WMW Interviewer Louie Cwik sat down with Father Nathan after GS124 went off the air. They discussed the loss, and Nathan had this to say:
[The replay opens up in the lockerroom as Father Nathan stands next to Louie Cwik.]
Louie Cwik – Father Nathan, disappointing loss tonight as we finally got to see you team up with Black Friar. Do you feel this hurts your chances moving forward in the MTL?
[Father Nathan is thoughtful for a moment and shrugs.]
Father Nathan – Well the path of righteousness is a hard road to walk. Sometimes the Lord put obstacles in the way. This is a setback to be sure, but one I feel we will bounce back from.
[With that, Father Nathan turns his back on Cwik and walks out of the room. Cwik nods. The scene fades.]

[The scene opens up to show the WMW News studio. Jane Coughlin sits in a chair, holding a stack of note cards and next to her sits former WMW Great Lakes Champion, former WMW Ace Superior Champion, former WMW Hardcore Champion and former WMW Wrestler, Valora Salinas. Valora has her newly won Missouri Valley Wrestling championship belt slung over her shoulder and is sitting there with her trademark smirk on her face.]
Jane Coughlin – Hello and welcome to our fans! It’s time for a very special issue of Jane Says. I’m here with Valora Salinas, whose WMW career came to an end at Party in the Plaza, and nearly caused a riot when it did. I’m told that Cleveland Police had to be called in to help with crowd control. Now, Valora, my first question to you has to be the same one WMW fans have been asking since that night, why? Why did you just seem to give up and let Ryven choke you out?
[Valora grins and lets out a small laugh.]
Valora – For a few reasons. Sault St. Marie being the most important..
[Jane looks confused, but Valora grins and pulls out two nails.]
Valora – Party in the Plaza. I told people I’d bring victory disguised as defeat. Sault St. Marie thinks he’s won the war against me, but in reality all he’s done is lost control over me. See? I won at Party in the Plaza. Had I beat Ryven, sure he’d be fired, but Sault St. Marie would just go back to booking me against losers, jobbers and nobodies. He’d keep me out of title shots and eventually would destroy my career. So, as much pride as I had to swallow to throw in the towel to Ryven, it’s what I needed to do to win the war. That’s actually one thing he and I have in common. When we go to war with someone, we do whatever it takes. Ryven has become a marked man. I guarantee you any public place he walks into from now on, he’ll be fighting pissed off WMW fans. I doubt he’ll have any friends in the back either. Wrestling Midwest, as great and powerful as it is without me, lost a lot of money and global spotlight with my departure. So everyone whose pocketbook is about to get lighter is going to hate Ryven. He wanted to be alone… he truly is now. But he is not the most hated man in WMW. He might be now, but sooner or later, people will turn their anger to Sault St. Marie. I put the first nail in his coffin at Party in the Plaza, and even if I have to buy a fucking ticket to be in the stands, I will be there when the last nail is put in. Mark my words Jane. Within 3 or 4 months, Wrestling Midwest, maybe even Sault St. Marie will BEG me to come back.
[Jane nods, listening as she forms her next question.]
Jane Coughlin – We have rumors that MTL 4 is starting soon and backstage gossip has Umbrage looking into a possible partner. Is this the end of the Hardcore Icons?
[Valora smirks.]
Valora – Umbrage is doing what he needs to do. Since he can’t throttle Sault St. Marie, he’s going after Ryven. If I ever make a return to Wrestling Midwest, you’ll see a reformation of the Hardcore Icons. Until then, I say good luck Umbrage and go kick some ass for me.
Jane Coughlin – Missouri Valley… you made one hell of an impact, only a couple of days after Party in the Plaza, and now, you’re the Missouri Valley Wrestling champion. Some people have said this was planned. Your answer?
[Valora laughs, shaking her head.]
Valora – If you mean planned as in, I really wanted to go to MVW so I threw the match, you’re wrong. But people watch WMW events. When I was fired, my phone was, predictably enough, swamped with phone calls. And since Sault St. Marie was too much of a moron to slap a no-compete clause onto my contract before he put my career at stake, I decided to go to Missouri Valley. To answer your inevitable question of why, it’s simple. Missouri Valley is much like WMW was. Small, kinda in the background, but ready to step up into bigger ponds. All it needs is that one person to put them on the map. That’d be me. I’m gonna do to MVW what I did to WMW and that is, put the fed on my back and carry it forward.
