match away.

[Damian Knight sends Audrie across the ring, waiting for her when she flies back across the ring, lifting her high up into the air and then slamming Audrie down hard to the mat with The Business Plan. Damian Knight holds Audrie down with his hand still on her chest, kneeling down on one knee. Luna Pier slides into position to start the count when Hecate bounces off the ropes and delivers a wicked thunderous Spartan Kick to the side of Damian Knight's head sending him through the ropes and to the outside where he lays without moving at all.]

Hecate - You don't deserve to be the one to pin her!

[Hecate shouts at the knocked out Damian Knight before pulling Audrie up to her feet, bending the Butcher over and pulling Audrie's legs up into Audrie's chest. Hecate takes a moment then flips over driving Audrie's head into the mat with her flip DDT and quickly rolling Audrie over to go for the cover, Luna Pier sliding into position and starting her count...1....2....3. Hecate leans back off Audrie and lifts one hand in the air as Luna Pier calls for the bell, her other hand running through her sweat soaked hair.]

Jack Gene - OH!MY!GOD! What a kick, Hecate had to have knocked Damian Knight out with that Spartan Kick and Damian Knight never saw it coming.

Bill Hughes - Hecate has the second most dangerous feet in the WMW and Damian Knight just learned why. That kick allowed Hecate to deliver the final blow to Audrie and pin Audrie in what has become their final match.

Jack Gene - Your winner and STILL Heartlands Champion...Hecate!!!

[Eric Dillinger slides into the ring and checks on Audrie as Jade slides in and takes the Heartlands title from Luna Pier and wraps it around Hecate's waist as Luna Pier presents Hecate with the metal briefcase with the $10,000 and Audrie's WMW contract.]

After Match Happenings

[Damian Knight is still out on the outside of the ring, Zana Knight and Outlaw Biker come out from the back along with a couple of trainer to help Damian Knight to the back. Hecate looks over at Audrie as Eric Dillinger helps the Butcher to her feet and moves over to the ring ropes and calls for a microphone from one of the ring side attendants while Eric Dillinger looks on as Audrie clears her head.]

Jack Gene - Looks like Hecate has something to say to Audrie before Audrie leaves the WMW.

Bill Hughes - I'm betting it's going to be "Hey hey...good bye!"

[Hecate with microphone in hand looks across the ring to Audrie and Eric, motioning toward Audrie forward before stepping to the center of the ring with her hand extended. After a moment's hesitation, with a glance towards Eric, Audrie steps forward and shakes Hecate's hand. Hecate lifts Audrie's hand in the air for a moment before raising the microphone to her mouth.]

Hecate - Audrie, you and I might never be friends but I think it's safe to say we have earned each other's respect with our matches here in the WMW.

[Audrie hesitates another moment before nodding her head, both Eric is poised and ready to strike as Audrie is eager to see where this is going.]

Hecate - Now according to the stipulations for this match by loosing this match, whether she was pinned or not, Audrie's contract with the WMW is null and void. Well I've shed blood and sweat with this woman in some hard fought matches and it's my opinion that the WMW is worse off for not having Audrie amongst it's ranks.

[Both Audrie and Eric blink and look a bit shocked at that, Jade has a small smile on her lips as she listens to Hecate's words.]

Hecate - Do you want to see Audrie leave the WMW ?

[Hecate asks then extends the microphone as she slowly turns in a circle as the crowd starts to shout. "Let Audrie stay! Let Audrie stay!" and "Hell no, Audrie don't go!" Hecate grins as she brings the microphone back to her.]

Hecate - Sault St. Marie, listen to the fans, listen to the other wrestlers...find a way to re-work Audrie's contract and don't let this talented wrestler become just a former WMW wrestler.

[Audrie casually takes the microphone from Hecate with a solemn look on her face. As she brings up the mic she fights back a few tears.]

Audrie -  Hecate... fans... I have to say thanks.

[Audrie looks Hecate in the eyes.]

Audrie - Thank you for the excellent competition and for matches I can be proud of for years to come.

[Audrie turns to the fans, but as she does she gets choked up. Eric walks up and says something inaudible while rubbing her shoulder. She nods and brings the mic back up.]

Audrie - And I really want to thank you guys for all the support you've given me these short months that I was here. Thanks for cheering me, buying a shirt, hell, thanks for showing up week after week because with out you guys I would have never made it here. Thanks...

[The fans cheer before they break out into chants, "THANK YOU, BUTCHER!" **CLAP, CLAP, CLAP** "THANK YOU BUTCHER!" **CLAP, CLAP, CLAP**]

Audrie - I would stay if I could, but right now WMW is not the place for me. I lost and I can't dispute it... I did this to myself and...

[Audrie stops for a moment and shakes her head. She drops the mic and exits the ring with her head down as she makes her way up the ramp. Eric follows shortly after and stops her as she gets to the top of the ramp. He says a few more words to her and she nods. Slowly, she turns back to the crowd and raises her arms for one last pop. She waves and blows a kiss before disappearing to the back.]

Shoot Championship Buildup

[The shot opens up in the back where John Squires and Stephen Squires sit. Behind them is a wide screen TV with the Blizzard 2010 logo and a shot of Jack Reynolds, Amariie Maerthos and Jade in the ring.]

Stephen Squires - And we are just moments away from our next contest, the Shoot Championship, and - a lot on the line here, John. First and foremost, and really - the obvious piece - is the fact that this is Jade's first title defense. Tonight, she puts the gold on the line against two former champions in Jack Reynolds and Amariie Maerthos. But, we all heard the announcement earlier this week from Sault St. Marie. And if you didn't catch it, I'll read the transcript.

[He pulls up a piece of paper and begins to read it.]

Stephen Squires - Because of the partnership with the World Wrestling Alliance, it is important to not sit on old competition, but push for new competition.

[He looks up at John Squires.]

Stephen Squires - John. I mean, that's a huge announcement.

John Squires - Well, it is Stephen. But, you got to understand where Sault St. Marie is coming from. This will be the third matchup between Amariie and Jack Reynolds in less then 60 days. Potentially, the second time we've seen Jack Reynolds and Jade in under 3 weeks. And, me - as a fan, I really don't want to see it again after tonight.

Stephen Squires - But, banned for the entire year?

John Squires - Right, it's a long time. When you have a guy like Jack Reynolds who has made it clear that the Shoot Championship was his ultimate goal, and after tonight, he might be unable to compete for it for a full 365 days, I mean - it's going to put his career at a huge fork in the road. But, this isn't about catering to the wrestlers, giving then 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances. It's about providing competition to the entire roster. I agree, it really comes off as punishment. But it isn't. It's just a natural cause and effect. Jack Reynolds couldn't hold onto the title. Amariie couldn't hold onto the title. They weren't good Champions. And, the person who doesn't take advantage of this match, yes - I don't see a reason to think that they could really be in a position to hold the Shoot Championship again, because they're inconsistent.

Stephen Squires - So? Who you got?

John Squires - Well, let's be honest here. Amariie killed at the end of 2009. She just rolled through the competition. She won the Jack Reynolds Invitational outright, and - without a doubt, really represented the Shoot Division how you expected it to be represented. She defeated Jack Reynolds and showed that she had what it took to be considered the Shoot Champion. But - she lost it. She wasn't able to keep that train running. Jack Reynolds on the other hand, I just think got lucky. He sat for an entire month, got caught off guard against Amariie and lost. He came back the following week and somehow found an opening to defeat her at Graveyard Shift 101, but again - he's inconsistent. So, yes, out of the two, I see Amariie being the better choice. But, Jade is a proven Champion. She's held the Heartlands, the longest reigning Heartlands Champion. She's held the GLC. And now the Shoot, and - because she is Champion, I'd be an idiot to pick against her. Jade will successfully defend tonight. In the end though, you look at what this title means to Jack Reynolds, and I see him pulling out all of the stops. I don't see Reynolds defeating Jade, but I do see him making it to that point in the match. Amariie will be banned from the Shoot Division in 2010.

Stephen Squires - Okay, that match is coming up next. This is Blizzard 2010! Stay tuned!

[The shot fades.]

Amariie vs Jack Reynolds

Written by: Garvin

[The shot opens up inside the ring as Wayne Inkster stands at attention.]

Wayne Inkster - The following contest is scheduled for two falls under gauntlet rules and is for the Shoot Championship!

[The crowd pops.]

Wayne Inkster - The rules state that the match will begin between the two challengers and they will fight until one is eliminated by pinfall or submission. Then, they will advance to take on the Champion in a match decided by pin or submission.

[The crowd pops once again. Just then, "Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence blasts from the PA as Amariie makes her way down to the ring.]

Wayne Inkster - Introducing first, hailing from Romania, and coming into tonight's contest at a height of 5'6" and weighing 152lbs, she is a member of the Daughters of Darkness...she is AMARIIE!!!

[Amariie struts her way down to ringside almost as if she was entering a high society party somewhere. Pausing on the apron, she looks across the ring and to the crowd before taking a hold of the top rope and spring boarding over into the ring where she moves to her corner and listens as John Law goes over the match rules and instructions with her.]

Jack Gene - And here we go. Quite possibly the final time we'll see either Amariie or Jack Reynolds compete for the Shoot Championship. It will be decided tonight. And, Amariie looking very confident. You know she won't be taking this opportunity lightly.

Bill Hughes - No, Reynolds stole a win out from under her. Tonight will be payback.

["The Dance" from The Life Aquatic soundtrack blasts from the PA as the crowd pops. Jack Reynolds appears at the top of the ramp and stops to take one last moment of silence before walking to the ring.]

Wayne Inkster - Her opponent& standing 5'9" and weighing 175 pounds & he hails from Parma, Ohio & he is JAAAAACK REEYYYNNOOOOLLLDS!!!

[Jack Reynolds makes his way down to the ring, getting a loud pop and slapping hands with fans at ringside.]

Jack Gene - You can see it in his eyes, Bill. There is something different here.

[Reynolds slides into the ring. He walks over to the side of the ring and looks out into the crowd as they cheer his name. He turns back to the center of the ring and John Law calls them together. The music fades. He explains the rules. Jack Reynolds hurries away from Law and walks back to the corner.]

Jack Gene - And, Jack Reynolds not staying long in the huddle. He's looking very nervous here.

[Law calls for the bell.]

Jack Gene - But here we go. Jack Reynolds vs. Amariie Maerthos, where the winner will advance to fight Jade, one on one, for the Shoot Championship.

[They circle one another,Jack nervously wiping the sweat from his hands on his pants. They meet in the center of the ring and lock up. They struggle to push the other back and after a few moments, Amariie pushes Jack away. Jack immediately lunges forward and locks on a headlock.]

Jack Gene - And Jack Reynolds locks on a headlock.

Bill Hughes - You know, Jack. I can't tell if the kid is aggitated about it or just flat out scared of what's on the line here tonight.

[Amariie is able to punch out of the hold. She goes for a clothesline, but Jack dodges it. He then turns and lands a stiff spinning heel kick to the side of her head which causes her to stumble towards the ropes.]

Jack Gene - Oh! And kick by Reynolds. Amariie is dazed.

[Reynolds charges and immediately rolls her up in a small package.]

Jack Gene - And Reynolds with a small package. Here's the count ...1 ...and Amariie is able to kick out.

[Reynolds quickly pops up and goes for the Midwest Blackout, but Amariie throws him over her shoulder. He stands back up and Amariie charges. Jack ducks her attack and quickly rolls her up. Law gets into position. He starts the count, but Amariie kicks out before the one. Reynolds pops up again as Amariie rolls to her feet. He charges Amariie and pushes her against the ropes. He irish whips her, but she holds on and reverses it. As he bounces off the ropes, she turns to face him. As he runs back she catches him and hits him with a quick powerslam.]

Bill Hughes - Woah!

Jack Gene - She slammed Jack Reynolds to the mat, and oh, just probably knocked the steam right out of him.

[Amariie gets back to her feet. As she hovers over Jack, he arches his back in pain. She walks behind him and slams a huge kick to his back, causing him to arch even further. She grabs him by the hair and then slams an elbow to his face, hitting him with a modified elbow drop. She drives her forearm into his face to make the pin.]

Jack Gene - Amariie with the cover. ...1 ...2, no! Jack gets his shoulder up.

[Amariie stands up. She grabs Reynolds by the hair and pulls him up. As she turns him to face her, he takes a swing. She ducks, He spins through the punch and Amariie gets behind him with a waistlock. She lifts him up and slams him down with the takeover.]

Bill Hughes - Amariie with a big time slam on Jack Reynolds! Once again taking him to the mat. That's two slams in just about 30 seconds. Your body can't take many more of those, Jack.

