Wrestling Midwest has come to terms on the release of Shawn Cortez. We wish Shawn the best in his future endeavors.
Company officials have released some details about a “Best of Adam Pyre” DVD that will be released in the Fall. The DVD will show some of his greatest matches, both from DCW, WMW, and in the independents. Plus, some one on one interviews with the “King of Freaks”. An exact release date has not been made, but many expect it to be out before the “Wrestling Southwest” Tour.

No official statement has been released by either party other than this one.

From the desk of Alex Matheson, “We are happy to announce that we have signed Great Lakes Champion Druscilla to a 6-month contract, that will keep her in a WMW ring until December 2010.”
Officially, Jordan Keyser has agreed to a deal that will keep him on the active roster for the next 6 months.
This is the first of a few moves expected to happen by the end of next week.
Alex Matheson, WMW Director of Talent Relations, has been actively working with current superstars on new deals, as well as working with new talent in hopes of finding next year’s Rookie of the Year. According to sources, Matheson has extended offers to developmental stars Shawn Cortez and John Holmes, as well as the brother/sister tag team, the Lucky Ones.
WMW officially announced the signing of Scott McKee and OiBoy to developmental contracts this week. Both will be debuting in front of the live Cleveland crowd this week at GS122.

“We see a lot of potential in this fighter,” said Director of Talent Relations Alex Matheson. “He’s definitely unorthodox, and brings a different type of fighting style to the ring.”
Matheson said that he knew Poppins would be a work in progress, but eventually could see him competing for the Heartlands Championship.
Poppins competes again this week at GS121.