Jane Coughlin – So… this is it then? Have we seen the last of Valora in Wrestling Midwest?
[Valora is silent for a long moment. a tear forming in her eye, which she quickly wipes away, before looking at, shocked.]
Valora – I guess that’s up to Wrestling Midwest isn’t it? Let’s see how long it takes them to pull their heads out of their asses and admit to me what the entire freaking world already knows.
[Valora gets up and walks off stage as Jane watches her for a moment before turning to the camera.]
Jane Coughlin – And well.. this has been Jane Coughlin with a special interview, perhaps the last interview conducted with Valora for Wrestling Midwest.
[The scene fades.]

[The scene fades in to show John Squires standing infront of the Leaderboard. He's got an empty ordered list on it, with 10 spots, but the names are hidden.]
John Squires – John Squires here with your Wrestling Midwest Leaderboard Update. With just one week left until Party in the Plaza, we saw a lot of great things at Graveyard Shift 122. And… some not so great things. But, that’s what we’re here for. We’re here to give you the Leaderboard Update.
[He takes a look at the Leaderboard, and then back at the monitor with a smile.]
John Squires – This is the Leaderboard Top 10.
[The camera focuses in to show the 10th spot. Squires starts to pull the first strip of paper out to reveal the first name. He turns back to the camera.]
John Squires – For weeks, we’ve been talking about what Sault St. Marie has been doing to some people. We saw the likes of Kronin and Valora pushed off of the Leaderboard. Well, this week, we started to see who was really benefiting from this. At #10, it’s Ryven. He knocked both Kronin and Father Nathan from the top 10. All though he competed in a dark match this week, we saw that his plans are much bigger than a title match. And, wow, the match that is now booked for PitP10? Valora vs. Ryven, loser goes home. Crazy stipulations for a real crazy situation.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 9, we find Shawn Cortez. Shawn Cortez has put himself on the map these last two weeks, putting himself, a rookie, in the Top 10 list. That isn’t something that happens every day, especially going into the last week of the Supercard session. Unfortunately for Cortez, though, he could not keep the momentum going. Lost a shot at the Shoot Champion. But, maybe that’s a good thing. He also dropped a spot in the Leaderboard.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – And, we see another big name at number 8. And that’s Eric Dillinger. He dropped 2 spots from last week, but really, you’ve got to look at him as someone who seems to be both hurting and helped by Sault St. Marie’s new kick. He’s had a lot of mic time this week and is slowly, but surely, making a real name for himself in that ring. He faces Umbrage, and a plate case match? This has epic written all over it.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, it’s Amariie. She has been MIA ever since she won the Heartlands title shot. But, hey, why compete when you can rest up. She already earned the shot, so why risk it to injury. Smart move. Let’s see how she does against Gras-Dawg. No more waiting.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 6, and just shot out of nowhere, is the Great Lakes Champion, Druscilla. With the help of her partner AWS Man at GS122, she cruised right into the middle of the pack. But, that’s why she’s our Champion. When she needs to, she’ll make herself noticed.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 5, we have Black Friar. Friar, who seems to be looking over his shoulders the last few weeks, ever since he was attacked by Arick Wills. But, he answered the challenge, and another one, in fact, as we will see Friar take on Thomas Kilik and Arick Wills. Should be a good one.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 4, it’s AWS Man (also known as Bill). As we talked about before, he and Druscilla defeated Kronin and Adam Pyre. And, really set the tone going into Party in the Plaza. AWS Man (also known as Bill) did what he needed to to make sure he was right at Druscilla’s side. And each one of these guys has a lot on the line. Whoo.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires – And now, for your top 3.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – In 3rd place, he is your Heartlands Champion, Gras-Dawg! Gras-Dawg, has been hanging around the top 3 for the last few weeks. Really keeping the spotlight on him, even when he doesn’t compete. He’ll make his first Supercard title defense this week against Amariie.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – And for the top 2, probably the surprise story of June, Hecate jumped 5 spots up to almost overtake the top spot. To date, that’s probably one of the biggest jumps we’ve seen here on the Leaderboard. You can assume that Sault St. Marie is getting a bit uneasy about how big of a threat Hecate is turning up to be for him.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires – But, that leads us to your Fighter of the Month, your #1 on the Leaderboard, for two weeks in a row no less, your Shoot Champion. Jade. After Jade lost the Great Lakes Championship, many looked at her as down and out. But she has bounced back in a strong way. She’s your Leaderboard Update Fighter of the Month. Congratulations. But now, it’s time for Party in the Plaza 2010. We begin our new session next week.