[He's able to get to his feet quickly and begins to push back against her, trying to pry apart her hands. He isn't able to, so instead pushes her back into the corner. John Law steps in to break it up. She lets go of the lock, and Reynolds turns out of the corner. Just as he does, she swings to connect with a slap, but Reynolds blocks it. He kicks her in the midsection just as the ref gets out of the way. He pulls her forward and takes her down with a snapmare, before locking on a rear naked choke.]

Jack Reynolds - And Jack Reynolds locks on a submission. Amariie is trying to push his hands up but not having any luck.

[Amariie tries to roll to her side to get to her knees but Reynolds blocks it. She somehow powers up to her feet pushing Jack up to his as he tries to keep the hold on. She moves to his side, as he turns it into a headlock. But, before he can secure the hold, she squeezes out of the hold and locks on a side headlock of her own, and takes Reynolds down to the mat.]

Jack Gene - And again, Amariie showing some great technical work here, as she puts on a headlock. These two are so evenly matched. They could trade move for move every night. I don't really agree with the idea that one of these will be banned from competing for the Shoot Championship. I love calling these types of matches.

[Reynolds tries to push out of it, but she pulls back on his head. He somehow pushes her forward, and escapes the hold by rolling out of it. He immediately locks on a hammerlock, and then drops a knee to her back and arm putting her into major discomfort. He drops another knee to the back and arm as she struggles to get off of the mat. He pulls her up by the arm and snaps it down. He brings her forward quickly and slams her in the shoulder with his own. He then goes for an arm wringer, but she rolls out through it, and kips up, causing her to get the advantage on the arm and she reverses it with an arm ringer of her own.]

Bill Hughes - Woowee. I'll tell you what. Amariie continues to show us how great she can really be.

Jack Gene - We are only in part one of this Shoot Championship match. Again, the loser will be banned from competing for the Shoot Championship for the entire 2010 schedule.

[Reynolds tries to walk away, but she grabs him by the back of the head and throws him down to the mat. She then locks on a wrist lock, as Reynolds tries to get off of his back.]

Jack Gene - Amariie continues to apply the pressure to Jack Reynolds. And, you have to wonder if her strategy is going to change at all in this match. With the fact that directly following this contest, she could be in the ring with Jade.

Bill Hughes - Well, you can't really make things go faster, but what she's doing is keeping Reynolds isolated. Keeping him close to the match and making sure the pace remains slow. I think that's the best way to go about this. Don't want to expend too much energy.

[She drops a boot to his forehead and continues to twist the wrist.]

Jack Gene - We are only about 5 minutes into this contest, but Amariie is on the advantage here. Reynolds is showing a lot of emotions going into this contest, knowing that tonight could be the last time he faces off for the Shoot Championship in 2010.

[She tries to drop another boot, but he blocks it, and immediately kips up. With his arm still locked in, he twists out of it, and reverses it, applying an another arm ringer.]

Jack Gene - And Jack Reynolds has reversed it.

[He pushes her back into the corner and goes for an irish whip, but she reverses it, sending him flying across the ring. She charges closely behind him. As he reaches the corner, he catches himself, turns and elbows her in the face. She stumbles backwards. Reynolds jumps up onto the second turnbuckle and leaps off hitting a flying cross body. He holds on for the pin. John Law jumps into position and starts to count. 1... 2... she kicks out.]

Jack Gene - Amariie kicks out. Real close there. You can tell that the elbow really jarred her brain a bit. Reynolds is back to his feet and he looks like he's measuring Amariie up for something... here comes Amariie and... Reynolds takes her down with an armdrag, and he's locked on her arm. Another submission move. O
nce again, this match is taken back to the mat. Jack Reynolds has her in that arm lock, and Amariie struggling to break free, but he's got a pretty good grip on her.

[She tries to push up off of her back, but he forces her back down. She grabs him by the hair, but Law quickly stops it.]

Jack Gene - Both of these fighters showing that they are approaching this match exactly the same. Both very cautious in the early goings.

Bill Hughes - Since Reynolds neither could close out the other within the first 5 minutes, they're resorting back to submissions and mat work. Keeping the other grounded. Keeping their breathing patterns calm.

[She tries to pull away, reaching with her foot to the ropes, but Reynolds keep a strong grip on her. She turns into the hold, getting to her knees. Reynolds stands up to regain leverage. She stands up and he immediately gets behind her and turns it into a hammerlock.]

Jack Gene - Hammerlock by Jack Reynolds.

[She leans back into him and then swings with an an elbow out of nowhere, but Reynolds ducks it, causing her to spin around. He catches her, then lifts her up with a Northern Lights Suplex and holds it for a pin. Law gets into position.]

Jack Gene - And Reynolds with a pin. ...1 ...2 ...no! Amariie kicks out.

[Reynolds quickly gets back up. He mutters something to the ref as he walks back to Amariie who gets to her knees. He reaches forward to grab her, but she punches him in the midsection. He turns holding his midsection, and she immediately stands up and hits a chop block to the back of his knee, sending him to the mat in pain.]

Bill Hughes - That didn't look good.

Jack Gene - No, Jack is holding his knee in pain and... Amariie looks to be targeting that right leg now.

[Amariie stands up and begins to drop boots to his knee. Reynolds tries to push himself back up to his feet, but is unable to put any weight on his knee. Amariie grabs a hold of his leg and pulls him towards the center of the ring. She tries to lock on a figure four, but Reynolds wraps her into a small package.]

Jack Gene - Reynolds with a small package! Here's the count ...1 ...2 ...and Amariie powers out.

[Amariie bounces up and slams a huge boot to Reynolds' face as he tries to get to his feet. She grabs his right knee and locks on a grapevine leg lock. Law gets into position to look for a submission. Reynolds tries to fight out of it.]

Jack Gene - And Amariie is really wrenching on Reynolds' knee. He's in a lot of pain here but is refusing to give up.

[Amariie lets go of the hold and pulls him up. He pulls the knee up, not putting any pressure on it. She picks him up onto her shoulder and drops him down with another slam. She goes for a pin. Law counts ...1 ...2 ...]

Bill Hughes - No!

Jack Gene - Reynolds kicked out. Oh my.

[Amariie stands up. She grabs Reynolds by the head and pulls him up. She pushes him back into the corner. She tries to irish whip him across the ring, but he falls to the mat, unable to run on his knee.]

Jack Gene - Oh no... Reynolds... Reynolds is down. I don't know if it was that chop block or what happened, but... the right knee is giving him some serious issues here.

Bill Hughes - And Amariie knows it. Look at the smile on her face.

[As Amariie watches from the corner, she loosens her shoulders and wrists. She walks back towards Reynolds and again, tries to pull him up to his feet. He blocks it with a punch to the midsection. Then another. As she stumbles backwards. He jumps up off of his good leg and hits a spinning heel kick which hits her right in the side of the head. She falls face first to the mat and he falls to his seat holding the knee in pain.]

Jack Gene - Oh! And Jack Reynolds takes her down, but... can he take advantage? Does he have the strength to make the cover, or is the pain just too severe.

[Reynolds crawls towards Amariie. He reaches over and and makes a cover. Law gets into position to count.]

Jack Gene - Here's the pin ...1 ...2 ...no! She got a shoulder up.

[Reynolds gets to his feet. He limps, trying hard to put pressure on the knee and disregard the pain. Amariie slowly gets to her feet. As she does, Reynolds hits a right hand. And another. He goes for a third, but she gets a thumb into his eye. As he turns, holding his eye. She charges and bounces off the ropes. As she comes back, he turns towards her and she slams a knee into his head, sending him down to the mat. He lays flat on his back and she makes a quick cover.]

Jack Gene - Oh! Running knee strike by Amariie! Here's the cover ...1 ...2 ... and Reynolds gets his shoulder up.

[He rolls to his stomach, trying to crawl away as Amariie stands up. She yells at the ref for not counting fast enough. She pushes past him and lays another boot to Reynolds's back. She then reaches down and grabs Reynolds by the legs. He struggles to get free as she tries to put on a cloverleaf.]

Jack Gene - Amariie, looking for a cloverleaf here or maybe a sharpshooter, which... I don't know, Bill. If she can get this on, this very well might be the end.

[She pulls him up and turns him over successfully locking on a sharpshooter and, Law immediately looks for a tapout.]

Bill Hughes - This is it. This has got to be it. The knee is in bad shape and...

Jack Gene - Reynolds is rejecting the idea of quitting. He just pushed the ref away as he tries to reach for the ropes. His face is becoming a dark shade of red, as he reaches with everything he's got.

[Amariie wrenches backwards, pulling harder and harder on his legs and back. Reynolds again reaches out. He pulls her closer to the ropes, but just as he was within inches of the ropes, she stands up and pulls him back to the center of the ring.]

Jack Gene - Amariie moving back to the center of the ring. And, Reynolds - you can see the fear in his eyes. This could be it. This could be the end of Jack Reynolds competing for the Shoot Championship for the foreseeable future. Reynolds reaching for the ropes again.

Bill Hughes - I'm not sure how he hasn't tapped out yet. I mean, she's got it cinched on. There is no way he's going to be able to reach for the ropes.

Jack Gene - Law continues to talk to Reynolds. He's giving Reynolds every opportunity to tap out, but Reynolds is will not. He can't. He won't give up on this match or his dreams at holding the Shoot Championship once again. Reynolds is... he's reaching out... and the color is quickly leaving his face. Reynolds, trying desperately to reach the ropes and...

Bill Hughes - Oh...

Jack Gene - I'm... I'm not sure what just happened. I think he's passed out. Reynolds has gone limp, his face just slammed into the mat and... oh the ref is calling it!

(ring, ring, ring)

Jack Gene - Reynolds isn't responding! It's over! Law just pulled Amariie off of Reynolds and ... my god!

Bill Hughes - Yeah, he's out like a light.

Wayne Inkster - Jack Reynolds has been eliminated.

Jack Gene - Amariie Maerthos has successfully eliminated Jack Reynolds and now she will go on to face Jade for the Shoot Championship.

After Match Happenings

[Medics rush down to the ring. They pull Reynolds from the ring and begin to treat him on the outside.]

Jack Gene - Jack Reynolds has just been pulled out of the ring. He still hasn't come to. This is truly a sad day.

Bill Hughes - Except, it's not. I mean, this happened for a reason. This will work out best for the division and for the legacy of the Shoot Championship. Jack Reynolds is a failure, and obvious failure and that's not what the Shoot Division needs.

Jack Gene - You've got to give him credit though. This title is here because of him and he did not give up. But, his body did.

[Another medic runs down carrying a stretcher.]

Jack Gene - And, looks like they're bringing a stretcher out here. Reynolds is finally coming to, and you've got to wonder what's got to be going through his mind right now.

[As the stretcher-carrying medic reaches the group, Reynolds stands up.]

Jack Gene - My god! Reynolds is standing.

[The medics try and stop him, but he pushes them away. He limps towards the ring and looks in as Amariie stands, waiting for the next match to start. She raises her hands.]

Bill Hughes - I don't think he knows where he is or what happened. I don't think he realizes that he has lost this match.

[With that, Reynolds shakes his head and turns. He begins to walk towards as the fans give him a standing ovation. Medics walk with him, making sure he's okay. Reynolds walks through the curtain.]

Jack Gene - And that's it. Jade vs. Amariie. Shoot Championship. And it starts right now.

Amariie vs. Jade (c)

Written by: Jade

Wayne Inkster - And now, for the last entrant into the match.  She hails from Lhasa, Tibet, China and stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs in at 150lbs.  She is the reigning and defending WMW Shoot Champion and is also a member of the Daughters of Darkness, she is JADE!!!!!

[The camera shifts backstage where Jade is seen standing with Jack Reynolds, checking on his health briefly and giving him a small nod and patting him on the back before she makes her way out to the ringside area.

A sound of lightning breaks out and the lights in the arena flash to simulate a lightning bolt.  After a few seconds, the Videotron comes to life.  On the video tron, Jade's name appears with a Chinese Character in the background.  Then a great Easten Jade dragon is shown circling around a landscape, then lightning seems to come down and strike the stage in front of the entryway causing a burst of green, silver and gold pyro have the dragon lunge towards the camera with mouth open as a roar escapes it's mouth, echoing through the arena.

After a few moments, Music from the Jade Dragon Concerto (Great Muta Concerto) plays over the PA and Jade seemingly walks through the pyro and flames of the Dragon, walking out in a determined, methodical pace before finally stopping in a fighting stance as her overcoat flutters in the air before displaying a flurry of punches and kicks, ending up with her making a few martial arts movement and clinching her fist as a final burst of pyro goes off behind her. She then narrows her eyes and runs down towards the ring, one foot barely touching the ground before lifting off and moving, her black overcoat fluttering around her Chinese style boots and leggings, colored dark gray with Jade dragon designs on them.