[He takes a look at the board and nods. He turns back to the camera with a smile.]
John Squires – This has been your Leaderboard Update. I’m John Squires. We’ll see you next week.
[The scene fades.]

[The scene fades in to show John Squires standing infront of the Leaderboard. He's got an empty ordered list on it, with 10 spots, but the names are hidden.]
John Squires – John Squires here with your Leaderboard Update. We keep rolling through this session, as we head towards Party in the Plaza 2010. We are just one week away, so basically, this is it. These are your listing of the Top 10 Fighters in WMW going into GS122, and there are a lot of close battles.
John Squires – There seemed to be a trend this month, where Sault St. Marie continued to keep most of the Champions off the card. No one knows what his plans are or what the hope is, but it should be noted that even his hand-picked Great Lakes Champion Druscilla fell off the list. Coming in at the 10-spot is the Ace Superior Champion, Father Nathan. Nathan has competed once since Blood Factory, so he’s holding on for dear life. He dropped 3 spots this week.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 9, it’s one half of the Midwest Tag League Champions, and a man who is doing everything he can to remain in the GLC hunt, Kronin. He took on Adam Pyre at GS121, and to everyone’s surprise, even my own, Pyre took home the victory and was voted the Fighter of the Week. Kronin, much like many of the other normal main eventers struggle to keep afloat in the Leaderboard. He also dropped 3 spots since last week.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 8, it’s the newcomer, and a man who is definitely making waves in the early goings of his WMW career. Shawn Cortez. It’s hard to give him too much credit thus far, but just consider for a second, he’s been here two weeks, and has surpassed the GLC and the ASC. Again, it’s all because of Sault St. Marie’s booking, but still. Something to think about it.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, and actually quite surprising, is Hecate. She picked up a big win against Lester Cartwright. The downside to that, though, is she put him on the shelf for a few weeks because of a concussion. It’s likely she’ll be hearing about that, but hey, that’s the sport. Sometimes, that happens. You can’t prevent it. But, it seems like she’s a part of that group here that St. Marie can find a fault in.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 6, it’s Eric Dillinger. He keeps climbing each month, making it known that he’s here and he’s become a relatively successful talent. A lot of people have noticed, including Umbrage. Which, it looks like they’ll be seeing a lot of eachother heading into Party in the Plaza.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 5, it’s the Insane One, AWS Man (also known as Bill). This was his spot last week, so not much movement. Actually, going up from here, there was only one change since last week. He’s got a match this week, a tag team match in the Main Event at GS122. So, he’s got an opportunity to climb a few more spots depending on that outcome.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 4, and again, same as last week, Amariie Maerthos. Amariie has been silent since winning the PitP Heartlands Championship title shot against Gras-Dawg. I don’t know if she went back into hiding, maybe nursing an injury? It’s unknown where she has been, why she hasn’t been seen in WMW since, and what this means for Party in the Plaza. But if something is to happen, hopefully, it happens this week.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires – And now, for your top 3.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – In 3rd place it’s Black Friar. Last week, Friar heard the challenge from Arick Wills, but rumor has it, Thomas Kilik is still knocking at that door as well. Friar did not compete last week, and this week, he’s once again left off the card. Will be interesting to see if he does take Arick Wills on his challenge or not.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – And for the top 2, we’re trading places. Last week it was Jade then Gras-Dawg, this week? Gras-Dawg drops to 2nd. Gras-Dawg took the week off, and we’re being told that it’s a mixture of a few things. First, he’s resting for his big title defense at PitP. Then, if you’ve been following the internet rumors, he did not sign a new contract, which could mean Gras-Dawg is holding out for a better deal? It’s really unclear, and it’s disappointing to see contracts get in the way of competition. But, Gras-Dawg is at the top of his division. His PitP opponent has been chosen. It’s probably in his best interest to sit at home.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires – But, that leads us to the new number one of the Leaderboard. It’s Jade and she continues to cruise through the month of June. At GS121, she defeated up and comer Marty Poppins. All though, I think we knew the outcome of that match before it even happened. That does not discredit the victory as Jade looked very good as we lead up to PitP. This week, we find out who she will be defending the Shoot Championship against: John Holmes, Justin Lucky or Shawn Cortez. Cortez is currently the favorite as he’s the only one in the Top 10 going into GS122.

We are just a few weeks away, and will see who continues to soar through the Leaderboard tonight at GS121. Right now, lets go over your GS120 Leaderboard Update.
John Squires – Last week, we had a 6-way tie for the 8th through 10th spot. Today, a much different picture. Coming in at number 10, it’s Lester Cartwright. Despite his loss at GS120 at the hands of the Heartlands Champion, Cartwright hangs on in the Leaderboard Top 10. Tonight, he hopes to keep his chances alive as he takes on the former Heartlands Champion, Hecate.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 9, it’s one half of the Midwest Tag League Champions, Ryven. He takes on Eric Dillinger later on tonight in what should go down as a fantastic match. Dillinger has the same amount of points as Ryven, so whomever wins that match will push the other out of the Top 10, that’s for sure.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 8, she is your Great Lakes Champion Druscilla. She was lucky enough to get the week off, no doubt, because of her relationship with Sault St. Marie. All though she had an opportunity to rest last week, she dropped 3 places. And, all though it’s not official, don’t expect Druscilla to fight again before Party in the Plaza.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, he is your Ace Superior Champion, Father Nathan. Despite Nathan just cruising through the month of May, he’s had a slow start going into June. Much like we saw for Druscilla, he got the week off. This week, however, he will be competing against a CMW call up. So, we should see him keep his place, or improve in some fashion, going into GS122.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 6, we are witnessing a wild, downward spiral for the former Great Lakes Champion, Kronin. His future looked so promising when he not only won the Ace in the Hole, but used it to successfully win the GLC. Unfortunately, since then, it seems that he’s following a similar path that the other former GLC, Valora, is on. Kronin’s now fighting for a spot on the show, which shows us another reason why you shouldn’t cross the boss. This week, he’s got a chance to redeem himself, but is it too late?
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 5, it’s the Insane One, AWS Man (also known as Bill). This guy has had such a successful career, it’s almost unbelievable when you realize this is his first legitimate appearance in the top 5 for months. Despite what you think about him, it’s good to see him back near the top. He picked up a win against Marty Poppins last week.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 4, it’s Amariie Maerthos. She fell back 2 spots going into GS121, and no sign of her remaining in the top 5, let alone in that top 3 she’s been accustomed to. I don’t know if it’s her, or just bad booking, but Amariie will be left off of GS121.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires – And now, for your top 3.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – In 3rd place it’s Black Friar. Last week, he defeated Arick Wills, knocking Wills out of the Top 10 all together. Many expected Friar to fall off the face of the earth after his disappointing loss against Amariie for the HLC #1 Contendership. But, Friar continues to plow through the competition and he’s not looking back.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – In 2nd, she is your Shoot Champion. Last week, she was in the top spot, but taking the week off proved to be a mistake. That is, at least in the Leaderboard. With PitP it’s obvious she’s in preparation mode, waiting to find out who she will face with the title on the line. Tonight, she takes on Marty Poppins.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires – And at the top of the list is your Heartlands Champion, Gras-Dawg. Wow. Here comes another superstar out of the Heartlands Division. So many have used this title to be their first shot at standing on the WMW Championship Pedistal. Gras-Dawg is no different. With a huge win against Lester Cartwright at GS120, successfully defending his title, Gras-Dawg jumps 5 spots to become your current Leader. Not only that, but yesterday, he was named the Fighter of the Week.

We are in our final week of the new Leaderboard session. GS119 continued the race towards Party in the Plaza and it was obvious for most, Blood Factory took it’s toll.
[He takes a look at the Leaderboard, and then back at the monitor with a smile.]
John Squires – This is the Leaderboard Top 10.