Once she reaches the ring, Jade jumps up and lands on the apron in a handstand before vaulting over the ropes and landing in a fighting stance, in one motion taking her overcoat off and tossing it aside as she retakes her fighting stance, eyes locked on her opponent.]

Jack Gene - And Jade with a display of sportsmanship, wishing Jack Reynolds well and checking on his health. Jade's been injured before too and knows how that feels.

Bill Hughes - Yeah, and now the DoD is guaranteed to keep the Shoot title! I just can't decide who I want to have it more. I love Amariie's attitude and she is right, the belt is her property.

Jack Gene - Really? Cause last time I checked, Jade held the belt. Amariie may think the belt is hers but she has to prove it here tonight and Jade has that look in her eye, she's in the zone.

[Jade slowly removes her Shoot title and hands it to John Law and looks over at Amariie, who points to the Shoot title and yells 'That's mine!' Jade remains stoic and raises her hand and makes the 'come on' motion to Amariie. Law calls for the bell and Amariie charges forward as the bell rings and throws two left jabs that are easily blocked by Jade and then tries for a spinning right backfist, but Jade catches the backfist attempt, pulls Amariie in close and nails her with a spinning right backfist of her own, sending Amariie staggering backwards. Amariie comes off the ropes and throws a kick out at Jade, but Jade catches the kick and jumps into the air, hitting Amariie with a spinning kick that sends her to the mat. Jade paces around the prone body of Amariie before pulling Amariie to her feet, Amariie counters with a low blow and tries for a school boy rollup but Jade kicks out before Law can even make a count. Jade rolls up to her feet and as as Amariie gets up Jade nails her with a Buzzsaw kick that echoes throughout the arena and sends Amariie slumping to the mat.]

Jack Gene - Ouch! Well Amariie has shown she'll cheat even against her supposed friends in this match, but Jade is... well, Jade is taking Amariie to the woodshed here and teaching her a lesson.

Bill Hughes - Think we'll see Jade bend Amariie over her knee and spank her? I could get behind that...

[Jade pulls Amariie to her feet and shakes her head as she whips Amariie into the corner. Amariie climbs up to the top turnbuckle, preparing for a highrisk move but Jade rolls forward and as she comes out of the roll leaps into the air and slaps Amariie across the face, dazing her. She then grabs Amariie's arms and jumps off the middle rope, flipping Amariie over her and sending Amariie back first onto the mat as Jade drops into a sitting position, hitting an iconoclasm like move. Jade hops up and wastes no time, rolling Amariie over onto her face and pulls her legs up, crossing Amariie's feet and interlocking her own feet with Amariie's before bending back and arching her back into a bridge, grabbing Amariie's face and neck, pulling up and back, cinching in the infamous muta lock. John Law immediately drops down and checks for a submission as Amariie screams out in pain.]

Jack Gene - Wow! Jade slapped the taste out of Amariie's mouth there, and then that flip move right into the famous Muta Lock! Amariie is in deep trouble here!

Bill Hughes - I can't believe Jade just bitchslapped Amariie! Some friend Jade is!

[Jade keeps pressure on the hold as Amariie continues to try and fight off the effects of the hold. Law asks her again if she wants to give up but Amariie says no, trying to turn her body so she can get to the ropes. Jade holds firm however and after a few more seconds, Amariie cries out in pain and taps out as John Law stands up and calls for the bell, telling Jade to break the hold, which she does.]

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner and still WMW Shoot Champion, JADE!!!!

Jack Gene - An emphatic win by Jade! She may have set a record for fastest victory in WMW history! Certainly one of the most dominant victories as Amariie had almost no effective offense against her!

Bill Hughes - This won't play well in the DoD. Jade just humiliated a fellow member!

Jack Gene - Perhaps Amariie should have showed Jade a bit more respect in her promo. Jade showcased just how dangerous a competitor she is in this match.

[Jade grabs a mic and slings her Shoot title over her shoulder as she walks over to Amariie.]

Jade - It would seem, my friend, that this is my belt after all. Better luck next time.

[Jade drops the mic by Amariie's head and climbs out of the ring and makes her way to the backstage area.]

WMW Match of the Year (EWTorch.com Segment)

[The shot opens up in the back where John Squires and Stephen Squires sit. Behind them is a wide screen TV with the Blizzard '10 and a shot of the EWZine, EWTorch, EWNexus, AWA and WWA logos.]

Stephen Squires - And we are just moments away from our big main event, the big 7-man competition. But first, we need to look back, once again, to some of the awards that Sault St. Marie was talking about in his press conference yesterday. As you all know, the national media has WMW on the forefront of the radar. So much so, we've been nominated for quite a few awards.

John Squires - List them, Steve. I mean, this is just awesome.

Stephen Squires - Druscilla in the list for Best Heel. Shank for Best Character. Ace Superior Champion Valora Salinas up for the best female fighter. Jack Gene and Bill Hughes? They're up for commentators of the year. Valora vs. Adam Pyre at Burn 2009, it's up for the Match of the Year award. And... the biggest piece of the puzzle? Wrestling Midwest, as a whole, nominated for best wrestling company.

John  Squires - It's brilliant. I mean... Stephen, all of this, it's almost as if the light switch was just turned on, and the spotlight that we've shied away from for the last 5 years have finally caught up to us. All eyes on this little company in Cleveland. And, it's about damn time we accepted it. And we accept it with open arms.

Stephen Squires - The question now is, how will this effect us. If we did win an award like Best Wrestling Company, or if Valora took the Best Female Fighter award, I mean - what will that do for us?

John Squires - Well, simply put, it's a well deserved pat on the back. I mean, we all work very hard here, and for an outsider to look at us and the individuals who make this company work so well, it means a lot. It means that we're not just entertaining ourselves and impressing ourselves, but we're making an impact on the rest of the industry. And that's big.

Stephen Squires - What do you predict for 2010? More accolades?

John Squires - For sure. This is our first year in the running for this type of respect. We can only go up from here.

Stephen Squires - Okay, well, we talked the match that really put the spot lights on us. The match that really helped us turn the corner and be noticed. Valora vs. Adam Pyre at Burn '09 for the Hardcore Championship. We're going to replay that match right now. Stay tuned, coming up afterwards, it's then 7-man Frostbite match to decide both the Ace Superior Champion and the Great Lakes Champion, and you won't want to miss it.

[The shot fades.]

Burn '09 Replay > Valora vs. Adam Pyre for the Hardcore Championship

Written by: Jade

Jack Gene - And now& here we go& we apologize for the slight delay, folks but the crews are out here setting up the cage and fireproofing the ringside area.  Firefighters and EMTs are standing by as this match almost guarantees serious, perhaps career ending injury&

Bill Hughes - Yeah, for those in the front row& it's about to get hot here&literally.

[The cage is set up and the firefighters come out, carefully lining the walls of the cage, while other firefighters prep the ringside area to reduce the danger to the fans as the Ring crew carefully disassemble and reassemble the ring ropes, replacing them with barbed wire.]

Jack Gene - I just& don't know what Valora is looking to prove in this match.  She's picking a match that Adam Pyre invented and made infamous& she's replacing the ring ropes with barbed wire& she is setting herself up in an impossible situation.  Where's the win here, for her?

Bill Hughes - Jack.. you really are an idiot at times.  Valora has always been about living on the edge.  She's a showman err& showwoman& what do showmen do?  They stick to their opponent, they get in their head and get the crowd fired up, they amaze and wow us all& What better way to drill it into your opponent's head that they can't beat you then to beat them in a match they created?  Valora beats the Deathcore icon in a deathcore match that he invented& she leaves him with no choice& he has to admit that she is better.  That's what this comes down to.  Pride.  Pure and simple.  Since her debut here, Valora has sought one thing and one thing only.  Respect.  To make everyone know and acknowledge that she is the best.  She wins here tonight.  The world will notice.

Jack Gene - You make some good points there, Bill.  But it seems like an awful lot to risk for simple pride.

Bill Hughes - 'Simple' Pride?  Listen to yourself, man& no wonder your wife is out looking for real men&

Jack Gene - Anyways& Ladies and Gentlemen, we have to warn you that this match is going to be exceptionally violent in all likelihood.  Young children, those who are squeamish and those with weak hearts should not watch this match we..WHOA!!!

[All of a sudden, the preparations finish and as the crew evacuates the cage is ignited bursting into flames, eliciting an 'OOOOH!' from the crowd.  Wayne Inkster is shown arguing with both Luna Pier and John Law, both official emphatically shaking their head no and gesturing to the cage.]

Bill Hughes - hmm& looks like there's an interesting disagreement between the refs and Inkster& who I notice is staying away from the cage&.

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen& the next match of the night here at Burn 2009 is a Gates of Hell match and it is for the WMW Hardcore Championship!!!  There has been a slight change to this match, however& Referees Luna Pier and John Law are refusing to enter the cage  Therefore& we need to&

[Wayne Inkster is cut off by the STO theme and Sault St. Marie comes out of the back, a not pleased look on his face as he makes his way down to the ring and debates with the referees..]

Jack Gene - Well.. it looks like neither one of the referees wants to get inside the cage& can't say that I blame them, really.. you'd have to be nuts to step inside that thing..

Bill Hughes - but& we can't have our awesome match with no refs!  Tell them to do their damn job!

[Sault St. Marie and Law confer and finally appear to reach a consensus which is then relayed to Wayne Inkster who gets back on the mic.]

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen, WMW Officials Luna Pier and John Law refuse to enter the cage.. therefore the only way to win the match will be by escape from the flaming cage!!!  Both Luna Pier and John Law have been assigned to watch for the escape attempts and to declare the winner.  And now to the match!  Introducing first, the challenger.  Hailing from Long Beach, California.  He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs in at 185lbs.  He is the King of Freaks and a Deathcore Icon&.ADAM PYRE!!!!!

["Freak" by Silverchair blasts from the PA as Adam Pyre makes his way down to the ring. He walks slowly, deliberately, forcing the fans and his opponent to anticipate his entry into the ring. Every so often, his head twitches to the right or left, taking the ringside fans by surprise.  As he makes his way down to the cage, he inspects it carefully darting his hand in and out of the flames, playing, almost taunting the fire as he laughs maniacally and shakes his head before finally stepping inside the cage and making his way into the ring.  Once there he stands in the middle of the ring, inspecting the cage and waiting for his opponent to be announced..  The crowd boos him heavily during all of this but he flips them off, feeding on their hate, calling for more as if to psyche himself up for the match.]

Wayne Inkster - And introducing his opponent.  Hailing from Los Angeles, California.  She stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs in at 150lbs.  She is a member of the Pinnacle of Power, she is also the reigning, and defending WMW Hardcore Champion& WMW's Queen of Extreme& VALORA SALINAS!!!!

[Three big blasts of Pyro explode around the entrance way and 'More Human than Human' by Rob Zombie plays as Valora seems to literally come out through and from the pyro bursts, her Hardcore Championship around her waist as she paces back and forth at the top of the ramp before drawing her 9mm handgun, pointing it into the air and firing 3 shots into the air.]

Jack Gene - JESUS!  Her gun was fully loaded that time!

Bill Hughes - She's looking to prove a point here, Jack&I'll tell you one thing& I would not want to be Adam Pyre right now&

[Valora runs down the rampway, letting the fans pat her on the back and shoulders as she moves, stopping in front of John Law and taking off her Hardcore Championship, handing the belt to him before running towards the stairs and jumping into the ring.  Once she's in, a firefighter in full firefighter gear closes and locks the cage door, backing away quickly..]

Jack Gene - Well& here we go& Valora and Pyre II.  Two Hardcore legends about to battle once more.

Bill Hughes - Match of the Year, right here& Hardcore moment of the Year at the very least&

[The bell rings and Valora and Adam Pyre walk up to the center of the ring, staring at each other.  They exchange words and Adam Pyre swings but Valora ducks coming up with a grin on her face.  Adam swings again and Valora ducks again laughing and shaking her head.  Adam Growls and throws a flurry of punches and Valora ducks dodges and weaves through them before coming up and slapping Adam Pyre in the face.  The crowd laughs a bit as Adam Pyre charges forward but Valora takes him down with a drop toe hold, turning it into an STF.  Adam Pyre cries out in pain as Valora cinches the hold in, holding it for a few second before releasing him and slamming the back of his head with her fist before getting to her feet, pulling Adam Pyre up with her but he counters with a low punch below the belt and jumps to his feet, whipping Valora hard towards the rope yelling out "B & E!" as he follows her in nailing her with his big boot just as she slams back first into the barb wire, the big boot sending her up and over the barbed wire ring rope, cutting into her back as Valora topples over the ropes, into the burning wall of the cage and is quickly sandwiched between the ring ropes and the flaming cage as Adam Pyre grabs the barbed wire rope and presses his foot into Valora's body holding her back to the cage as she screams in agony.]