[The camera focuses in but, the 8th through 10th spot is just one big block. Squires starts to pull the first strip of paper out to reveal the first name. He turns back to the camera.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 8. Yes, we’re starting this week at #8, as there is a 6-way tie, as AWS Man, Umbrage, El Oso, Arick Wills, Lester Cartwright and 1-half of the Tag Team Champions Ryven all fight for their spot in the Leaderboard.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, ahead of the pack, is Black Friar. Friar lost his bid for the Heartlands Championship as he lost to Amariie, but he still has a good shot at keeping his name in the hunt.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 6 is your Heartlands Champion, the company “Under Dawg”… Gras-Dawg. He had an incredible month of May, and looks to keep carrying that streak with him as we enter into June. He now knows who he will face at Party in the Plaza. His goal for June is to stay healthy and at the top of his game.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 5, it’s your new Great Lakes Champion Druscilla. She finally knocked Kronin back to earth, not only beating him at GS119, but taking home the coveted GLC. That’s the biggest prize in the game folks, and it now sits around Druscilla’s waist.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 4, we’ve got the Ace Superior Champion Father Nathan. He fell down the board this week, but not by much. He’s still feared in that division, and some are suggesting that he may beat out Shadow to become the longest reigning ASC in WMW history.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires – And now, for your top 3.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – In 3rd place is the former Great Lakes Champion, but reigning Midwest Tag League Champion, Kronin. All though he lost the title, and a bit of ground in the Leaderboard, he still sits in the top 3 and, if we all know Kronin, will do what he has to do to regain his dominant spot.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – In 2nd, it’s the HLC #1 Contender, Amariie Maerthos. She knocked Black Friar out of the running for the title and will head into Party in the Plaza for another shot at Gras-Dawg.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires – And at the top of the list is your Shoot Champion, Jade. She took on CMW prodigy Saiphraxis of Sparta and really showed the crowd why she holds that Championship, and why she deserves her spot at the top of the Leaderboard. Jade will not be at GS120, so it will be interesting to see if she can hold onto her top spot.

John Squires - John Squires here with your Leaderboard Update. We are in our final week of the new Leaderboard session. GS118 saw probably the most movement thus far in this Leaderboard session, so let’s take a look to see where everyone stands.
[He takes a look at the Leaderboard, and then back at the monitor with a smile.]
John Squires - This is the Leaderboard Top 10.
[The camera focuses in on the 10th spot, as Squires starts to pull the first strip of paper out to reveal the first name. He turns back to the camera.]
John Squires - Coming in at number 10, is Gras-Dawg. He was the underdog for the last 4 weeks as he continued to fight in the MTL3 by himself. It finally hit him hard, with a loss against the Hardcore Icons. He was pushed out of the MTL, but not quite out of the Leaderboard. This week, he hopes he can bounce back and win in the Heartlands Championship match.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - At number 9, Jordan Keyser finally makes his presence known on the Leaderboard. He picked up a big win over Adam Pyre, and that win basically gave him a rematch against Jade this week for the Shoot Championship. You’ll notice that Jade isn’t in this list. She was at the number 8 spot last week. Will that drop be reflected in the Blood Factory match? Probably not.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 8, it’s Valora Salinas. She was able to salvage some momentum as both her and her partner Umbrage defeated Gras-Dawg and once and for all put the Hardcore Icons in sight of the MTLCs. Now, they just have to get through the Revolution.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, Arick Wills drops down from the 5 spot. He lost his bid for the Heartlands Championship title shot with a loss against Amariie Maerthos.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 6, it’s Cake who picked up yet another loss last week. This time against Thomas Kilik. This marks her second straight loss in as many weeks.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 5 we have Lester Cartwright who continues his slow decent in the Leaderboard. Last week, he was in the 3rd spot. But, with a loss against Outlaw Biker, he was not only knocked down, but knocked out of the Heartlands Championship race. For now at least. He’s got another opportunity at Blood Factory as he competes in the 15-man Over the Top Challenge, where the winner will earn a #1 Contendership match at GS119.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – And speaking of Outlaw Biker, he now sits at number 4. Biker basically moved up 6 spots from last week, which is huge. But, considering how badly banged up this guy is, he can only hope to continue cruising through Blood Factory.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires - And now, for your top 3.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 3rd place is the reigning Ace Superior Champion, Father Nathan. And, at Blood Factory, he’ll be fighting his biggest challenge yet: Matrix, Wone and Eric Dillinger in the infamous Blood Factory match. This one won’t be pretty, and Nathan will have to bring more than faith with him if he plans on keeping that title.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 2nd, it’s Amariie Maerthos. She moved up from fourth to second this week after her win against Arick Wills. At Blood Factory, she has an opportunity to win back the Heartlands Championship that she wore at this time last year. She’s got to get through Outlaw Biker and Gras-Dawg, and neither will be a picnic.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires - And at the top of the list is your Great Lakes Champion, Kronin. He had pretty much the perfect month. Blood Factory, though, could be a different story. He’s being forced to defend both the MTLCs with Ryven, as well as the GLC against Valora. And all in one night. It will be interesting to see how the new Leaderboard session begins.
[He takes a look at the board and nods. He turns back to the camera with a smile.]
John Squires - This has been your Leaderboard Update. I’m John Squires. We’ll see you next week.

John Squires - John Squires here with your Leaderboard Update. We are in our second week of the new Leaderboard session. GS117 saw a lot of movement in the Leaderboard, so let’s take a look to see where everyone stands.
John Squires - Coming in at number 10, debuting in the Top 10 is Outlaw Biker. Biker, who has not made any bones about his injuries, and has decided to take his interest in remaining in the Heartlands Championship tournament as a higher priority then listening to doctors. This week, it paid off and he defeated Thomas Kilik to advance, but can he continue at that pace? Only time will tell.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - At number 9, the former number 1 and former Great Lakes Champion, Valora continues to drop. She is now one place away from being out of the Leaderboard Top 10 all together. May has not been a good month for her, but she hopes to change that at GS118 with a win over Gras-Dawg in the MTL3. It’ll at least give her a couple points which could very well be her saving grace in these rankings.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 8, which goes along with the new format, is Shoot Champion Jade. Prior to this week, Jade had remained in the top 3, but today, she has dropped down a few pegs. Her tag team loss with TCA didn’t help her position. GS118 could very well help her if she can get herself turned around.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, is Gras-Dawg and his classic underdog story. It’s David vs. Goliath and for the last few weeks, he has kicked Goliath’s ass. No one expected him to do so well, by himself, in the MTL tournament. His success has now brought the whole MTL tournament into question.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 6, Amariie Maerthos continues to rise and get closer to holding the Heartlands Championship. This week, she defeated Tyson Banes, knocking him out of the tournament and the Top 10.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At GS118, she faces Arick Wills who continues to turn heads. And he’s this week’s number 5. Another win for Arick means another move up the board.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 4, for the second week in a row, is Cake. She was knocked out of the tournament by Lester Cartwright, but was able to keep her position.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires - And now, for your top 3.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 3rd place is the man who knocked out Cake at GS116, Lester Cartwright. He’s doing everything right as of late, and continues to move forward in the Heartlands Championship Tournament. He takes on Outlaw Biker at GS118, and with an injured Biker, many are looking at him continuing his rise.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 2nd, Father Nathan, who remained at the number 2 spot despite not competing this week.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires - And at the top of the list, Mr. Ace in the Hole himself, the Great Lakes Champion, Kronin. He continues to cruise through the competition with an almost perfect stride.
[He takes a look at the board and nods. He turns back to the camera with a smile.]
John Squires - This has been your Leaderboard Update. I’m John Squires. We’ll see you next week.
[The scene fades.]

[The scene fades in to show John Squires standing infront of the Leaderboard. He's got an empty ordered list on it, with 10 spots, but the names are hidden.]
John Squires - John Squires here with your Leaderboard Update. We are in our second week of the new Leaderboard session. Obviously, High Stakes was a huge boost for a lot of these fighters, but GS116 continued the pace, and even more so for some people.
[He takes a look at the Leaderboard, and then back at the monitor with a smile.]
John Squires - Without further adieu, the Leaderboard Top 10.
[The camera focuses in on the 10th spot, as Squires starts to pull the first strip of paper out to reveal the first name. He turns back to the camera.]