Jack Gene - OH MY GOD!  You can smell the flesh on Valora's back being seared!  This is sick!

Bill Hughes - Adam's making a mistake though& the heat is going to sterilize and cauterize the cuts on her back.

[Adam finally releases the hold and plays to crowd being booed heavily as Valora rolls into the ring putting herself out and writhing in agony, smoke rising from her body as she slowly tries to get to her feet.  Adam sees her and charges forward, picking her up by her hair and hollering into her face as he slaps her.]

Adam Pyre - GOD DAMN IT!  You want face me in MY match!?  You want Deathcore?!

[Adam Pyre pulls Valora to her feet and jumps into the air spinning Valora around and dropping her forehead first onto the barbed wire roping with a hurrancanrana before running back and then bouncing off the ropes on the other side running up and jumping, landing on Valora's back driving her further into the ropes.  He gets up and walks towards the door, calling for the door to be opened.  Valora stays on the barbed wire, blood pouring down from her forehead as she finally pulls herself off, her face has a good amount of blood on it.  The door is slowly opened and Adam Pyre starts to head towards it when Valora runs forward screaming out and nails him with a dropkick, sending him face first into the burning cage.  As Adam Pyre hollers in pain, Valora hooks him from behind and takes him down with a Tazzmission hold into a suplex, throwing Pyre with such force he lands face first as Valora then jumps up to the top turnbuckle and leaps into the air, landing on Pyre's head with his double stomp, driving his face further into the mat.]

Jack Gene - My God!  Look at Valora's face& she's definitely wearing the proverbial crimson mask now..

Bill Hughes - Oh wow& nice one there JR& got any other old cliches to bore us with?

[In the ring, Valora struggles to her feet and kicks Adam Pyre for good measure to keep him down before looking around and smirking.  She then drops down and gives Adam Pyre the you cant see me gesture before bouncing off the ropes and walking up to him, pausing to make the motion of wiping dirt off her shoulder before dropping her fist square on Adam Pyre's face, which is now bleeding as well.  She starts to pull Adam Pyre to his feet but Pyre counters, taking her to the mat hard with his patented F-bomb move.  Pyre then gets back to his feet, shaking his head and moving over to one of the turnbuckles, dropping to the ground and carefully wiggling under the ropes to reach under the ring, grimacing at the heat and flames licking at his back as he pulls up a pair of special gloves which he then puts on and holds out onto the cage, the gloves quickly igniting and Pyre turns to Valora as she gets back to her feet, a wicked gleam in his eyes as he runs up and punches Valora in the gut with one of his now flaming fists, causing Valora to cry out in pain, before Pyre nails her across the face with a right cross, before hitting a left uppercut to her body and finally hitting her in the throat with his right hand, sending Valora staggering backwards trying to prevent her clothes from igniting.  As she staggers backwards, Adam winds up and goes for the big punch throwing all his force into the punch but Valora rebounds, catching his fist in mid air as she grimaces in pain, the flames burning her hand before she removes her flask of alcohol from her breasts.. Adam's eyes widen in fear as she takes a swig and spits the alcohol into the fire, which roars to life, sending Adam Pyre running around the ring totally engulfed in flame.  Valora, meanwhile withdraws her hand, severely burned and takes her bandanna off wrapping it around her injured hand as she drops to a knee.  Adam Pyre rolls around on the ground, finally extinguishing himself, laying on the mat exhausted and hurt.]

Jack Gene - Will someone stop the damn match before these two kill themselves?!  For the love of all that's Holy!

Bill Hughes - This is an awesome match!  Look at the expressions on their faces!  Neither one is laughing& both competitors have passed their thresholds and are in obvious pain!  We're seeing a first here!

[Valora finally stands up, her left hand heavily wrapped by now and trembling in pain from the damaged nerve endings.  She takes a few steps towards Adam Pyre who all of a sudden jumps to his feet and charges forward, nailing Valora with his Spear, driving her back into the barbed wire ropes where he quickly climbs on the ropes and hammers his fists down on Valora's face before hopping down and pulling her off, walking her to the turnbuckle, setting her up on the top and climbing up after her, looking to the barbed wire ropes with an evil grin.  He then slams Valora face first into the cage pole and then tosses her off of the top turnbuckle gut first onto the top rope before jumping off, hitting his Killing Curse on top of Valora, driving her further onto the ropes as he crumples to the mat and Valora is driven onto the ropes, falling over, getting all tangled up in the barbed wire, blood running from multiple wounds on her body.]

Jack Gene - I think I'm going to be sick&.

Bill Hughes - What?  You can't be&

[The camera cuts briefly to Jack Gene as he ducks behind the desk, vomiting as he's overcome by the sheer violence and brutality of the match.]

Bill Hughes - AWWWW Man!  Not Cool!

[In the ring, Adam Pyre gets up and sees Valora struggling to free herself and smirks evilly hopping back before leaping forward, hitting Valora with a Six Minute Miracle, freeing her from the ropes and sending her into the burning cage once more, causing her to cry out in pain before rolling back into the ring.  Adam Pyre walks towards Valora and prepares to finish her off but then hesitates, looking back to the door, then to Valora, then to the door again, before stomping the mat in frustration and turning to the door, calling for it to be open.  The door opens and Adam Pyre peeks his head out and is about to step onto the stairs when out of nowhere Valora grabs him, pulling him back into the ring, Adam Pyre having an almost desperate look on his face as he tries to jump out but Valora pulls him back in.  The door closes as Valora pulls Adam Pyre into the ring, kicking him in the gut and taking him to the mat hard with a Pedigree.  Valora gets up and quickly slips on her brass knuckles as Adam Pyre gets to his feet.  She then turns around and nails him with a discus punch sending a spray of blood from his face along with a tooth as Pyre topples to the mat.]

Jack Gene - My God!  I think she just broke Adam Pyre's nose!

Bill Hughes - I think so too!  This is a great match!  Now they're both bleeding fairly badly& let's see who drops first..

[Valora drops to a knee momentarily, but then shakes her head, gritting her teeth as she stands up, smirking as she waits for Pyre to get up.  Pyre rolls over to being on all fours and Valora sprints forward, connecting with her punt kick to the side of Adam Pyre's head, sending him flying into the barbed wire.  Seeing him down.  Valora turns and calls for the cage door to open and watches as it's slowly opened.  She makes her way towards the door but as she steps through, Adam Pyre leaps up and grabs Valora by her hair, slowly dragging her back into the ring as the door closes once more.  Adam Pyre kicks Valora in the gut and lifts her up onto his shoulders, grinning as he prepares for his move.  but as he throws her up for his version of the Go to Sleep, Valora counters, spinning him around and planting him with a tornado DDT as the crowd cheers and chants Valora's name, neither wrestler moving on the mat.]

Jack Gene - This match won't end!  There's blood all over the ring!  You have to ask yourself just how much longer these two can go firstly and secondly, no matter who wins this match, you have to ask yourself& who in the WMW will be crazy enough to fight either of these two for the Hardcore Championship?

Bill Hughes - Well, Jack& this is what Hardcore is all about.  How bad do you want the title?  What are you willing to sacrifice to get it?  We're seeing just how badly Valora and Adam Pyre want to be Hardcore Champion right here tonight.  Valora is on the WWR's top wrestler list in 2 different spots, after all!  She's currently number 7 on the women's list and is at number 24 with Mr. Videogame on the Tag Team list.  Adam Pyre is a Deathcore icon striving to prove he's still a threat, and I think he has more then proved that thus far in this match.

[In the ring, both wrestlers slowly get to their feet and just stand toe to toe trading punches, both of them barely able to stand, finally as Adam Pyre throws a punch, Valora ducks under it, running behind Pyre and as he turns around, Valora jumps into the air and nails him with the Trouble in Paradise kick, again sending both wrestlers crashing to the mat where neither moves for a few seconds, before Valora rolls over onto her back, laughing a bit as she reaches into her pocket and pulls out her trademark box cutter as the crowd goes wild.  She crawls over to Adam Pyre and positions herself in a mounted position over him, raining down a couple of stiff right hands right to Pyre's forehead before grabbing his left arm and slicing a long gash into it with her box cutter, causing Adam Pyre to roll and thrash around the mat in pain as Valora fights to her feet and holds the bloody box cutter up in the air to a cheering crowd.  As she does so, Adam Pyre again crawls to a corner and reaches under the ring, digging around for a few seconds before withdrawing a barbed wire 2x4 which he ignites from the cage, turning to Valora as he creeps up behind her before swinging hard, nailing Valora in the middle of her back.  Valora cries out in pain and he swings again, hitting Valora in the back once more and dropping her to her knees as he winds up and swings one final time, the 2x4 breaking in half as the hits her back one final time, sending Valora toppling to the mat, where she writhes in pain, trying to get to her feet.  Adam Pyre pulls her to her feet, hooking her into a front facelock before slamming his knee repeatedly into her face before lifting her up in a vertical suplex maneuver... holding  her there for a good 15 seconds before slamming her to the mat hard.]

Jack Gene - What a display of power there by Adam Pyre!  That vertical suplex had to really take a lot out of Valora's tank.

Bill Hughes - I'd say the flaming barbed wire 2×4 hurt more then a vertical suplex there, Jack.

[In the ring, Pyre makes the 'it's over' motion and calls for the cage to be opened.  He starts towards it as they open the door but Valora grabs his foot and as he turns around, she jumps up nailing him with a European Uppercut, which sends him staggering back a couple of steps and lets Valora get to her feet.  Pyre looks at Valora in abject disbelief as he shakes his head.]

Pyre (Yelling) - God Damn it!  Stay down you crazy bitch!  You wanna die?!

Jack Gene - signs of frustration here from Adam Pyre.. not that I blame him& it does, at times seem like Valora just can't be beaten.

Bill Hughes - It's like the more you hurt her the stronger she gets& she's like a sexy weird version of the Hulk!

Jack Gene - Actually, if you wanted to do comic book characters, I'd say Valora is closer to the Punisher than anyone else.

[In the ring, both wrestlers stare at each other for long moments, each one trying to figure out what they have to do to keep the other down long enough to escape the cage.  The camera zooms in on Valora's face, now totally covered in blood and then switches to Adam Pyre's face, also covered in blood as the two exchange words while on the outside of the ring, Trauma nurses arrive to back up the Paramedics, both groups actively campaigning Sault St. Marie to stop the match.  Sault St. Marie watches the ring intently, studying both of his wrestlers in the ring. As they stare at each other the two walk forward and lock up, jockeying for position.  Pyre tries to hit Valora with a knee to the midsection, but Valora blocks with her own leg, then counters with a knee to Pyre's midsection, slipping behind him and locking in the Tazzmision, locking it in tight as she screams out, tightening her arms around Adam Pyre's neck as she cuts off his oxygen supply, slowly taking him to the mat, locking her legs around his ribs to further drive the air out of him.  Adam Pyre flails around, trying desperately to escape but his movements quickly become slower, slower... slower until finally he stops moving.  Valora leaves the hold on for a few more seconds to be sure and then nods to herself as she starts to crawl across the ring, calling for the cage to be opened.  The door is opened and as Pyre lies unconscious in the ring, Valora slowly crawls under the ropes and through the door, falling face first into a heap on the floor outside the cage.  The bell rings as Pier and Law signal escape from the cage.]

Jack Gene - Valora did it!  She beat Adam Pyre in a match Pyre invented and made famous!  This woman is unbeatable!!!

Bill Hughes - That's my girl!!!

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner and still WMW Hardcore Champion&.VALORA SALINAS!!!!!

[Valora is handed the Hardcore belt by Sault St Marie and she clutches it to her chest, barely conscious herself as she is attended to by paramedics and trauma nurses, who quickly secure her to a stretcher and wheel her towards the back as the other team of them run into the ring to tend to Pyre, taking him out via stretcher as well.]

GLC/ASC Buildup

[The shot opens up in the back where John Squires and Stephen Squires sit. Behind them is a wide screen TV with the Blizzard '10 logo and a shot of Frostbite Brawl participants in the ring.]