John Squires - Coming in at number 10, is the returning Amariie Maerthos. This was her first match in quite some time, and her first appearance in the Heartlands division this year. She really turned a lot of heads at the top of the year, taking home the Shoot Championship. This week, she picked up a big win and put herself in a good position in the Heartlands tournament.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - At number 9, Arick Wills. All though his win included a bit of controversy, Arick Wills put himself in the top of the Heartlands tournament heap, defeating El Oso, and narrowly escaping an attack by Zana Knight.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 8, with a win that shocked the Midwest, if not the world, Gras-Dawg, with his defeat over the Hardcore Icons. Remember, he remains in the MTL3 tournament, even though his partner, Mo’ Bad is still on the shelf. And, to his credit, Gras-Dawg continues to win shorthanded. With his win last week, he’s one step closer to being named the MTL3 Winner.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – At number 7, we have Tyson Banes, who had the week off. He dropped down one spot.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – He’s followed at number 6 by Lester Cartwright. Cartwright picked up a loss, but didn’t lose his position in the Leaderboard.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 5, a big surprise for many, Valora Salinas. She dropped from first to 5th in one week as she lost two matches. The first was against Gras-Dawg, the second, was Kronin cashing in the Ace in the Hole. She’s got a lot of ground to make up this week.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires – Coming in at number 4, it’s Cake, who picked up another win, this time against Pirate Ninja. That is her third win in a row, and she now is being seen as one of the favorites to win this month’s Heartlands tournament.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
John Squires - And now, for your top 3. And this shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise, as the top 3 are all Champions.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 3rd place is the reigning Shoot Champion Jade. She was unable to pick up a win as her team, the Celestial Avatars, were knocked out of the MTL3 tournament by Dillinger and Keyser. This week, she hopes to do the same to Gras-Dawg.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 2nd, Father Nathan, who continues on his pace to becoming the greatest Ace Superior Champion of all-time. He defeated Matrix in what some are calling one of the best matches this year to appear on Graveyard Shift.
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires - And at the top of the list, Mr. Ace in the Hole himself, Kronin. Not only did he defeat Shank to retain the rights to that contract, he used the contract that night to take the Great Lakes Championship off of Valora right before the show ended.

He's got an empty ordered list on it, with 7 spots, but the names are hidden.]
John Squires - John Squires here with your Leaderboard Update. Once again, this week was the beginning of the new Leaderboard session. We had numerous title matches, as well as the big Ace in the Hole match, which really stole the show.
[He takes a look at the Leaderboard, and then back at the monitor with a smile.]
John Squires - Because of the smaller than normal card, we’re going to keep this listing to the Top 7.
[The camera focuses in on the 7th spot, as Squires starts to pull the first strip of paper out to reveal the first name. He turns back to the camera.]
John Squires - Coming in at number 7, is part-time referee, part-time wrestler, Tyson Banes. He picked up a win this week, if you want to even call it that, against the newcomer Harold. Yes, Harold is a cat. No, it doesn’t make any sense.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - At number 6, “Lucky” Lester Cartwright rolls in after his victory over Hollywood Ninja. He’s on a quest to destroy each and every member of the Misfit Ninjas. At High Stakes, he came closer to reaching that goal.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - At the 5-spot, Cake. At High Stakes, she picked up her second win in a row, defeating El Oso. She hopes to continue this streak this week as we really start to exhibit the Heartlands division.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - Coming in at 4 is Mr. Ace in the Hole, Kronin. He defeated 7 other fighters in the match that made High Stakes famous, the Ace in the Hole ladder match. Will he use the title shot this week? Only time will tell.
[He looks back at the board, then back to the camera. A drumroll sounder begins.]
And now, for your top 3. And this shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise, as the top 3 are all Champions.
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 3rd place is the reigning Shoot Champion Jade. She defeated Jordan Keyser, successfully defending her title. Kronin has shown major interest in the Shoot Championship as of late. Could he use the shot to take on Jade?
[He turns back to the board and reveals another name.]
John Squires - In 2nd, Father Nathan, likewise – successfully defending the Ace Superior Championship. Could we see Kronin face Nathan in the hopes of being a 2-time ASC?
[He turns back to the board and reveals the final name.]
John Squires - And at the top of the list, Valora Salinas. She successfully defended the Great Lakes Championship against her That Damn Awesome brethren AWS Man (also known as Bill).
[He takes a look at the board and nods. He turns back to the camera with a smile.]
John Squires - This has been your Leaderboard Update. I’m John Squires. We’ll see you next week.
[The scene fades.]