Stephen Squires - And we are just moments away from the first ever "Frostbite Brawl" and this exciting match format hopefully will become an annual event for the Blizzard Pay Per View. Tonight's match will feature The Great Lakes Champion Kronin and the Ace Superior Champion Valora defending their titles in the same match against five other challengers. AWS Man and Adam Pyre will join Valora to give That Damn Awesome! three people in the match, Kronin will have his tag team partner Ryven in the match as well and then we have the wild cards in Druscilla and Father Nathan.

John Squires - There will be some special rules for this match as well, as Sault St. Marie outlined in his press conference, before you are eligible to retrieve a briefcase you have to score a pin fall on one of the others in the match and to add to it, if you are pinned you are sent to a penalty box for two minutes, taking you out of the match which should be a huge impact in the match.

Stephen Squires - Exactly and the way the match is shaping up, we have That Damn Awesome! on one side against Kronin and Ryven, the tag team champions on the other side with Father Nathan and Druscilla as more or less the wild card entrants. Add onto that the animosity that has been building between not only Kronin and AWS Man but between Kronin and Valora and then Ryven and Druscilla have a history as well so there is a good chance that it could be four on two with Druscilla helping out That Damn Awesome! to continue her rivalry against Ryven.

John Squires - Good Point there Stephen, but Father Nathan has some history with Kronin as well, and I think Father Nathan will help even those odds, especially since Druscilla and Father Nathan have the most history between all the competitors. I really expect that we will see these feuds re-ignited here tonight.

Stephen Squires - This type of match favors That Damn Awesome! to walk out with at least one of the belts, they have the numbers on their side and if they can work together can really divide and conquer the rest of the field. But that is a big if with the way things have been between That Damn Awesome! members lately.

John Squires - On the other hand, Kronin and Ryven are expected to work well together, and if Father Nathan can work with both of them, that trio can more or less neutralize the impact That Damn Awesome! has in the match. To me the difference maker in this match will be Druscilla, she has experience in multiple person matches, remember she won her Ace Superior title during the Widowmaker Mountain match against Kronin, Fury and Mr. Hero.

Stephen Squires - We could spend on all night going over the various possibilities of sub-match ups of what will be an epic battle. But who are your favorites in this match John?

John Squires - I'm going to have to go with with either AWS Man or Valora grabbing one of the briefcases, the numbers game will just prove to much for the rest of the field to keep them back and I'm going to go with a surprise upset for the second briefcase...I think Father Nathan will end up being overlooked in this match and will be able to grab a briefcase in all the chaos but my true underdog pick would have to be Druscilla, she's primed to make a big impact soon and this match couldn't be the better place to do so in.

Stephen Squires - Picking a member of That Damn Awesome! seems a safe bet, like you said they have the numbers game but Kronin is also a veteran of these multi person matches and with Ryven and Father Nathan's help, he will manage to snag one of the briefcases and for my second pick I have to go with Ryven, what a coup that would be, for Kronin and Ryven to be not only the WMW Tag Team Champions but also the Great Lakes Champion and the Ace Superior Champion.

John Squires - So you think the Tag Champions will pull off the Hail Mary play and grab both prizes, what about Druscilla, Ryven is sure to be in her sights and she seems to have him number right now especially with how Ryven's been acting. Also, like I said, no one gave her a chance to win in Widowmaker's Mountain and she came out the ASC in that match as well. Even Kronin made mention of the fact that he considered Druscilla to be highly underrated here in WMW.

Stephen Squires - Druscilla has all the tools to win this match, but she's going to be out there alone. Everyone else will have backup of some form or another, I just can't see Druscilla being able to weather the storm in this match long enough to grab a case. That match is coming up next in moments, This is Blizzard '10 Stay tuned!

John Squires - Well, before we go to the match, let's take a moment and look at how things can go out here. I think some people really aren't focusing on the potential we have here tonight. I mean no one knows which title is attached to which briefcase, we could see Kronin grab a briefcase but still technically lose and be dropped down to the ASC division as the ASC Champ. We could see Druscilla, Ryven, or even Father Nathan emerge as the Great Lakes Champ! This is truly a match where no one knows or can predict what's going to happen. We also forgot another big rivalry that has formed recently, Ryven and Valora. The two have been at each other's throats and Valora beat Ryen in a brutal match to become Ace Superior Champion down in Mexico City at El Dia De Los Muertos. Interesting trivia fact, I heard the next day, the mayor of Mexico City awarded Valora the key to the city and declared a holiday.

Stephen Squires - Oh, you don't need to remind me of that. Ryven either. But that to me is a scary thought. Forget AWS Man, could you imagine the violent, unstable, sociopathic Valora as our Great Lakes Champion? That could happen. And one would have to ask what would happen to That Damn Awesome! Can AWS Man stand having a stablemate hold his precious GLC?

John Squires - In a word, no. I don't think AWS Man could live with that at all. I shudder to think of Valora as our Great Lakes Champion but she was dead on in that AWS Man is not a team player. If Valora or Adam Pyre win the GLC here tonight, there's going to be a massive struggle for leadership in TDA! The group might not even survive it. But, I also believe that either Adam Pyre or Valora would make better leaders then AWS Man. Valora has shown herself to be an expert at getting inside people's heads. People like to write her off as just a street thug, a hardcore wrestler, but everytime you think you can classify Valora as one thing, she moves and shows she can fit into another category. Look at her resume already. Hardcore Icon, brawler, mixed martial artist, luchadore, high flyer, she has even displayed technical ability too, matching Hecate move for move the last few times the two have met up. Valora is one of those rare wrestlers who shows the ability and potential to excel at all areas of wrestling.

Stephen Squires - I'm curious about one thing, though. Why are you picking Druscilla? She has tools yes, but is there another factor you see here that we might be missing?

John Squires - Well, the Daughters of Darkness scored a major free agent acquisition by convincing Jade to join. Over the holiday break, we saw that all the members of the Daughters of Darkness-except for Amariie- were present in England, Hecate made it clear the DoD was still looking for talent, going out and speaking with Father Nathan's ally, Tera. But the underlying thing here is Jade is coming on strong, hitting her stride and getting her name back on the tip of people's tongues, even more so after that beat down she handed Amariie tonight. Hecate is also a superstar, an up and comer and especially after tonight's performance, could be moving up into higher tiers to compete, I believe this all has had a positive effect on Druscilla as well. The success of her friends, combined with her own desire to not end up like so many British pro wrestlers do, jobbers that have to swallow their pride on almost a nightly basis, has really pushed her to excel and her raw physicality can't be overlooked. Druscilla doesn't back down from anyone and Ryven named her as one of only two people he truly fears in WMW. That has to count for something.

Stephen Squires - Indeed it does, but...let's not focus on that too much. Let's move onto some other people here. Speaking of people Ryven fears, he named the Insane One, AWS Man, as the second of the two people he truly fears in WMW. AWS Man is easily written off as a clown, but he has shown time and time again that he is one of the very best wrestlers WMW has to offer. He won the All-In Challenge last year, defeating Kronin, and in the process lasting from number one all the way through the match. He also managed to hold off Jade and Kronin in a triple threat elimination match to retain the GLC when he last had it, and beat Kronin within an inch of his life in an I quit match that Kronin later came back and won, but still, the bottom line is AWS Man knows how to deliver in the big game and he's made no bones about the fact that he wants his Great Lakes Championship back. Kronin, too, is chuck full of talent and has been on a very impressive rampage. In fact, AWS Man is really the only person who beat Kronin in 2009. His loses to non-AWS Man opponents were very few and very far in between. Bottom line is Kronin wins matches. Period. He is also the best technical wrestler in WMW for my money, and has insane power and strength to combine with that. Final question though, let's get away from individual wrestlers and focus on the match itself. What strategy would you use for a match like this? How do you see this going?

John Squires - Well, having never wrestled, I can only imagine the strategy one might employ in a match like this, but I can see the penalty box being a good thing and a bad thing. Sure, in the penalty box, you can't influence the match at all for 2 minutes but you also get 2 minutes to rest and recover a bit while the other competitors are beating the hell out each other. This should mean that a returning wrestler will be a bit fresher then others and allows for us to see some highlight reel worthy moments and I'm betting there are going to be more the a few highlight reels from this match. Sault St. Marie has laid down the gameplan. WMW has been noticed by the national media and is proving itself to be a viable and quality product. He wants that trend to continue and move up, to that end, he took the very best talent WMW has to offer and threw them into one big match. Judging by the sheer talent factor alone in this match, I think this match is going to be one to remember and I'm going to predict that this match will be a nominee for WMW Match of the year later on this summer.

Stephen Squires - That's a bold prediction, but one I could definitely see playing out. But I'm being told we're ready to start the match so let's go back to Jack and Bill ringside for what promises to be an epic match.

[The shot fades.]

Pyre vs AWS Man vs Druscilla vs Father Nathan vs Kronin vs Ryven vs. Valora

Written by: Jade

Jack Gene - Well, here we go, folks.  Welcome to the first of what we sincerely hope will become an Annual Tradition here in Wrestling Midwest.  The Frostbite Brawl.  The rules are pretty straightforward, so let's take a moment to cover them now.  Every competitor will start off in the ring at the same time, the match itself will be held under a special rules set which goes as follows:  The match is basically going to be divided into two different types of matches.  It will be a pretty much regular match save that weapons and ladders are legal.  The goal is to score a pinfall or submission.  But that does not end the match.  Whoever scores the pinfall or submission becomes eligible to climb a ladder and reach for one of the bags suspended over the ring.  Each bag contains a title belt, one holds the Ace Superior Championship, the other holds the coveted Great Lakes Championship.  Now there is a drawback to being pinned or being forced to tap out, the downside being you are removed from the match for 2 minutes which means, the match could end before that person can get back into the match.  The match will end when both titles have been removed and at that point, the bags will be opened and we will find out who has won what titles.  Who has the advantage in a match like this, Bill?  Who are your picks?

Bill Hughes - Well, this match is totally new to WMW.  To my knowledge, this is also the first time that everyone here has competed in a match like this, but my first pick has to be Valora.  This match seems to be right up her alley, and for my second pick, I'm gonna go with AWS Man.  There are three members of That Damn Awesome! here and I think we're going to see them work together.

Jack Gene - That would be a first.

Bill Hughes - Alright smartass, who are your picks?

Jack Gene - I think...Kronin and Valora, but we're all picking the mainstream top tier talent, who are your surprise picks?

Bill Hughes - For my upset pick...Druscilla.  The woman is highly underrated.

Jack Gene - I'll take Ryven as my upset pick.  He's due for a rebound and Kronin will be looking to help his partner out.

[The camera shifts to the ring where Wayne Inkster stands as the two briefcases are raised over the ring.  By the announce booth stand two pedestals.  One holds the Great Lakes Championship and the other holds the Ace Superior Championship.  Wayne Inkster glances over at the stands, surrounded by WMW security and nods as he raises his microphone.]

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is your main event of the evening for Blizzard 2010 and it is the first annual Frostbite Brawl match to determine both the Great Lakes and Ace Superior Champions!

[Crowd cheers loudly as 'WMW! WMW! WMW!' chants break out and Wayne Inkster continues.]

Wayne Inkster - The rules of this match, are as follows. All competitors will be in the ring at the same time once the match starts.  They will compete until a pinfall or submission is scored.  At that time, the wrestler who scores the pinfall or submission will become eligible to remove one of the two briefcases suspended 15ft off the mat.  Inside those briefcases is a slip of paper revealing which title the briefcase represents.  The wrestler who was pinned or made to submit, will be sent to our penalty box area for 2 minutes, during which time they can not take part in the match in any way, shape or form.  The match will end when both briefcases have been removed by an eligible wrestler and we will then learn who has won which title!  Now without further ado, here are the competitors in the first ever Frostbite Brawl match!!

[Crowd cheers loudly again.]

Wayne Inkster - Introducing first, hailing from Long Beach, California.  He stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs in at 222lbs.  He is the King of Freaks and a member of That Dam Awesome!, ADAM PYRE!!!!

['Freak' by Silverchair plays and Pyre walks out, his usual sadistic grin on his face as he flips the crowd off as they boo him.  He makes his way down to the ring, glancing at the title belts before heading to ringside where he slides into the ring and snatches the mic away from Wayne Inkster.]

Adam Pyre - Hey!  Get it right!  I'm 6'5 with the mohawk!

[He throws the mic back to Wayne Inkster, who looks confused and then shakes his head, moving on.]

Wayne Inkster - Introducing the next competitor, hailing from Freakville, North Carolina.  He stands 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs in at 236lbs.  He is a former Great Lakes Champion and the leader of That Damn Awesome!  He is AWS MAN (Also Known as Bill)!!!

[3.14 by Bloodhound Gang plays over the speakers and AWS Man comes out, carrying Pen as usual.  He pauses and looks over the ring, ignoring the boos of the crowd as he makes the way to the ring and slides in, looking at Pyre as he moves to his corner.]

Jack Gene - Well, two of our competitors are in the ring now and hard to tell anything from the looks Pyre and AWS Man exchanged as they got into the ring.

Bill Hughes - Well duh.  They aren't going to give anything away just yet.  They're both veterans after all.

Wayne Inkster - Introducing next.  Hailing from London, England.  She stands 6 feet tall and weighs in 220lbs.  She is a former Ace Superior Champion and a member of the Daughters of Darkness.  She is DRUSCILLA!!!!

[The lights in the arena dim and Druscilla's voice speaks over the PA saying.  "England Prevails!"  'Can Die No More' by Lake of Tears then plays over the PA and Druscilla walks out slowly, holding her chalice and stands at the entranceway, looking down her nose at the ring, a smug sneer on her face.  The crowd boos but Druscilla ignores it as she makes her way down the ramp towards the ring.  When she gets there, she sets her chalice aside and climbs into the ring, giving a sideways glance to Adam Pyre and AWS Man as she leans back against one of the turnbuckles and glances towards the entrance, waiting to see the next entrant.]

Wayne Inkster - And introducing the next competitor.  Hailing from Dublin, Ireland.  He stand 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs in at 250lbs.  He is the conscience of WMW, FATHER NATHAN!!!!

[The lights in the arena dim again and 'Elembivos' by Eluveitie plays over the PA as Father Nathan walks out, carrying his cross and pauses at the ovation from the fans who jump to their feet, cheering.  Father Nathan nods to the crowd and walks down to the ringside area, setting up his cross before kneeling down and praying.  As he does so, the 'Father Nathan' prayer rises up from the crowd.  When he is done, Father Nathan remains near his cross and looks to the entryway.]

Jack Gene - And we now have Father Nathan and Druscilla added to the mix.  These two have a long history too and we look forward to seeing them settle the score in this match.

Bill Hughes - Pfft.  Father Nathan doesn't belong in this match.  He's just filler.  No one actually expects him to win one of those titles tonight.

Jack Gene - Father Nathan does.

Bill Hughes - Which is one of the many things that makes him an idiot.

Wayne Inkster - And introducing next.  Hailing from Chicago, Illinois.  He stands 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs in at 275lbs.  He is the reigning and defending Great Lakes Champion and one half of the Tag Team Champions.  He is also a member of the Pinnacle of Power and is the Master of Rock and Shock, KRONIN!!!!!

['Freya' by the Sword plays over the PA and a blast of pyro goes off, and the crowd erupts into cheers as Kronin and Lilly rise from the middle of the entryway.  Lilly wears the armor of a Valkyrie and Kronin is on a knee in front of her, staring at the floor.  Lilly stands up and places a hand on Kronin's shoulder and points towards the ring.  Kronin stands and hops up into the air, driving his fist into the ground as a huge explosion of pyro goes off behind him and he makes his way down to the ring, looking around the arena as he makes his way to the ring.  He then slides into the ring and comes to his feet as he and AWS Man glare at each other from across the ring.  Kronin then climbs the turnbuckle and holds up his fist as the crowd goes nuts.]

Wayne Inkster - And introducing the next competitor.  Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio.  He stands 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs in at 205lbs.  He is a former Ace Superior Champion and the other half of the WMW Tag Team Champions.  He is also a member of the Pinnacle of Power.  The Mentalist of WMW RYVEN!!!!!

['Grounds for Divorce' by Elbow plays and Ryven walks out to a moderate reception from the crowd.  Ryven pauses at the top of the entryway, examining the layout of the ring and then nods to crowd as they cheer and makes his way down to the ring, sliding into the ring and standing next to Kronin, the two men talking to each other in apparent plan making.]

Jack Gene - And the WMW Tag Team champions are now in the ring and seem to be making no effort to hide that they mean to work together.  After all, there are two titles and two of them, so this match is perfect for teamwork.

Bill Hughes - Until Ryven's ego decides he's had enough of being seen as Kronin's lackey and he stabs his so called friend in the back.

Wayne Inkster - And introducing the final competitor in this match.  Hailing from Los Angeles, California.  She stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs in at 160lbs.  She is the reigning and defending WMW Ace Superior Champion and is also a member of That Damn Awesome!  She is WMW's Queen of Extreme, VALORA!!!!

['Prayer' by Disturbed plays over the PA and the crowd erupts into big cheers as Valora walks out, coming to a stop looking out over the ring and crowd with her usual bored, confident expression on her face.  After standing there a moment, she makes her way down the ramp, making a detour and walking over to the stand holding the Great Lakes Championship and looks to Kronin, pointing to the belt yelling out 'That's mine!'  Kronin responds by narrowing his eyes and urging Valora into the ring.  Valora smirks and charges the ring, Father Nathan entering as well as Wayne Inkster slides out of the ring and Luna Pier calls for the bell as the brawl kicks off.  Father Nathan makes a bee line for Druscilla and the two start trading punches.  Kronin and AWS Man end up pairing off as Ryven cuts Valora off and the two of them trade punches as Adam Pyre leans back in the corner and watches the action unfold.]

Jack Gene - And we're underway here folks!  The first annual Frostbite Brawl is off and running!

Bill Hughes - This is going to be an awesome match!

[Ryven pulls Valora to her feet and whips her towards the corner that Adam Pyre is in.  Adam grins and runs out, holding his hand out.  Valora grabs Pyre's hand and hops up, running along the ropes a bit until she hits the corner and jumps, spinning around catching Ryven as he ran in and taking him down with a head scissors.  Adam Pyre plays to the crowd before he is knocked inside out by Kronin who takes him down with a running clothesline.  AWS Man charges after Kronin but Kronin cuts him off with a boot to the gut and and lifts him up for a powerbomb but Valora dives in and takes Kronin down with a chop block to the back of his knee.  AWS Man lands on top of Kronin and immediately goes for the cover, but Kronin kicks out before Luna Pier can even get into position to count.  On the other side of the ring, Druscilla nails Father Nathan with a knee to the midsection and then hits him with a European uppercut that sends Father Nathan reeling backwards.  She then charges forward and nails Nathan with a big time clothesline sending him to the mat.  Druscilla holds up both hands into the air and basks in the crowd's boos.]

Jack Gene - And this is already shaping up like a hard match to follow here folks.  We're do our best to bring you all the action here.

Bill Hughes - And you forgot to mention that That Damn Awesome! has been working all together so far.

[Druscilla pulls Father Nathan to his feet, lifting him up and hitting him with a backbreaker before yelling out and tossing him over her shoulders with a fallaway slam.  As Druscilla gets to her feet, Ryven charges her but at the last second, Druscilla turns around and grabs Ryven, twirling him around for a full three revolutions before slamming him onto Father Nathan.  Druscilla then looks over and runs across the ring, grabbing AWS Man in a full Nelson position before shifting to almost a Cobra Clutch hold and lifting AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) up and taking him to the mat with back suplex like slam.  Druscilla lays on the mat, getting to a knee slowly meanwhile Kronin jumps to his feet nailing Adam Pyre with a big right hand, then a left hand, then another right hand before whipping Pyre into the corner.  Valora runs and nails Druscilla in the side of the head with a dropkick, sending Dru to the mat and then turns to Kronin, but Kronin is ready and the two grapple, starting with a collar and elbow tie up.  Valora tries for a hammerlock but Kronin reverses, spinning Valora around and grabbing her around the waist for a German Suplex, but Valora spins out of the move grabbing Kronin a full nelson but Kronin powers Valora up, trying for a snapmare like takeover but Valora lands on her feet and turns to face Kronin as the crowd applauds the display of technical wrestling skills.  Kronin nods his head to Valora in respect and then grabs Valora's hand and whips her into the corner...and into Adam Pyre.  Kronin runs in place feigning to build up speed before charging in full speed into the corner and nailing both Valora and Adam Pyre with a big body splash.  As he backs out, Valora staggers out of the corner as Adam Pyre falls to the mat.  Valora staggers trying to keep her balance, throwing a few punches at air before falling Flair style head first into Pyre's groin.  Kronin plays air guitar and holds his hand up into the air, bringing a loud cheer from the crowd.]

Jack Gene - Well we're going full speed now, folks!  Druscilla took out Father Nathan and Ryven and then took AWS Man down with an impressive move.  Druscilla is obviously looking to continue and build on her big win over Audrie McLaughlin at Darwin's Revenge '09.  But how bout that exchange between Kronin and Valora, folks?  Valora matched the technical wrestling master of WMW move for move there!

Bill Hughes - Well she was an All-American wrestling in college.  I'd expect someone with that honor to have some degree of technical wrestling skill.  Besides, it's Valora and we all know she's not human.  She's said so.

Jack Gene - Yeah well, I'd say Kronin got the better of the exchange given how Valora and Adam Pyre ended up.

Bill Hughes - Well we don't know how Adam and Valora get down.  That might have just been an early start to tonight's private time for them.

[Adam Pyre gets to his feet, gritting his teeth and helps Valora to her feet and yells out 'B & E Mother Fucker!'  Kronin turns just in time to get belted with Adam Pyre's big boot, sending him to the mat and Valora runs after Pyre, nailing Kronin with her I.C.E. Breaker punt kick to the head.  Pyre points to the ropes and hollers instructions at Valora.  As Druscilla gets to her feet, Adam Pyre jumps and nails her with a Six Minute Miracle, sending her back to the mat as Valora bounces off the ropes and runs towards Kronin, hitting him with a standing running shooting star press, going right into the cover but Kronin kicks out after a count of  about one and a half and Valora gets to her knees, shaking her head, grabbing Kronin by the head and raining punches on his face until AWS Man pulls Valora off and says something to her.  Valora nods and runs to the turnbuckles climbing up to the top.  AWS Man pulls Kronin to his feet and the two exchange right hands for a few seconds before AWS Man nails Kronin with a knee to the midsection and lifts Kronin up, going for a Drop you on your Freakin' face! (Emerald Fusion)  But as he gets Kronin up, Ryven charges in and dives, hitting AWS Man in the back of the knee with a chop block as Kronin counters the move into a reverse DDT.  Ryven comes to his feet, just in time to get nailed with a missile drop kick from Valora who immediately hops onto the ropes and goes for a moonsault but Ryven gets his knees up, blocking the move as Valora lands on him.  Adam Pyre turns to run into the fray but Father Nathan spins him around and nails Adam Pyre with a brutal combination of punches to the head and body before whipping Adam Pyre into the ropes, catching him as he comes off the ropes and plants him onto the mat with a big spinebuster.]

Jack Gene - My God!  This match is insanely fast paced so far!  For those having trouble keeping up with the action, Pyre, Valora and AWS Man continued their teamwork, with Pyre and Valora taking Kronin down with their B & E Special move.  Adam Pyre nailed Druscilla with a Six Minute Miracle after that and then-

Bill Hughes - All hell broke loose.

Jack Gene - ...Basically, yes.

[In the ring, people slowly pull themselves to their feet and break into three groups.  On one side of the ring, Kronin, Ryven and Father Nathan stand.  On the opposite side of the ring, Valora, AWS Man and Adam Pyre stand, looking across at their foes.  Druscilla, meanwhile has rolled out onto the floor and shakes her head, trying to clear her head from the blows that Valora and Adam Pyre doled out.  AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) steps out and points to Kronin, calling him out.  Kronin narrows his eyes and steps forward and the two men lock up in a collar and elbow tie up, but Kronin quickly takes control, locking AWS Man in a side headlock.  AWS Man shrugs Kronin off and sends him into the ropes but Kronin hits the ropes hard and leaves his feet, slamming into AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) with a massive flying shoulder block that sends AWS Man flying back to the ropes and through them, causing him to topple to the mat next to Druscilla.  Ryven charges towards Valora but Valora smirks and rolls out of the ring, reaching under the ring.  Ryven slides to a stop and reaches through the ropes and grabs Valora by the hair but she responds by grabbing a solid metal baking sheet out and swings with all her strength, cracking Ryven in the head, the dull thud sound echoing through the WMW Arena as Ryven slumps back to a sitting position, a small cut on his forehead and Valora smirks, tossing the now dented cookie sheet aside.  Father Nathan charges Adam Pyre and tries for a spear but Adam Pyre leap frogs over Father Nathan and as Nathan hits the ropes and comes back, Adam Pyre takes him onto his shoulders and tries for a Go Insane but Father Nathan reverses it and locks in a Dragon sleeper on Adam Pyre.  Valora sees this and reaches into her pocket and puts on her brass knuckles, climbing to the top rope and leaping off, nailing Father Nathan with a flying punch with her brass knuckled hand, sending Nathan to the mat hard, where he rolls out of the ring onto the floor.]

Jack Gene - My God!  Valora has decided to go hardcore here!  Did you hear how hard she cracked Ryven with that metal sheet?  And then she went airborne and nailed Father Nathan with brass knuckles!  That has to be some kind of major sin, I would think.

Bill Hughes - I love Valora!  I figured with the lax rules we'd see a return of the hardcore queen and she has not disappointed so far.

[On the floor, Druscilla pulls AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) to his feet but AWS Man counters with a punch to the gut and reaches out, grabbing Pen and takes Druscilla down with a spear before repeatedly slapping Druscilla with Pen.  In the ring, Valora jumps to her feet and makes the 'you can't see me' gesture over Father Nathan's face and runs to the ropes, but as she hits the ropes, Kronin nails her with a clothesline, sending Valora toppling over the ropes and landing on top of AWS Man and Druscilla, breaking up the slap the freak around move.  Adam Pyre spins Kronin around and tries for a punch, but Kronin blocks the punch, kicks Pyre in the gut and hits the Death by Metal causing the crowd to explode into loud cheers as Kronin goes right for the cover and Pier makes the count 1.....2....3!]

Wayne Inkster - Kronin is now eligible to grab a title and Adam Pyre is sent to the penalty box for 2 mins!

Jack Gene - Wow!  Just like that, Kronin hits the Death by Metal and is now in a position to grab one of the titles!

Bill Hughes - Don't worry, AWS Man and Valora won't be far behind.  Druscilla will likely take advantage of one less member of That Damn Awesome for a couple minutes as well.

[On the floor, AWS Man pulls Valora to her feet and gets in her face, asking what the hell she was doing but Valora pie faces him and pushes him away, diving into the ring and tries to break the pinfall up before Adam is eliminated for 2 mins, but gets there just after the three count.  Valora growls and slams her hand into the mat in frustration.  Both her and Kronin get to their feet and Kronin swings at her but Valora ducks under the punch and leaves her feet, jumping up and nailing Kronin with her brass knuckles, sending Kronin staggering backwards.  Valora chases in after him and jumps onto his shoulders, spinning around and slamming him face first into the mat with her hurrancanrana face crusher.  Valora then jumps to her feet and bounces off the ropes, slowing up as she walks towards Kronin, dusts her shoulder off and slams her fist into Kronin's face.  On the floor, AWS Man glares at Valora but shakes his head and climbs the top turnbuckle pointing to Druscilla's prone body and jumps off, trying for a shooting star press, but misses as Druscilla rolls away and up to her feet, narrowing her eyes as she watches AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) crash and burn.]

Jack Gene - Valora starting to build momentum against the GLC, Kronin.  A lot of fans have wanted to see Kronin and Valora get in the ring one on one and while we're still being denied that dream matchup, these two are continuing the rivalry they've been building for some time now.  Outside the ring we have AWS Man Win the Freakin' Matchifier!  No!  Druscilla moved!  Wow!  What a match!

Bill Hughes - This is not good!  First AWS Man ticked Valora off and prevented her from saving Adam Pyre and now he misses his win the freakin' matchifier!  AWS Man needs to get going and quickly here!

[As AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) tries to get to his feet, Druscilla charges in and lifts him up onto her shoulders, holding him there for a moment before taking AWS Man to the floor hard with her version of the F-5.  Druscilla rolls AWS Man over and goes for the cover, but Father Nathan pulls Druscilla off, kicking her in the gut and then backing up a few steps before running forward and hitting Druscilla with a scissors kick, taking her to the ground hard.  Ryven moves over next to AWS Man and pulls him to his feet, lifting him up and ramming him back first into the steel ring post before turning around, turning AWS Man into a powerslam position and running forward, slamming AWS Man down with a running powerslam.  Ryven goes for the cover and Luna Pier slides out of the ring to make the count 1....2....3no!  Valora comes flying out of nowhere, landing on top of Ryven with a 450 splash, breaking up the pinfall attempt.  Meanwhile, Kronin rolls out of the ring on the other side and makes his way over to a ladder, folding it up and turning towards the ring and moving towards it, sliding the ladder inside and following it, setting the ladder up under briefcase number 1.]

Jack Gene - My God!  It looked like Druscilla would be the second person eligible to win here and in very impressive fashion by taking AWS Man down with her Dark Sacrifice, but Father Nathan broke that up, taking Druscilla down with a scissors kick.  Ryven tried to capitalize on AWS Man but Valora came out of nowhere and broke up the pinfall after that brutal combination of moves from Ryven.

Bill Hughes - Yeah, how the hell did she even do that, Jack?  Truck guys, show us a replay!

[The camera cuts to a replay screen and we see Valora run to the ropes, jump onto the top rope and springboard off into her 450 splash.]

Jack Gene - Love her or hate her, Valora has an insane amount of talent and is willing to risk everything in every match she's in.  But Kronin is going for the win here, folks!

Bill Hughes -  No!  Someone stop him!

[Kronin sets up the ladder and begins his ascent as Valora gets to her feet, celebrating before turning and noticing Kronin and running forward, sliding into the ring and making a run up the ladder, the crowd's roar rising as she catches Kronin just as his hands grab hold of the briefcase.  The two trade punches back and forth and then grab hold of each other, gingerly stepping up the ladder until they are both on the top rung of their respective sides, the other competitors joining the crowd in stopping their brawling and looking up at Valora and Kronin.  At the penalty box, John Law checks his watch and nods, opening the door and letting Adam Pyre out.  Adam walks out of the box and looks up at Valora and Kronin, a sadistic grin on his face as he yells up at Valora.  "Go for it!  Take his ass out!"]

Jack Gene - And Adam Pyre's 2 minutes are up!  He's back into a match that has stopped dead in it's tracks to watch Kronin and Valora, both of whom are in dangerous territory at the moment..

Bill Hughes - I think we're about to have our first extreme moment of 2010, Jack...

[Valora grabs Kronin with one hand and uses her other hand to smash him in the face with the briefcase.  She then pulls him into a sitting position on the very top rung of the ladder while locking him in a headlock position, tucking his head under her shoulder as she clasps her hands behind his back almost in a bearhug style hold before smirking sadistically and whispering something in Kronin's ear before lifting up quickly, and turning, letting Kronin's weight do all of the work as she hops off the ladder and hits him with a voodoo drop type move from the top of the ladder, going right into the cover as she falls on top of Kronin after the violent impact that leaves the crowd chanting 'Holy Shit!  Holy Shit!  Holy Shit!'  Luna Pier drops down and makes the count 1.....2.....3!]

Wayne Inkster - Valora is now eligible to grab a briefcase and Kronin is sent to the penalty box for 2 mins!

Jack Gene - Holy... Cow is right!  She nearly killed Kronin with that move!  My God folks!  Valora has just pinned the Great Lakes Champion!  And for 2 minutes, she is the only one who can remove a briefcase, putting her in prime spot to do just that!

Bill Hughes - Yeah well... she has to be able to move first.  She hasn't moved much since she hit the mat either.  I think that big time move hurt Valora as much as it did Kronin.

[Druscilla slides into the ring as Valora tries to get to her feet and grabs Valora from behind, kissing her full on the lips before lifting Valora straight up into the air by the arms and slamming Valora face first into the mat the impact bringing another 'oooooh!' from the crowd as well as boos when Druscilla turns Valora over and pins her, grinding her elbow into Valora's face as she pins her.  Pier makes the count 1.....2....3!  Outside the ring, Father Nathan turns AWS Man around and punches him square in the paintball mask and then tries to whip AWS Man into the steel steps but AWS Man (Also Known as Bill) reverses and sends Father Nathan shoulder first into the steel steps.  Adam Pyre slides into the ring, trying to break up the pinfall attempt of Druscilla but just misses getting there and pulls Druscilla up, hitting her with his throat thrust, sending Druscilla staggering back, trying to catch her breath.  He tries for a six minute miracle but Druscilla catches the foot and smirks before Adam Pyre jumps up and nails her with an enziguri kick to the back of the head, taking Druscilla to the mat.]

Wayne Inkster - Druscilla is now eligible to win the match and Valora is sent to the penalty box for 2 minutes!

Jack Gene - Well, you turned out to be right, partner.  Druscilla snuck in there and took advantage and scored herself a pinfall over Valora.  Valora has been helped to the penalty box and has slumped down sitting next to Kronin.  This two minute break helps them out, I think.  It will give them both time to recover from that big time move that Valora just hit.

Bill Hughes - Yeah, and even if Druscilla manages to grab a briefcase, there is still going to be one left for Kronin or Valora to grab when they come out.

[Adam Pyre pulls Druscilla to her feet, but Druscilla counters with a low blow and then jumps to her feet, hitting Adam Pyre with a European uppercut, sending Pyre to the mat hard.  Druscilla backs up, a wicked smirk on her face as Adam Pyre struggles to get back to his feet, Druscilla then charges and nails Adam Pyre in the side of his head with a running knee strike.  Druscilla pulls Adam Pyre to his feet and whips him into the ropes and then telegraphs the back drop move, giving Adam Pyre an opening to kick Druscilla in her face, standing her up and dazing her for a moment.  Adam Pyre looks outside the ring and sees AWS Man pulling Father Nathan to his feet and Ryven heading over to get into the fray and smirks before charging the ropes, diving over the ropes, taking all three men out with a big time suicide dive.  As Adam gets off the pile, he glances up at the ladder and smirks evilly as he looks towards Valora in the penalty box and points to the ladder.]

Adam Pyre - Watch this, baby!

[Adam Pyre slides into the ring and glances over at Druscilla, who has retreated into the corner and is catching her breath, and nods as he moves the ladder to right near the ropes and climbs up the ladder, pointing to the three competitors on the floor and does the Joker thing yelling out "Here.  We....GO!"  Before leaping off the ladder, hitting all three opponents on the floor with his corkscrew moonsault legdrop, leaving all four men down and not moving much.]

Jack Gene - Holy Cow!  Adam Pyre hit his killing joke move off the top of the ladder onto the floor, hitting AWS Man, Father Nathan and Ryven!  It looks like a car accident at ring side!

Bill Hughes - Well, Adam Pyre did mention that he's tired of being written off as a joke and a non-factor.  We're seeing him take out his frustrations on WMW's elite tonight.  I also think he's trying to prove something to Valora.

[Druscilla comes out of her corner and looks around at the carnage and laughs, a smug, arrogant smirk on her face as she grabs the ladder and positions it under the briefcases before climbing up the ladder and reaching up, taking hold of briefcase number 1 and tugging on it, finally removing it from the hooks and climbing down the ladder, holding the briefcase over her head as the boos ring in heavily from ringside.]

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen, Druscilla has captured one of the title briefcases!

Jack Gene - Wow!  Druscilla took advantage of the situation there, the only other two fighters who could have taken a briefcase are in the penalty box!

Bill Hughes - Brilliant!  Druscilla out-thought everyone!  She let Adam wipe out himself and the competition and then climbed up the ladder and now Druscilla is guaranteed to be a champion at the end of the night!  That means either Valora or Kronin just lost their title!  Can you imagine if Druscilla is holding the Great Lakes Title now?

[Wayne Inkster comes over and grabs the briefcase from Druscilla and walks over to the announce booth and sets it on the desk, putting a card with Druscilla's name on it.  As he does so, the bell rings and John Law opens the penalty box and a very pissed off Kronin steps out, narrowing his eyes as he looks straight at Druscilla.]

Jack Gene - Kronin back in the match now and he does not look happy.  He realizes he may have just lost the Great Lakes Championship.  I damn sure would not want to be Druscilla right about now!

Bill Hughes - You know what this also spells the end of?  Ryven and Kronin's alliance.  You can bet your ass that Ryven the wonder punk will be looking to take that second and only remaining belt for himself.

[Druscilla stands in the ring and eggs Kronin into the ring.  The crowd jumps to it's feet cheering for Kronin as 'Kronin!' chants break out and Kronin runs and slides into the ring, coming to his feet and meeting Dru as the two go punch for punch.  Meanwhile, on the floor, Adam Pyre grabs a new ladder and positions it on the floor, moving up to make a makeshift ramp, resting on the top of the ring ropes, leading from the penalty box into the ring.  He looks to Valora and they both nod and Pyre pulls a Steel Chair from under the ring and slides it into the ring.  Kronin glances back at the chair and Druscilla kicks him in the groin, before moving behind Kronin and taking him to the mat with a German Suplex.  Druscilla gets to her feet, and looks to the timer and grabs the chair and stares down at Valora as she waits for the penalty box to open.  John Law opens the door as the timer reaches zero and the bell rings and Valora runs up the ladder, jumping into a cartwheel as Druscilla swings the chair, jumping over the swing attempt, which finds Ryven's head as he climbs up onto the apron to try and get back into the match.  Ryven staggers backwards from the blow and Pyre catches him as he falls off the apron, positioning Ryven and hitting the Go Insane on him.  Back in the ring, Valora lands on her feet and immediately jumps into a pele kick, nailing Druscilla in back of the head and sending her over the top rope to the floor.  Valora turns around and sees Kronin, as she quickly steps through the ropes onto the apron, grabbing the ropes, she jumps up and springboards off the top rope, flying through the air, going for a flying forearm shot but Kronin catches her in mid air and roars out as he charges forward and powerbombs Valora into the top turnbuckle, causing Valora to crumple into a heap in the corner by the turnbuckle.]

Jack Gene - ....I give up.  I don't even know where to begin with what we just witnessed.

Bill Hughes - Jack... that action segment right there is why those four people are among the very best WMW has to offer.

Jack Gene - You're right about that, Bill.  Druscilla and Kronin going punch for punch, Adam Pyre laying out the ramp for Valora, Druscilla tried to knock Valora out and had she hit Valora with that chair shot, Valora would be out of the match, but Valora showed her amazing athletic ability and avoided the shot, which found Ryven instead and to make matters worse, Ryven fell back onto Pyre, who hits the Go Insane.  Ryven seems to be pretty much out of it at the moment after that.

Bill Hughes - Yeah, but that was only half the action.  While Pyre was knocking wonder punk out, Valora hit her feet and was right back into the air, hitting Druscilla in back of the head with the pele, sending Druscilla out to the floor.  Valora then tried for a springboard flying forearm shot, but Kronin caught her and powerbombed her into the turnbuckle.  I swear with how fluidly Valora moves through the air, she has to be part bird.

[Pyre pulls Ryven to his feet and drags him to the ring, rolling him in and sliding in after him and grins, exploding towards Kronin, going for the Boom spear but Kronin jumps up and leap frogs Pyre charging full into the ropes and bouncing back towards Adam Pyre who hits the ropes on the other side and Kronin leaves his feet, nailing Adam Pyre dead center in the chest, sending Pyre flying back to the ropes and out to the floor at ringside.  On the other side of the ring on the floor, Father Nathan has made his way over to Druscilla and pulled her to her feet, trading punches with her.  AWS Man looks around and slides into the ring, covering Ryven.  Luna Pier makes the count 1.....2... Kronin dives in trying to break up the count but AWS Man rolls out of the way, causing Kronin to land on Ryven instead.  AWS Man pulls Kronin to his feet and and whips him to the corner where Valora is getting to her feet.  Valora sees him coming and takes Kronin down with a drop toe hold, sending him face first into the turnbuckle.  AWS Man climbs the other turnbuckle as Ryven rolls around, trying to recover.  AWS Man leaps off of the turnbuckle and nails Ryven with a Shooting Star Press, going right into the cover.  Luna Pier makes the count 1....2......3!]

Wayne Inkster - AWS Man is now eligible to remove a briefcase and Ryven has been sent to the penalty box for 2 minutes!

Jack Gene - Wow!  Win the freakin' matchifier!  AWS Man came out of nowhere and stole a pin and now he can claim to that last title belt, folks.

Bill Hughes - And wonder punk is out of the match for 2 minutes. Even better.

[Outside the ring, Father Nathan and Druscilla continue to brawl but Father Nathan buries a knee to the gut of Druscilla and then hits her with a sharp European Uppercut.  Nathan darts in and kicks Druscilla in the gut, lifting her up onto his shoulders and rolling forward, driving his shoulders into her with a forward Samoan roll, but he keeps the hold on and grunts out as he lifts her up with him, lifting her up into a fireman's carry.  He's about to go for the Go To Sleep when Pyre runs in out of nowhere as Nathan is still bent forward a bit and nails Father Nathan with an RKO style cutter.  Pyre jumps up to his feet and plays to the crowd, basking in the boos as he pulls Druscilla to her feet, but Druscilla counters with a low blow before nailing Pyre with a European Uppercut.  Valora gets up and runs across the ring and leaps over the ropes trying for an aerial attack but Druscilla catches Valora, and lifts her up onto her shoulders in a torture rack position as Pyre gets to his feet and charges forward.  Druscilla nails him with a big boot, sending him back to the floor and then runs forward a bit, dropping down onto Pyre's chest as she thrusts her shoulders up into Valora's back sending Valora flying off Dru to the body.]

Jack Gene - Broken on the Rack from Dru!  At the same time she dropped down onto Pyre!  Pyre had been making a comeback in the match, taking Father Nathan out with a RKO-like cutter move as Nathan was trying to nail his Go to Sleep on Druscilla.

Bill Hughes - Bet you Pyre is wishing he had let Father Nathan hit the Go To Sleep on Dru now though.

[AWS Man climbs to his feet and makes his way over to the ladder and begins to climb up the ladder, the crowd booing as he makes his way for the case and AWS Man reaches out for the briefcase, pausing as he sees Kronin get to his feet and rush up the ladder, the two meet at the top and trade punches back and forth before AWS Man grabs the briefcase and slams the briefcase into Kronin's face, stunning him for a moment and then tries to pull the briefcase out before Kronin recovers and grabs AWS Man, pulling him close into position for a Vertical Suplex position.  Kronin then looks around, at the crowd and holds up his hand with pinky and thumb extended and the crowd cheers loudly as Kronin lifts AWS Man up as if for a vertical suplex, but then turns around and jumps off the ladder, hitting the Hellevator on AWS Man from the top of the ladder as both men land with a thundering impact on the mat, both men hit hard, AWS Man arching his back and rolling over onto his side, Kronin hitting the mat so hard he bounces up to his knees before falling back face first onto the mat and then rolling out of the ring onto the floor.  The crowd cheers loudly and begins chanting 'This is awesome!  This is Awesome!']

Jack Gene - My God!  Metal Meltdown!  Metal Meltdown from the top of the ladder!  I think Kronin just killed AWS Man with that move!

Bill Hughes - And himself too!  God, did you hear how hard they hit the mat?  This is what the ASC and GLC belts mean to these competitors!  This is how bad people want to climb to the top of the mountain and stay on top of the mountain.

[Adam Pyre slides into the ring as Valora and Dru brawl on the outside of the ring, the loud thud of Druscilla hitting the steel steps echoing in the distance as Valora reverses a whip attempt from Druscilla.  As Pyre looks around, he sees AWS Man lying on the mat and grins, running and sliding over, covering AWS Man as Luna Pier makes the count 1....2.....3!]

Wayne Inkster - Ladies and Gentlemen, Adam Pyre is eligible to climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase and AWS Man is sent to the penalty box for 2 minutes.

Jack Gene - And...Adam Pyre seems to have broken the TDA working together plan by sneaking in and pinning AWS Man, eliminating him from the match for 2 minutes and putting himself in position to end the match and claim a title for himself.

Bill Hughes - God Damn it!  I knew we couldn't trust Pyre!  I hope AWS Man learns from this.  It's Pyre that needs to be punished and Valora should be trusted!  TDA would be even more awesome with Umbrage, Valora and AWS Man!

[Valora slides into the ring and her and Pyre stand toe to toe, looking at each other and then look up at the briefcase.  Valora starts to dart for the ladder but Pyre catches her and grabs her by the arm, spinning her around.  Valora counters with a boot to the gut and hooks Pyre's arms, lifting him and putting him on her back before jumping up into the air and hitting her version of the vertibreaker.  Valora then jumps to her feet and bends down, planting a brief kiss on Pyre's cheek before climbing the ladder and reaching up and taking hold of the briefcase.  Meanwhile, Druscilla slides into the ring and grabs hold of ladder and pushes the ladder out from under Valora but Valora jumps up and wraps her legs around the small stand to which the briefcase is tied, hanging herself upside down above the ring as she works to free the briefcase, finally doing so, hanging totally upside down, holding the briefcase in her hands to signify that she has control of the briefcase as the bell rings and Wayne Inkster steps back into the ring and the crowd cheers loudly.]

Wayne Inkster - Valora has claimed the second and final briefcase and thus ended the match!  Let's give all 7 of the competitors in the match!

[Crowd cheers loudly and chants of 'That was Awesome!' break out as Valora drops the briefcase into Wayne Inkster's hands before freeing herself from her upside down hanging position and dropping down to the mat.  Kronin, just getting up to the apron slams his fist on the ring apron in frustration.]

Jack Gene - The match is over!  Druscilla and Valora are the champions!  We're find out who has won which title momentarily here but while only two people may walk out of here with titles, everyone who competed have nothing to be ashamed about.  Everyone gave it everything they had and made this first ever Frostbite Brawl an instant classic.

Bill Hughes - But Finally, TDA has ended Kronin's title reign as GLC!  AWS Man would be laughing his ass off....if he didn't look so pissed off about it.

After Match Happenings

[Just then, the Sports Time Ohio theme plays and Sault St. Marie walks out, a huge smile on his face.]

Sault St. Marie - Congratulations.  Really.  Congratulations to Adam, AWS Man (Also Known as Bill), Druscilla, Father Nathan, Kronin, Ryven and Valora.  You all are some of the best talent Wrestling Midwest has to offer and you really rose to the occasion here tonight and made our first Frostbite Brawl a huge success.  You also reinforced the fact that it was a good idea to book extra time for a match like this.  I thought you guys were going to go all night, and keep me and these great fans on the edge of our seats the whole time.  So... before we reveal the title holders, let's have a big hand for all 7 of these great competitors!

[The crowd continues cheering as all 7 fighters stand in the ring, looking around the crowd.  Sault smiles once again and gestures towards Valora and Druscilla, urging them over.]

Sault St. Marie - Alright, now to get to the moment we have all been waiting for.  It's time to find out who our Ace Superior and Great Lakes Champions are!  Valora, Druscilla.  Please join me over here to find out which belt you now own and to receive your hard won championship belt.

[Druscilla and Valora walk over towards Sault St. Marie who takes out a key and unlocks the briefcase Druscilla won earlier in the match and as the duo arrive there, Sault St. Marie smiles and opens the briefcase, revealing.... a big card showing the name of the Ace Superior Championship.  Druscilla frowns a bit but nods and quickly resumes her smug, arrogant sneer as Sault St. Marie removes the Ace Superior Championship belt from it's case and hands it to Druscilla as he announces.]

Sault St. Marie - And... it seems that Druscilla can now call herself a 2-time Ace Superior Champion!  Congratulations to the new Ace Superior Champion, DRUSCILLA!!!!

[Valora jumps up and down and pumps her fist in the air as the crowd goes nuts and Valora chants break out as Sault smiles.]

Sault St. Marie - And... that means the big winner and the new Great Lakes Champion is....VALORA!!!!  A big congratulations to the newly crowned Great Lakes Champion!!!

[Sault St. Marie takes the Great Lakes Championship belt from it's case and then hands it to Valora who dances around in a circle, clutching the belt close to her chest and drops to her knees, resting her forehead on the metal Great Lakes Champion symbol, a few tears falling down her face.  Kronin slides out of the ring and walks up, Sault warning him back but Kronin grabs a mic and taps Valora on the shoulder.]

Kronin - Hey... not to rain on your parade...but I'll be coming back for that title soon... but that's later... for now...

[Kronin smiles and pats Valora on the shoulder.]

Kronin - Congratulations.  You deserve this.

[Kronin nods and heads off towards the back as Valora stands up and holds the Great Lakes Championship belt over her head as the crowd cheers loudly.]

Jack Gene - Big display of sportsmanship from Kronin there and I still can't believe this!  We have two new champions, Druscilla is the new Ace Superior Champion, winning the title for the second time in her career and Valora has just begun her first ever Great Lakes Champion title reign!  A hard fought, edge of your seat match that was a wild, wild ride but it came to an end and an emphatic end at that as both titles changed hands.

Bill Hughes - Yeah, but Valora lost the ASC and traded up for the GLC, when you stop and think about it, Oh man, this is gonna make Graveyard Shift a hundred times more awesome.  Valora as our GLC!  Can you imagine?

Jack Gene - A violent, psychotic, sociopath as our Great Lakes Champion... I don't think this will end well...

[The scene fades.]
